We have never been to a campground like this one. The people are so friendly. Everything is so nice and calm. It's beautiful. They help you any chance that they can't help you that this summer is changed my life so I thank them. And if you want that experi, you need to go to dogwood acres and tell them lisa said to.

This was our 1st time visiting and wow what a great family friendly staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. The campground can be tight in some areas for larger RV's(40'). The seasonal residents are all friendly and the campground is surrounded by beautiful country views. We will be back next year.

Great place to bring an RV to, wonderful people that own the establishment. Neat little country style store with some necessities. You must visit the room of heroes awesome as veteran it means so much. We rented a few RVs to sleep in after my son got married locally. Great place superb people.

Lovely family campground. We visited on a raining fall weekend but everyone was so friendly, activities were fun and welcoming. Cant wait to go back in summer season.

Dogwood Acres is a clean, quiet little campground that prides itself on being family oriented. The employees are very friendly and extremely helpful. They have plenty of amenities and activities including a pool as well as catch and release fishing. There was a bingo game going on last night when we were walking out dogs and everyone sounded like they were having a blast! The place is only 30 minutes from home and we only stayed the weekend but from what we saw we will be going back again.

Great campground! We stayed in a cabin, and it was clean and worked great for our family. There's a large playground that our children loved playing on, plus we spent time swimming in the pool and fishing in the pond. The owners were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again!

Plusses for Dogwood Acres. Very nice folks who own/manage the campground. Very quite, even on weekends, Nice camp store with all the essentials and more. Game room for the kids. Breakfast & lunch are available on the weekends and very reasonably priced. Dog park. Disc golf looked popular. 100% payout Bingo on the weekend was F U N! Pool was great. Most campers are seasonal residents.
Negatives: temporary camp spots with full hookups are much to close together. Everything has a charge, even a day visitor. Horseshoe pits haven't been used in many years. I didn't see anyone play shuffleboard. Paddleboats are fun for 30 minutes. Pedal cart rental is too expensive. Golf cart rental is $50/day. Shower house is ok could use a bleach bath on those mats everyday and a exhaust fan.
Recommendations: There looks to be lots of room for expansion of temporary full hookup spots which could be very lucrative for the owners. This one's a stretch but if a par 3 golf course were built it would be a huge attraction. There appears to be room for it.

Pool, fishing lake quite. I came for a month due to working in the area and are staying a 2nd month for work and vacation time

Awesome - they made me feel like part of their own family. It was a perfect break from my drive back north from Florida. As a newer camper I got some great tips from a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They even helped me plan the next leg of my trip. Their store was well equipped as well, having the parts I needed to fix my hot water tank! I definitely recommend staying here, I know I'll be back in the fall as I head back south!

Enjoyed spending the Easter weekend at Dogwood Acres. It is a quiet, serene setting. There is beautiful pond that you can fish at, playground, pool and many other amenities. They hosted Easter egg hunt for both kids and adults. Our site was spacious and backed to woods and a small stream. We were in site 70. We did lose power several times. However, it would come back on after 30 sec or a minute. This time it was not an inconvenience for us as we weren't using heater or ac. The owner suspected that our surge protector may be bad. Regardless we had a great time and would recommend it. It is a beautiful campground and the owner and staff are helpful and friendly.

Really friendly people; had a blast at bingo nite, really good food at Saturday breakfast; very clean site, but could have been a bit more level. Wish we would have had time to enjoy the pool.

When we arrived on 8/26 we were greeted by Kristin and Lucille. They are some of the most friendliest people we have dealt with when checking into a campground. They made sure we had all the information we needed and if we had questions later they were there to answer them. This is our favorite campground to date and this was our first time there. Looking forward to going there again and hopefully at some point becoming seasonal campers there. The only unfortunate thing was that we didn't get to meet Charlie but hopefully will next time around. Thank you to all that work and run the campground it was a great experience.

I want to give big thank you to everyone that owns and works there. Yesterday woke up to flat tire on tt due to nail. Only to find whoever put spare on mount from new cross threaded nuts and we couldn't get them off. I'm sorry I don't know Kristin's husbands name but him and Lucille loaned us tools to get the nuts off. Again. I want to say thank you for all your help and can't wait to go back next year

Staff super helpful and accommodating. Facility is clean and very well-maintained. Still a family-run campground and not part of a big corporation. Plenty of on-site amenities (ie pool, propane, etc.), gated access for after-hours, 'in the country', peace & quiet without livestock odors nearby!

This was our first trip to this neat, family ran campground. Being early in the season, not all of the facilities were open.
The grounds are well maintained, and RV spaces are not crammed together as other campgrounds.
Hope to make it back later in the summertime to enjoy the pool.

We loved this campground! The idea of having campers already on the lots for rent is genus! We traveled from Michigan to attend the Corvette show in Carlisle PA and picked to stay at dogwood acres , and it was the perfect spot! We rented lot 73 the camper was clean and well kept, the campgrounds was quiet and peaceful and centrally located. Christine was so helpful with showing us the best route to the car show and advice on places to eat. We even had an issue with the camper at 1am and she came right over and helped! Very friendly staff, great environment, we loved it and will be back next time we come thru PA!

We came on location w a 44ft 5th wheel. They accommodated us and when my husband took off the back awing, the son-in-law helped with my husband's issue.
Exceptional service, friendly, the best ever family owned campground in the area.

We loved our recent week long visit at Dogwood Acres Campground. Kristin the campground manager was very accommodating, with giving me a gate access card to come back to the campground late at night after coming back from work in Newark. Lucille and Charlie the owners of the campground are very much involved with the activities each day and have a Military-9/11 memorial/honor room there in the main club house that is beautiful. The campground is extremely clean, quiet, and family oriented. Our 2 year old loved their huge playground in the center of the park and it too was very clean, no spider webs or trash on the equipment. The park is surrounded by beautiful family farms with pumpkins, corn, and apple orchards. Kristin at the front office has so much information about the local area that there is something for everyone. We went to an old frozen custard shop one night and an apple orchard and sunflower farm the next day. If you have any doubt about staying here, don't. This is a very clean family oriented pet friendly, RV resort that offers something for everyone.

Very nice campground and very friendly staff. This was our fourth visit and the staff makes you feel like you are part of their family. We will continue to go back once or twice a year. We really like the number and variety of books available in their rec room.

We had an amazing time. Although the staff deserve a vacation, they treated us like family. The site we were own had their camper. It was site 2 right behind the office. Even the fishing 🎣 in their pond was great. Thank you for an amazing time. We will be back!!!!
