Kimchi Korean Restaurant

Very friendly and nice staff and good food but the tofu soup is extremely spicy even though it is listed as a low spice item. They have gluten free choices.

My first time at a Korean Restaurant and must say it was a lovely experience. We ordered spicy pork and seafood stew served with rice. I thought the stew consistency would be thicker but found the dish to be more like a soup….may be that is how it is… Nevertheless it was warm with seafood and tofu… just right with the awesome rains.

I've never been to a Korean restaurant, I loved my first time. I loved the decor, real plants. We ordered a pot of green tea which was delicious and loved the little cups. I wish we could have added tofu to our dishes but it seemed they couldn't due to the way they put the order in. I'd love to go back and order something different to try. Very friendly and welcoming place.

Great Korean place! We were a group of 5, dined-in, service was really great and warm. We ordered spicy rolls, rice cakes (comes without the fish cakes and egg for vegetarians/vegans), bulgogi gopdol, chicken gopdol, vegetable japchae and spicy chicken udong. Flavors were on point, the spice had a good kick and heat to it. Would definitely visit again/get take-out. One of the must try Korean spots in the State College area!!

Food was excellent, service was super fast, and the prices are very reasonable. My new go to in state college. Photo is what we took home after stuffing ourselves.

I honestly do not understand how anyone could rate this place less than 5 stars. I have been here atleast 10-15 times and every single time has been a great experience. The food looks and tastes amazing, and the staff has been nothing but friendly to my fiancé and I. We have been to all the expensive/ fine dining restaurants in the area, and I would much rather have Kimchi instead. They do an awesome job here.

Went for dinner and loved the food and service. The ladies serving were so lovely!! We also came with our daughter and was perfect for her too.

This was the first time for my wife and I trying Korean food. It did not disappoint ! I had the spicy seafood udong and she had the Galbi Dolsot. Both meals were super filling and had the perfect amount of spice. Our meals came with a soup, kimchi, hot pickles and fish balls, which were also endless side dishes. Our server was extremely nice to top off the experience. Can’t wait to come back.

Very good meal. Never been to Korean restaurant before, went with a Korean friend. Will be taking my wife along next time. Staff was very courteous.

The food was very good! I liked their rice cakes. I think that their homemade kimchi could be better. Overall, I liked this place.

I had a great time here! Everyone was really nice and the service was perfect. I got a lemon with my coke instead of a lime but whatever (it's not a big deal). The food was hot and delicious this was my first time having Korean cuisine and I loved it.

I used to live near this restaurant years ago, and when they opened they were a buffet, then switched to order meals. And I have eaten there since they opened. I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing. I moved away a few years ago, but was back in town today and stopped in for lunch, it was like visiting my lost Korean Grandma. She was so sweet, service was amazing. Food was incredible. I would highly, highly recommend this place. It’s an experience. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely eat here.

My favorite Korean restaurant! My favorite things to get are the dolsot bibimbap and the galbi dolsot with a fried egg on top! I love it when they roll out the food in the giant stone bowls and they are steaming hot! Great for a cold, snowy day. They've also tried adding new things recently, such as the mille crepe cakes. I'll definitely be taking my brothers here next time they visit!

I have ordered kimchi for so many times and the rice cake as well as the fish Tofu are my favorite. Besides, recently I just noticed that the 辣炒五花肉is also very delicious. Super good food and really fast service. We went on a Friday night and were seated right away!

We loved our meal. The bulgogi japchae was a hit with my son. It's one of his favorite dishes. When it isn't done right we hear about it. He was the first to finish his meal and he wanted more. The bibimbap was excellent as well. This is definitely a go to restaurant when we visit our daughter.

Honestly the food was delicious and my server was the sweetest woman. I loved everything about this place.

Nice staff, good food, with large portions. Spicy pork is good, and sort of a medium spicy. The udon noodles are perfect.

Customer service was excellent! Food was fresh and delicious! We ordered the fried egg rolls, shrimp dumplings and fried wonton. The fried items were light and crispy, not greasy in the slightest. Also had ginger tea and it was wonderful! Definitely recommend!!!
