Cherokee Campground & Family

Literally THE best campgrounds that my husband and I have stayed at so far!!! We had a deck for our fifth wheel which was super awesome because we have for dogs. The gravel that they've added to the captains is great because it really cus down on the fort tracked in by or shoes and prevents mud build up around the doors. It is so peaceful, beautiful and quiet here. We stayed for a month and the rate was perfect. We also had a fire pit provided (each individual site has their own provided by the owner). Would highly recommend!!

we stopped for what was supposed to be only overnight on our trip to New England from Tennessee. that turned into 3 nights because of the environment of this campground. rolled in late and were met by the owner who was happy to show us the spot and even offered extra hoses if ours didn't reach. we normally keep to ourselves but instantly felt like part of the family when we arrived. we will be stopping there on our way back as well as long as there is spots available! worth the stay and highly recommend it to anyone!

Got a cabin for $75 and they were good to us we stayed 3 hours pass check out. I would come back here. people are really nice and the place is cheap. For a weekend.

Amazing weekend at this amazing campground. Epic amenities, trails and a great DJ. Made so many great memories with my kids. This place is short driving or walking distance to both lakes at Pine Grove State Furnace state park, along with an epic blast of history with a self guided tour through Camp Micheaux POW camp. Epic spot to lay your head while you are enjoying what the park has to offer!

This place is amazing my family of five stayed in a really nice cabin and the people there were super nice we were treated like family they had events all weekend horse rides for kids bingo and a Saturday night party with DJ buddy my kids spent most of the weekend in the pool and playground making new friends and the food at the snack shack is really good and adorable they even delivered the fire wood right to our site all the people there take a lot of pride in there camp ground and it show we will be going back and we can't wait

Great people that run the campground very kind and pleasant. There is alot of very nice people that camp here. Nader is a great owner and constantly making upgrades to make camping an even better experience and very clean. The activities are so much fun.

Awsome place the general manager is very friendly hospitable. Goes above and beyond to have a great camping experience. Im planing to try to stay longer. I highly recommended this camp site very family oriented.

It was amazing. Very nice proprietor, even brought us some milk for our 2 small children because we are traveling in a skoolie. Very quiet and only $40 a night! Will be staying here on our way back to Vermont!

The people of this campground are like a family community. They pulled together and help my family in so many ways after a storm destroyed our tent in the middle of night. We were just "strangers" passing through knowing no one, yet they all helped in whatever ways they could and making us feel welcome and like we were just part of their family.

Nader who manages the park and the snack bar could not be friendlier more helpful.. We will go their any time we're going to shows at Carlisle Fairgrounds

Very nice people, campers and staff. They have very clean rest/shower rooms. Food from the snack shack was awesome. Great band on Saturday night. Loved the cabin we rented. Low prices with a lot of fun.

Looks like a very nice place. Pool looks so refreshing on a hot day.

I have not stayed here but I have visited people who stay over the summer season and a couple who stay all year long.

This place is very beautiful! What I like about this campground the most is people are very friendly and if you have any type of problem, people are willing to help you. In other words no one here thinks they are better then everybody else. Being friendly and family oriented is how I would call this campground. I absolutely love this campground and the owner really cares about the people who camp here and the snack shack has really great food! This place just keeps getting better every day with the improvements that are being made like more RV sites being put in along with tent sites where you can really rough it and be a mountain man or woman, lol! If you come here to check it out, you will see just how beautiful it is and how great everyone cares about this campground and keeping it beautiful looking.

The owner Pap is very nice and goes out of his way to make your stay the best! The snack shack is small but jammed packed full menu and friendly service is the best. The salt water pool looked clean and well cared for. I would visit this campground again.

Very Very nice camp ground. The people are so friendly. The best camp ground around. Plenty of things to do. The entertainment is great. The food is out of this world. Love this place.

Great Campground, very nice pool, playground. Great employees, the food is amazing and entertainment every Saturday. Within walking distance of the Appalachian trail and plenty of streams to fish.

This is the best camp grounds around by far. From the owners to the guest everyone makes you feel at home and like family. Must go to visit because you will always want to come back.
