Baker's Diner

So excited to have visited this place. Husband has driven by for years and notices the parking lot is always busy so we stopped and so glad we did. Lots of variety made it hard to decide what to order my first visit but I went with open face roast beef. So good! And a lot of food. Hubby went with breakfast food. We'll be back to enjoy this great value and try something else! (Atmosphere got 4 stars because it was surprisingly loud but not a show stopper.)

We always try to eat here when in the area. It is fine dining for a mom and pop place. The food tastes like home cooking, reasonably priced and served by staff that make you feel at home. Please notice the desserts. If you find yourself on 15 in Dillsberg, PA, stop by.

Excellent place to eat. We all had something different, and everything was great. My daughter had the Bakers Chicken special which was fantastic, it had crab meat on it and melted in your mouth. My husband had the liver which he only gets when we go out, and he said it was some of the best lover he'd eaten. I like my crab cake and my son-in-law loved his chopped steak. The sides were as good as the main meal. The desserts are to die for we had four different desserts all of them were fantastic. We don't live in the area however when we come back through this area we will make it a point to stop by to eat again.

Great service and fun family atmosphere! The highlights for us off the menu were the deliciously flavorful vegetarian vegetable soup, the traditional gyro, and the cannoli from the dessert case. We would definitely go back when in the area again!

Another great diner to visit! Love diners, always look for one verses a chain restaurant.. We have been here many times over the last 15+ years. Great place, very clean & beautiful dining areas. Fast and friendly service and of course amazing dishes! Too many to list. Look forward to stopping here whenever we're in the area.

Sat at lucky table #7. Our server was excellent, food was tasty. Didn't eat the healthiest but a day to eat whatever.
Sweet potato fries were soft, chicken tenders were tender, quesadillas were good.

I went here for the first time this morning. Got the breakfast special which included pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. I asked the waitress to upgrade my pancakes to pumpkin ones and to my surprise I got the special stuffed pumpkin pancakes. Everything was fantastic! I will definitely be back for breakfast again. Our waitress Lorie was very nice.

As a side note, all the desserts in the cases near the register look absolutely delicious, and such a nice variety.

I’ve been coming to Baker’s for years and love it! They are the best diner in the Dillsburg area for sure. They have a pretty large menu with great offerings for breakfast, lunch and dinner! This particular trip, my son, and we had breakfast and had the western omelette with hashbrowns, pancakes and the big breakfast. The service was great and food was spot on like it is most of the times. When doing for lunch I highly recommend the loaded chili… delicious! We will be back for sure!

My wife got a Elaborate salad and and I enjoyed a spicy bowl of Chile. Our waitress could not have been nicer and all employees smiled mild and we're glad to be there serving us. Baker is a winner!

Most authentic diner I've found this far west.

Classic too much food at a great price point, very quick service (example: steak included salad and two sides)

I still don't understand how diners make the food so fast... Worth checking out.

Stumbled upon this place while on a random drive north. With no expectation or knowledge of the area, we decided to take a chance and we were so glad we did. Conveniently located right off the main roadway, the diner has both a traditional diner feel while stepping it up a notch. Interior design was pleasing and appropriate. Menu had a large selection and prices we deceiving for what we got. The low prices on the menu were not at all indicative of the portion size. We ended up with enough food for dinner that night due to the amount we got. Needless to say, it was a major bang for our buck. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Can definitely see myself going back.

Ok. This is me and my family's favorite place to eat. The restaurant is beautiful inside. So clean. You walk in and see the heavenly display of cakes, pies, cannolis, pastries, and other dessert options. The staff are friendly. You are seated quickly and a waiter or waitress takes your order quickly. They have a lot of food options for breakfast lunch and dinner. Everything I have eaten here is delicious. Large portions and for a great price. And if you have room, the desserts are the best in the mid Atlantic region. Me and wife enjoy stopping in just to get a dessert. One of the few restaurants my kids beg to eat at. Plenty of parking, easy to find right off of Rt. 15. If you are hungry and want a quality meal at a reasonable price and great service Baker's is a must stop. I will warn you, once you eat here you will be hooked and come back a lot.

Bakers Restaurant offers a huge variety of meals to fit every taste. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff,and great food. Their desserts are amazing, eclairs are amazing.

Fast. Hot. And everyone got their food at the same time and every order was correct.

Authentic Greek food plus very extensive menu, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and entrees. Choice of 4 soups! Generous servings. Three dining areas. Large dessert selections. Senior menu with quite a few choices.

Really great waiter and dining experience. Good prices, hearty servings, incredible fried potatoes!

Had a crab cake and it was very good. Good service and a typical diner which we like. Will be back.

My husband and I ate here Sunday morning. My husband had the eggs and scrapple which were PERFECT. eggs over easy and crispy outer layer on the scrapple. I had the western omelette filled with onions, green peppers and ham. Delicious! All came with home fries and toast. Also had a side of bacon. So good!

We often make Bakers a stopover several times a year on the way home back to Northern Virginia from family visits in upstate New York. The food is great, the service excellent (Zachary was our fantastic wait staff on this visit) and the establishment is clean and well-lit.

Excellent breakfast, and service. Very clean, nice location. Good scrapple too. I look forward to a return visit.
