The Goddard School of Newtown Square

We absolutely adore the Goddard School located in Newtown Square, PA. When the pandemic hit, our daughter didn't attend any daycare until she turned three years old. Consequently, her social interactions were limited, resulting in shyness and frequent bouts of tears when she first started at Goddard School. However, the teachers at this school displayed unparalleled care and patience. They showered our daughter with attention, helping her blossom in this brand-new environment.

Notably, our daughter has formed numerous friendships at the school, some even spanning across different classes. Over the past two years, we have witnessed an incredible transformation in her language skills. From being a non-English speaker, she now confidently engages with stories independently, thanks to the school's exceptional learning experiences.

During the recent graduation ceremony, our hearts swelled with pride as our daughter stood on the podium, representing her entire class while reciting the graduation poem. This moment encapsulated the incredible growth she achieved at Goddard School. We cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for the school's modern facilities, vibrant learning environment, and, above all, its exceptional teachers and management staff.

One aspect we truly appreciate about the Goddard School is its commitment to keeping parents well-informed about all school-related matters. Their consistent communication has fostered a strong sense of partnership between parents and the school community.

In summary, we couldn't have asked for a better place to provide our child's early education experiences than the Goddard School. It has surpassed our expectations in every way, offering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our daughter to thrive.

Our daughter absolutely loves going to school! Her teachers and administrators have become an extension of our family as they have created such a fun nurturing learning environment. The curriculum is helping her develop her emotional and social skills which will set the foundation for her learning as she gets older!

Kavita and her team are absolutely fantastic! Our daughter has loved her time at the Goddard School from start to finish! Each teacher that my daughter interacted with was genuinely happy to see her. Everyone knew her name, took a personal interest in her and exhibited a true love of children. The cleanliness, level of professionalism and care that they showed had been impeccable. This school exceeds expectations and is everything a daycare/school should aim to be!

We are parents to two kids attending Goddard Newtown Square. Infant and a preschooler. I cant say enough good things about this school. Excellent environment, qualified and caring staff, beautiful setup, welcoming to diversity and a very engaged and attentive owner who runs the place. Yes, curriculum, cleanliness, tuition, and all those things matter - and you won’t be disappointed here. But, the teachers and management here are the very best. They genuinely cares about each and every student that comes through the doors of the school. Each and every teacher we encountered through our years were/are awesome. I can peacefully do my work knowing that my infant is not only in a safe place, but also receiving all the extra hugs and love; my preschooler is forming trust and friendship with other adults. Not only did I feel they cared about my kids, they are also very open to being inclusive and diverse in there curriculum. Throughout our time, the school listened to my feedback and always addressed my concerns. My preschooler wants to stay in this school forever. I am glad he gets a solid foundation for his future. There are certain things in life (such as the passion these people have for each and every child, their commitment in treating your child as the most important) that money can't buy and this it it. If you are considering this school, don't think twice .

I can't say enough about how wonderful The Goddard School Newtown Square is. My grandson was the first student to enroll, starting at 5 months old, and is graduating next week. Every class and every teacher has been amazing. Kavita and staff have provided the best educational experience, along with the caring and personal attention we all want for our children. I highly recommend this school for the best pre-school experience.

My daughter has been going to The Goddard School for over a year now. We love the school. My daughter looks forward to each day. It's a safe, caring, and clean environment. She is learning and growing every day. All the teachers are highly qualified, warm, and caring. The owner is very hands-on and it makes all the difference. I would recommend The Goddard School to anyone looking for a quality daycare that feels like home for kids.

THRIVING. That’s how I would describe my 3-year old son, who’s been at this Goddard for the last two years. It’s also how I would describe my 7-month old daughter, who’s been here since she was about 3-months old. Kavita and her front office staff are well-trained, caring, flexible and “get it.” The teachers are phenomenal too. Ms. Dana completely potty trained our son - and I’ve heard that from every other parent in that class. She has a system! The infant room teachers, Ms. Nadiyah and Ms. Natashia, made me feel at ease when I went back to work. I knew my daughter was in good - great - hands. Sometimes I just “hang out” in the infant room and spend time with them and my daughter - and I can tell how much she enjoys being there. She literally smiles and coos when we arrive at school and I tell her we’re going to see her “friends.”

Amazing owner. Terrific teachers and staff. My son is so happy there. And they are always learning something new.

Our children were among the first at Goddard Newtown Square. They started when the doors opened at 18 months and 10 weeks old respectively. For the last 4 years we have been beyond happy with the school and our experience with every classroom. It is a safe, academically stimulating and fun environment, where our kids not only learned but thrived everyday.
We were impressed by the well rounded curriculum, focus on emotional development, daily reports and parental communication.
The teachers and ownership take a vested interest in every child. We have seen countless times the personal approach to teaching for every child at every level.
Over the last 18 challenging months, their commitment to the safety of the kids and providing continuous service has been exceptional.
We are so sad to leave but know our children are starting their next chapter with the best foundation possible.

My daughter has been attending Goddard- Newtown Square since she turned one and I am so happy with the care and education she's been given so far. The teachers and staff are warm and loving and I feel so comfortable dropping off my daughter knowing she will be in such good hands. Since starting daycare here her social skills and language have grown immensely. She loves going to school and when I pick her up she always has a big smile on her face! I can't say enough good things about this center and I'm so grateful to the staff, especially the director Kavita for being so kind, patient, and welcoming!

