Wow. What a great time. Service was amazing. The owner Tony really put together a biblical staff here. Everything was so delicious I left so full [like Sean]. I can’t wait to come back!

The interior looks “original” and the food taste great and fresh!! I understand the pan that my baked clams were baked on is the original pan made in the 60’s! AMAZING! I had a Patron Margarita which wash refreshingly flavorful and I will be back for another!! I had the Baked Clams, Stuffed Mushrooms, and the Lobster Tail entree with Garlic & Oil Pasta. All were DELICIOUS! Thank You Tony and Team! McKenna was the best!

Had a great dinner per usual! Clams are delicious along with the crab legs and clam chowder. Stephanie was our waitress and she was amazing! The chocolate cake, lemon cake and cheesecake are good, too. Best service we’ve had in a restaurant in a long time, will definitely be back soon.

Love, love, love the Clam Tavern!!! Their Seafood is always fresh and top quality. I’ve been going here for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal yet. Their Fried Shrimp is stellar - my favorite! Owner really cares about delivering a tremendous dining experience and it shows. Staff is very nice, quick and also caring.
Pro tip - order the Crab Imperial as a $7.99 side for a LOT more food.

One of my favorite seafood restaurants in the area. Every dish is incredible. Fresh raw oysters and delicious entrees. Looking for great drinks and even better food? Clam Tavern is the place for you.

This was my second time here and it was just as good as the first. I got the swordfish and crab orzo special and it was spectacular. The service is amazing - so friendly and competent. The owner blew his conch shell horn in honor of our party's birthday. Everyone loved their food and it came out perfect the first time and all together.

This is *the* place for a good seafood and steak dinner. Relaxed, old school charm….attentive service…and, exceptional food. What else could you want?
We had a shrimp appetizer special, fried mozzarella, Caesar salads, NY Strip steaks with crab imperial, baked potato, and broccoli. Oh, and the bread! Steaks were a perfectly cooked medium.
The raw oysters looked perfectly shucked - don’t miss them if you love oysters.
Make reservations because they get busy…for good reason. Tony, the owner, is the best in the business - always doing whatever needs to be done: busing tables, greeting customers, singing happy birthday with his conch shell, and, I’m sure, working the line when when the kitchen gets busy.

Wow! Just wow! Everyone who we encountered from our waitress to the owner were super friendly! The food was PHENOMENAL!!! And they went above and beyond to make sure my mother felt special on her birthday. We most definitely will be returning. I HIGHLY recommend coming here.

In town for a concert, had dinner here. It was AMAZING. Fresh, hot, tasty - overall, great dinner. And the staff was SO friendly. Would easily drive the 3.5 hours back just for dinner!

This place is terrific! I had the broiled combination plate with mahi, shrimp, scallops and crab… woah! So much great food and for a fair price. Would absolutely go again if I am ever in the area.

As Soon as my plane from Colorado lands in Philly, my dad takes me to the Clam Tavern. I get the Salmon Oscar and it's just the most delicious dish. Every last bite is perfect. The staff is really friendly and attentive. I even got my clam tavern Tshirt this time. Thank you.

This place was so good the food was fresh and delicious a little high in price but it's worth it money well spent. It gets crowded so reservations is a must the drinks are good not watered down staff was nice table room was small but other then that I loved the food and can't wait to go back

Great food!! Great service. The seafood is always fresh the portions are generous and the wait staff is excellent. We love it there.

The pictures and reviews helped make my decision in dining here. I visited on Wednesday and dined around 6pm. I did not have to wait for seating and my drink and dinner orders arrived fairly quick. My waitress Phyllis is such a polite woman and the staff here seems to help each other out. I'm also unsure of staff member Tony's title, but he seemed in charge and was VERY accommodating to guest needs from the obvious of food to regulating the temperature for dining comfort.

The restaurant is setup in a bi-level manner and has the feel of an antique ship. Seating varies from chairs at the bar, to tucked away romantic dinner for two, or the group seating for parties of four or more.

I enjoyed the baked clams and the olive oil based seasoning in them that went perfect with my bread, which was surprisingly fresh. My steak was....may I say, cooked to perfection, and the 8oz lobster tail was worth every penny.

The Clam Tavern is one of our favorite restaurants. We never had a bad meal or service here. The (famous) baked clams are the best around.

Excellent dinner at this old school Clifton Heights staple. Busy for a Friday night and we didn't have reservations so we opted for the bar which is first come first serve so if you want a table reservations are recommended.

Bartender and barback provided us with phenomenal and attentive service. I ordered the filet special with mushrooms, crab, sun-dried tomatoes in a creamy marsala sauce and my husband got the ribeye. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and gave that perfect melt in your mouth bite.

We will be back to the clam tavern. Old school divey vibes but with excellent food and service.

What hasn't been said about the legendary Clam Tavern already? A Delco mainstay for decades, it was a date spot for my parents when we'd visit my grandparents in Media and Collingdale (RIP Clam Tavern II). The baked clams are absolutely mandatory (I ordered 2 dozen), the steaks are A+ and the lobster tails are perfectly sweet. The bartender mixed a delicious Moscow Mule which I ordered on a whim (I'm a beer guy). Girlfriend loved the coleslaw and I'm never disappointed by their baked potatoes. I always bring a cup of their New England clam chowder home to compliment whatever is in my doggy bag the next day.
