Rita’s Taco Shop

This is my go-to for breakfast burritos! I usually always get the potatoe, egg, and cheese. It's been great every time. Their sauce game is always on point as well. My son loves their rolled tacos. He is a little bit of a picky eater, so take that as you will. Over all, a great place to stop to get some good eats.

Excellent enchiladas and chorizo eggs - and they have Mexican Coke!

I drove past Rita's so many times, put off by the drive-in configuration, and the fact I'm not much into tacos. But tonight when we got back into town late, and saw they were still open, we walked in to find a sweet diner with a complete menu. I chowed down on two perfect chicken enchiladas, and my spouse got the chorizo plate with beans, salad, and rice. It's great to find an all-night place in Cedar City, but even better to find a great place to enjoy bouncy Mexican music and delicious Mexican food!

Outstanding Mexican in an unexpected place. The carne asada is authentic, the sauces make your tongue stand up and take notice. Definitely a must for anyone who likes Mexican and lives in or is passing through cedar City Utah.

I have been visiting Cedar City and a local suggested Valerie’s Taco as a good place to eat. They were right. The prices are very reasonable and the Food was GREAT. I would come back and eat here again anytime

We’ve tried Menudo around Cedar city but their Menudo is the best!! And their prices is far cheaper than other restaurant! Thank you! This is going to be my favorite Menudo place

Definitely a cut above the usual US small-town Mexican fare, and the usual interstate-exit options. Tortillas seemed hand-rolled. Street tacos very tasty. Recommended!

Amazing. Really and truly. We rolled up around midnight and I took forever to order because I just couldn’t decide. The staff was very patient and kind. When we got our food they threw in a Jamaica juice for free unexpectedly. I think it’s because they were out of horchata when we asked. And the Food. The food was so good. I ordered 3 grilled jalapeños extra and corn tortillas with the adobado plate. It was the perfect amount of food too. My first time but I’m going back next time I want Mexican at midnight.

My partner and I stop by this place every tuesday to grab some chicken tacos. The service is always good and the tacos are great. Fair price, nice servers, and tasty food.

The carne asada fries are great as well as their salsas.

Eat at the restaurant. Everything was delicious but anytime you have a long drive and Styrofoam you get sweaty and soggy food. Still tasted great. I doubt they need my review as they seem busy at all hours for good reason. Really good food.

The pictures of the SMALL burrito in the review below me are deceiving and the girl must eat like a cow of she thinks these burritos are SMALL lol oh and that dang CALIFORNIA BURRITO IS 🔥 NO JOKE and the asada taco is great as well and service was good in my expirence not a long wait either. Definitely stop here and try ! Thanks guys.

A must stop if you enjoy Mexican food.

The best thing about these guys is they are open 24 hours. Everything I've ever ordered from them has just been done right and it's always been good. The staff is friendly and understanding. And even though it's a higher quality of food than fast food they still get you through line pretty quickly.

Pretty solid spot. Usually, it's really uniform with orders and quality. Sometimes it's busy, and the wait is a little longer, but 9/10 it's pretty quick.

I ordered rolled tacos and 2 Carne sada tacos they were very good I'll stop there again next time I'm in cc.

My history with Valerie's dates back over a decade, when the shop was a Roberto's. In that decade, the quality has stayed consistent. The tacos are always good (not the most amazing, but they don't need to be), and the carnitas is excellent. The rice bowls are fun, but they're far too filling these days for me.

One of the real highlights of Valerie's (aside from the fact that it's an old Sonic location, and it feels like it) is their hot pickled carrots. Those things are excellent. The salsa is good, too.

I stop at Valerie's basically every time I pass through Cedar City, and I always enjoy myself. Don't go looking for fine dining, but if you know what you're in for, it'll be great. I've probably eaten there 100-plus times (I lived a block away during college for a long period), and I'm not sick of it yet.

My husband and I love this place! The food is always warm and ready, even when I get off at work around two. The owner and employees are super friendly and go out of their way to get to know frequent guests.
