Discovery place is a wonderful place to take kids! However, all ages can enjoy the activities. The activities are fun, interactive, and educational. There are many different types of centers, and you can move at your own leisure. There is availability to hold birthday parties there, and they have a little gift shop as well. Price of admission is very affordable, and you could stay as long or as little as you would like. Staff was very friendly and helpful! You can buy memberships or daily admission. Will definitely be going back again!

What a great place to bring the kids! This place was very impressive. There were tons of different things for the kids to play with, not to mention learn from. My favorite was the dinosaur bone dig where you dug up assorted bones and matched them up with the correct dinosaur. We attended a birthday party here. They performed an assortment of experiments with dry ice. The kids were memorized by it! The staff was wonderful as well. It's worth stopping by and checking it out!

Great fun for the curious of all ages! We are building a community model railroad display to use for learning STEM and other things. The Rivet makerspace is attached and convenient for making parts!

An awesome place to take your child to learn and play. We have a family membership and go around once a week and my son still loves going. Tons of science, technology, engineering and math to work on.

We celebrated our son's 5th birthday party and we are glad we chose Discovery space. Entire space was clean and exhibits were rearranged nicely since the last time we been there. Staff were so friendly, attentive and cheerful. They patiently answered all my questions over the phone. Our little guests and their parents liked the space, kids enjoyed their activity and had lots of fun exploring around. Definitely recommend for parties.

Great place for young children with no time limit. Staff are very friendly. Marine life area is small but they have some interesting species. Definitely needs some volunteer help to repair some existing exhibits. The gift shop was affordable and had some nostalgic stem toys from my childhood. If they would offer more for older kids and audio explanations to better inform children. I think it would bring in more foot traffic. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend visiting.

One of my 4 year old’s favorite places to visit. New exhibits come in and they move things around so he never gets tired of going. The fish tanks are great and he’ll watch the fish for 1/2 hour. Friendly/knowledgeable staff and we love the weekly Storytime/science lessons

This is a wonderful place to take children of all ages, including adults! The hands-on experiences at various stations are fun while also being educational. You could easily spend several hours here and be so engrossed in the experience that you lose track of time. There is ample parking and usually an admission charge. They have a small gift shop; we were looking for a teeshirt for our grandson but they did not have any.

Kids loved it! They have a number of hands on exhibits demonstrating various scientific principles from solar energy to electrical engineering. It appeals to multiple ages. We had a preschooler and an elementary student with us. Even the adults of the group were entertained. It's away from the Penn State campus, near the high school football stadium.

Great for kids if all ages. You can check out a pass at the local library, but if you plan on traveling at all, a year pass (~$100 for a household) is well worth it. You can use your pass to get in to many museums around the US for free. We went to the Children's Science museum in Pittsburg, and it would have cost around $50 for one visit. It was free with our Discovery Space family pass.

Stopped by on our drive through PA to Lancaster, for the kids to stretch their legs. There were plenty of activities for them to be engaged for a couple of hours.

It was so much fun for my kids to just roam free and experience a bunch of different fun stations. 1110% will return!

Great place for children of all ages to play, learn and explore. My only suggestion would be more personal help to work stations and or clearer instructions on the use of items. Could spend hours there and not get bored!

Fantastic space, great facilitators, and tons for children to do here! They offer birthday parties as well and workshops on the weekends relating to STEM exploration. Overall a gem in State College and an amazing resource for the community.

Super great place. I take son here twice a week for baby explorers and music makers. I like that they have a no unaccompanied adults rule because they're are some real creepers in state college.

A great resource for the local community! I've seen some reviews complaining about lack of activities for very young children... to be honest I'm not sure where that's coming from. And for the price it can't be beat!

A great place to bring your kids. There are so many great science based hands on exhibits (which change regularly) to teach and entertain kids.
