Drexel MSA Muslim Prayer Room

The Drexel Muslim Students Association (DMSA) has established a Muslim Prayer Room at Drexel University to support the spiritual needs of its students. This prayer room is open at any time for students wishing to conduct their daily prayers on campus. It also accommodates congregational prayers such as Jummah and Eid prayers. The DMSA, since its inception in 2010, has been committed to fostering unity within Drexel’s Muslim community and promoting inter-faith communication. The prayer room is part of this mission, providing a dedicated space for worship and reflection, helping Muslim students maintain and strengthen their Islamic identity while they develop academically and professionally.

A great community where people are very respectful and easily approachable. The praying room is always clean and has a pleasant smell. The DMSA hosts a lot of events, and we pray jummah at North Hall every Friday at 1:15.

Very nice place, everything is well organized there and clean. There is a nice wadhu area. It is a great place to pray and rest. Many Qurans and other books are offered there. Also, Quran classes are held there weekly.

Phenomenal area as well as a great community that is welcoming. They offer a salah area which is a tidy place to offer prayer and read Quran.

Very convenient place to pray and the brothers there led the prayers very well. There is also another section for our Muslim sisters to pray as well.

For Friday prayer please go to North Hall with valid ID.. be there by 1:30 to attend Juma

What time and where exactly is Jumuah prayer and can non-Temple employees attend ie from adjacent hospitals (CHOP/UPENN)?

It's a beautiful place, always clean with many necessities such as the Quran, Islamic books and modest clothing.