We absolutely love The Goddard School in Newtown Square. Our 3.5 year old has been attending since they opened in May 17. The staff is extremely friendly including the owner, Miss Kavita. My son adores his teacher, Miss Annie, so we are very happy to have found this school when we moved to the suburbs. They’re very engaging with the children and always have fun, new activities going on.

There are so many reasons to love sending your children to The Goddard School of Newtown Square. We have been sending our child there since since the school opened in Spring 2017. Here are the top three things that make this school an amazing place.
1. We really like that it is shiny and new. The school is orderly and clean which lends to the structure and routine as well as important habits children need to start early!
2. We are fulltime working parents and love that Goddard uses an app to keep us informed about our child's day, including personalized updates and photos several times a week.
3. The directors and teachers are down to earth, intentional, and demonstrate a keen and authentic interest in the growth and development of the children.

We cannot recommend the Goddard School in Newtown Square enough... we are only leaving because we are moving, but I am incredibly sad to go. We started our son at 7 months old in the infants classroom, and every day we talk about how much he has learned and grown and developed. He is happy every day when he goes to school, and we love getting status reports throughout the day on how he is doing - pictures of him with his friends, updates on his naps and food, etc. This school has given us peace of mind during a pandemic, allowing two working parents to know their child is safe and cared for during the day. We are especially thankful for the infant classroom teachers - Mrs. Nadiyah, Ms. Yas, and Ms. Stephanie. Thank you all so much for an INCREDIBLE experience, and we recommend this school to anyone looking for exceptional care for their children!

Our family loves The Goddard School in Newtown Square! The teachers and staff are all fantastic and make us feel like we are part of their family. Our son attends the Pre-k program and he looks forward to school every day! We highly recommend this school.

We couldn’t be more satisfied with the care our little one receives here. The owner is so loving and treats us like a part of her family. I'm beyond impressed with her ability to remember not only every child’s name, but the names of older siblings and their parents! It’s evident she cares deeply for the kids in her care and goes above and beyond to create an exceptional environment for our child to learn and grow. The things we love most about the Newtown Square Goddard:
1.) Incredibly diverse staff and group of children, and this diversity is celebrated throughout the year including recognition of holidays, etc.
2.) The cleanliness of the facility. It’s a beautiful new building with huge classrooms and two amazing outdoor play areas, plus they’re in the process of building an outdoor classroom that incorporates a garden where last year they grew vegetables!
3.) The additional activities built in to the curriculum (yoga and music classes) and Soccer Shots is available during the school year at the school (so no extra running around at night/weekends!) and fun event throughout the month (PJ day, Phillies day, etc)
4.) Lunch delivery service-a HUGE convenience for this working Mom!
5.) The most important point is that my little one LOVES going to school-he loves his teachers and we feel confident that he is loved and cared for while he is there!
We would/have highly recommended this school to our friends without reservation!

We love the Goddard School in Newtown Square. The teachers are so warm and loving with our son and care for him like their own. He is getting a wonderful education and learning something new each day! The owner, Miss. Kavita and Miss. Trish know all of the children and parents by name and it’s it a lovely community to be a part of!

We enrolled our daughter at the Goddard School in Swedesboro, NJ when she was 9 months old and have been happy parents ever since. They have exceptional standards for learning, cleanliness, and daily reporting (with photos) that is hard to find. I will never forget how relieved I felt when I reserved the last spot at Goddard-Newtown Square, just before our move to Media. Trish and Kavita are always courteous and kind. We are so grateful for their special caliber of teachers whose enthusiasm and patience knows no bounds. The lesson plans and activities are so creative and well-structured. They provide an AM and PM snack so you never have to worry about them feeling hungry. Just when we thought they couldn’t get any better, they started a hot-lunch service which is a huge time-saver. Our daughter’s social skills and vocabulary development can only be described as exponential, thanks to Goddard-Newtown Square. I try not to think about the day she will have to leave this wonderful nest!

Our daughter has been at the Goddard School Newtown Square for over a year and a half and we cannot say enough about how happy we are with the school, the staff, and Kavita and Trish! Our daughter has learned so much, loves her teachers, and looks forward to going to school everyday- thank you all for your dedication, nurturing and commitment!

My son was enrolled in Goddard while he was still in my belly and started there on the first day the school opened. He has been there for 2 years now and he LOVES it! He is thriving in his development, the teachers are all amazing and caring and kind and the owner not only knows every child’s name but knows every parents names as well. That’s impressive! This school has become our second home and I could not be happier with the decision we made.
As for the negative reviews on here (all 2 of them) these people are NOT a part of this school and do NOT send their children here. They parked on a private property and for the safety of the children were asked to leave and refused. If you want a real review ask the actual parents for a recommendation. We ALL LOVE IT!

When we moved to Philly from Chicago we were very worried whether we were going to find a good daycare for our toddler. We are extremely happy with our decision to go with Goddard-NewtownSquare. It’s a very clean facility, teachers are great, and the owner is amazing! We love it and so does our toddler.
