I walked in here to pick up food for an UBER eats order and I didn't want to leave. Whatever was cooking smelled so good, and the lady behind the counter was very nice.
I was tempted to cancel my Uber eats order and sit in to eat... that's how good that food smelled. I see why the person ordered from this place despite living all the way in South Philly. I will definitely be back to try the food here because if it smells this good I know it's gonna taste amazing.

I love it. Delicious home cooked meals big enough for 2 or 3 people. The ox tail is tender, bone sucking succulent, and flavorful. The rice & peas and cabbage are perfect and not over salted and sweetened like like some other places I know. The prices are fair.

I am Jamaican, We Just moved to the area where the restaurant is located and stopped in to order curry chicken and beef patties. I also ordered the Jamaican rum cake and everything was better tasting than what I’ve had in several top Jamaican restaurants in Philly. Their Great customer service is a plus for me in addition to the great tasting food. My family and I will certainly be back for more, when I’m not cooking at home and in the mood for my staple island dishes.

For a Jamaican take out restaurant, it's fabulous. The food is hot, ready and homemade, and you get a ton for the price. We've tried the Oxtail, curried chicken, and stewed chicken platters, and their sides are super: cabbage with mixed vegetables, mac n cheese, rice and peas (actually beans). We look forward to going each time!

The oxtail was so tender and succulent, the plantains so sweet and perfectly crispy on the outside while tender on the inside, the cabbage flavorful, the patty so flaky it crumbles and then the goodness inside! and the coco cake just a perfect addition. Best meal of 2020 this far!

First time trying Jamaican, the food was delicious. Recommend the jerk chicken!

It was my first time here. It was so delicious! The jerk chicken, plantains, and rice and beans were so good! The sweet plantains and the spices chicken complimented each other so well! I would definitely recommend!

First time there, got the oxtail. It was very good,the place was really clean and the owner couldn't have been nicer. Glad I found this place I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

So happy to have authentic Jamaican food available in our neighborhood. Family owned, nice portions, decent prices.
