Kettle Lake Kitchen

This is such a jem here in Meadville! Delicious made to order clean food. I will definitely be stopping here anytime I am in the area.
I had the steak salad and it was super fresh and the flavors mixed perfectly!
You absolutely need to stop in and try their on tap Kombucha as well.

LOVE love LOVE this restaurant! They have the most unique variety of bowls… salads.. sandwiches, etc…. Big portions…. Friendly staff… nice atmosphere.. outdoor seating as well … small indoor seating area. We love it here .. and love trying out new menu items . HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Enjoyed one of the best bowls of soup I’ve ever had. It was spicy and hearty, with layers of flavor and plenty of tender beef. It was 4 degrees outside and it absolutely hit the spot.
My girlfriend and I each ordered different bowls to share and neither dish disappointed! The prices were a bit steep, but the portions were generous and the staff was personable and made us feel at home.
I was only in Meadville for the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised to come across Kettle Lake Kitchen.

We stumbled on this restaurant while on the road to Pittsburgh. Nestled in the back of a market in what appears to be an old train station, the restaurant is very cozy. The food and maple hops were delicious and the owner was incredibly kind. I highly recommend trying the beef dish substituted with jackfruit. Will definitely come again if we find ourselves on this path in the future. This place is a gem!

My husband and I stopped here with our two small children on a whim when the restaurant we wanted to celebrate my birthday at was closed. This restaurant was new to us and well over an hour from where we live.

The almost 5 star reviews, the food photos, and the menu with a wide array of ethnic food won us over. This was the best choice and I’m happy the day worked out this way so we tried something new.

We weren’t sure where the restaurant was located, as we followed Google maps so we walked around the building it’s in and finally saw the entrance at the back of the building. You are able to access the restaurant through the market as well. There was metered parking all around the building. Parking was $.50 for 2 hours.

The environment was pretty laid back, you order at the counter using menus that are located to the left table near the ordering station. The seating is limited, there were two table (one large and one small), two tall tables with barstools, and a couch. There was outdoor seating as well to accommodate more people when the weather is nice.

They offer some bottled and can sodas and kombucha on tap (there were 2 flavors). They allowed me to sample one before committing to a flavor, which is so helpful! My husband and I couldn’t decide on just one meal each so we ordered 5 different meals to sample and share. It was such a great decision. All our meals totaled $72, which isn’t a bad price. The meals were reasonably priced, full of flavor, and a nicely sized portion. I wanted to try their soup and their house made kimchi, but they were out of both.

We ordered the street beef #1 bowl and the cashew pineapple chicken bowl - both recommended by the employee. We also ordered the lions mane crab cakes, truffle cheesesteak sammy, and the steak lion bowls. My top two favorites were the crab cakes and the cashew pineapple bowl. My husband loved the steak lion bowl and truffle cheesesteak (while we love baguettes sometimes they become a little much for a sandwich as they are harder to chew and thick). There wasn’t something I tried that I didn’t like. When we go back again, I will be trying different dishes as there were so many filled with all my favorite things.

The food was served hot and it all had so much flavor. You can watch your food being made as it’s all one open space. They source their produce locally and offer recycling options. Food options like this seem to be far and few in my experience and in these smaller towns, so hats off to the owner(s) for trying something different and excelling at it.

I’ll be telling all my friends and family that this is a must check out spot!

Second year of coming up to Meadville for my son’s Allegheny football games and always look for a new restaurant to dine in after the game. The Kettle Lake Kitchen is a hidden gem! By far the best food I have had in Meadville. They offer an assortment of bowls and sandwiches … many of which have an Asian flare to them. No fancy ambience but instead kind of a cool and funky vibe. All four of us got different entrees and we all loved the food.

Delicious food! We had the falafel sandwich and Amazonian bowl (sub tofu for chorizo). The bowl was a 100/100 in terms of flavor. For the falafel sandwich, they were out of pita bread and subbed it for a baguette, which made the overall sandwich a lil bit on the drier and tougher side, but the flavors were delicious!

I love Kettle Lake Kitchen. It is one of the best places in Meadville for lunch or dinner. The food is always fresh and delicious. They do take a little while to prepare your food but thats because it's super fresh and they typically only have 2-3 workers working at a time. I've never had a problem with anything here. Great staff!

This place is amazing! We sat outside and enjoyed the afternoon sun , the patio is full of beautiful flowers. All of that AND one of the best salads I've had.
Also my favorite is the kombucha on tap! I also enjoyed shopping next store, very unique gifts and a lot of health food, everything is local.

The manager nick was awesome!! my friend Johnny and I ate there yesterday from nick as a thankyou for us helping load a new grill into his resturaunt. The food was absolutely incredible!! I can't thank him enough for lunch we were both broke willing and hungry! I highly recommend!! the prices were amazing as well! I will definetly be back with some more people next time!!

Delightful little restaurant with a friendly staff. The food was amazing! I got the Piney Bowl, and it was some of the best food I've had recently! Definitely recommend this great place!

A great find in downtown Meadville. My first time and I started simply with falafel on pita, but every detail was exceptional. The crunch factor of the falafel, freshness of the pita, and exemplary lettuce, cucumber, and tomato in a generous portion.

This place is has an amazing atmosphere, the plants everywhere make it feel like a vibe. The food is delicious and is cooked perfectly. 10/10 would recommend the tofu and the locally sourced meat!!!

I love this place! Rightly recommend for all types of bowls. They have unique tasteful food. Our favorites are Steak Lion, Chimi and the Chili soup.

Best place to eat in Conneaut Lake, PA!! The cabbage pad tai was delicious. Their menu is health conscious & locally sourced. They have a small grocery selection that has fantastic finds. I'd recommend this place anytime, especially for date night... BYOB. Definitely going back! I want to try everything.

Super chill I got the sticky rice bowl and I have been here for two months this is easily the best meal I have had since. This is something I would expect at a west coast venue with perfectly fried tofu, kimchi and fresh avocado 🥑 my belly loves me right now!

We had Chili and Peanut Chicken. The food was delicious. The workers were very friendly.

I had the pineapple chicken cashew bowl, it was amazing! I'm looking forward to going back.

Been going to this location to eat since the 1980’s. No longer the rudimentary foods of old.

What you will find here now is food with exemplary balance and great flavor. Visited for the first time today and tried the fried rice. Positively outstanding! Precise proper use of herbs. Rice was cooked perfectly. Flavor profile was beyond my wildest expectations.

Great atmosphere and mega positive vibes....

So awesome to have some culinary differentiation! I’ll be back!

Amazing😍. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it is so delicious. I am so happy to have something this awesome in Conneaut Lake. The staff are super nice and informative. You can stop in and get food to sit and enjoy or take it to go. It is worth your time to stop in!!!
