Kidz Shooz

This store has one precious thing that no chain store provides. And it comes for free: the knowledge AND knowhow of fitting shoes. My two boys got all their shoes from Luis before they outgrew the upper limit of sizes available here (it goes up to pre-teen).

Discerning customers drive over from neighboring states. It’s a destination.

Went to kidz shooz amidst the not so great reviews and i was pleasantly surprised! Luis the owner was fantastic with my son who has a hard to fit foot…. he had several very nice pair of shoes for reasonable prices , socks, sandals, winter boots, accessories and more…. the store itself is immaculate and organized to a tee.
He even gave my little guy a balloon at the end and made it more of a special thing than as if we would have went to a Foot Locker or Ross type store….
I will definitely be back here again… and soon.

I am so happy to find this place! I have terrible feet after having shoes that don't fit and think it's important for children to start out with shoes that fit. I tried fitting my grand daughters with shoes from Target, Gymboree, etc. but that never worked so I started going to my go-to Stride Rite. That worked Ok but depended on who was there and how much training they had on fitting shoes. I decided to try Kidz Shooz and and I ever glad I did! They have a huge selection of shoes from which to chose and the owner, himself, fits the shoes. I walked out with shoes that fit and I am sure will hold up for more than 2 months.

Went to this store for my son who has a wide foot. The salesman Luis was terrific. He sized and fitted my son with shoes that fit perfectly. Quick service and the prices were fair.

Nice to have such a good kids shoe store in town. The experience of walking to the store is much more satisfying than driving 30 minutes to a mall. Great selection they always have a nice selection of very good quality shoes for the kids. They also carry water shoes and accessories like my little pony socks. Be aware that the shop usually is not open until noon. We've walked over there at 11 am and found that they were not open yet. The shop keeper informed me that he opens at noon.

Good selection of shoes, prompt and kind service. My child has shoes that fit well that she loves enough to actually wear them now.

Thet have been in business for yesrs! I took my kids and now grandson. This is not a chain shoe store. The owner is knowledgeable, and professional. He has a huge selection of quality shoes.
I can not speak about credit cards, I use to write checks, then cash.

I bought beautiful navy blue Bopy shoes here for my toddler. They have a huge selection of shoes for kids. I’ll definitely go back to get her more shoes in a few months. It will be a shame if little kids’ shoes stores like this disappear. They are already so hard to find.

Only place nearby I know of where kids shoes are actually fitted.

We have been taking the kids here for years. Luis is always helpful and knows exactly what’s available and what works for each kid.

After Olly and City Sports closed, I was searching for another place to buy shoes for my kids nearby and found Kidz Shooz. They seemed to have a good selection and prices, and I was excited. However, after buying two pairs of sneakers for my 6 year old daughter (Nike and Stride Rite brands), they both fell apart after only two months. As in, the front of the soles completely peeled away from the shoe. On both pairs. My son is 9 and I've NEVER had this happen with a pair of shoes before, ever. I took them back to the store to complain, but since I no longer had the receipt the owner wouldn't do anything about it. I'm very annoyed and won't be back.

My wife called to inquire a specific shoe and I went to pick it up. It turns out it was the wrong shoe both in terms of size and ankles. We asked for size 9 and he insisted on size 8 for the particular brand. Additionally, we bought another shoe for $50. I got home and it turned out the shoe was wrong. We called back in order to return the merchandise and they won't give credit claiming there is a sign in the store (not anywhere clearly posted that I could see.) And it is printed on the receipt which they don't give you after the transaction is complete. (doh!)

They claimed they are not setup for credit via credit card. (Never heard of that!) There is no manager to speak to -- he is supposedly out of state and "impossible" to reach. Merchandise is new and untouched and within less than 30 minutes they won't take it back for a refund. Needless to say, I will be disputing the charge.

I bought keds sneakers there for my daughter who was 9 months and they fell apart. She didn't walk much in them but when I looked at them they looked very old. I guest the shoes must sit for a long time before he sells them. I won't buy anymore sneakers from there.
