The Grind Coffeehouse

The breakfast here was fast and delicious. I had the green eggs and ham and my husband had the firehouse. The sandwiches were made fresh including it seemed having just scrambled the eggs, since they were soft and fluffy. The chipotle mayo on the firehouse makes it. They also make their own chai blend instead of the stuff in the box, which you find at most coffee shops. We will definitely eat here again.

Delicious! I ordered the Mexican mocha and a matcha espresso, absolutely tasty! Such a lovely place, I enjoyed sitting and chatting for a while looking at all of their decor. Highly recommend checking them out and staying a while!

Wonderful stop as we started the second day of our road trip. Had delicious breakfast that included the firehouse sandwich and a mixed berry hand pie. The hand pie was hot and fresh from the oven. Coffees and hot chocolate were exactly what you want. Would love to stop again.

Came in on a chilly afternoon and the barista made my mocha extra cute! I’ve been coming here for the last few years and highly recommend The Grind for people who love good vibes and excellent coffee.

Funky, hip coffee house. The clientele is young and energetic. I'm in my 40's and found the energy....energetic. It's attached to a bookstore and gift shop which is so fun. It's a little louder than some quiet coffee houses but I didn't mind.

Kind, friendly staff and delicious, easy food. Stopped through here on a roadtrip and it was the perfect gathering spot to meet a family member. Spacious and welcoming with easy parking right out front.

This is my favorite coffee house in Cedar. I get a Matcha Latte almost every day and they even use the ceremonial grade matcha which is the premium kind! Love the vibe and the staff are very friendly and kind!

The location, service and coffee was all perfect. This is located in nice looking historic downtown area. It’s connected to a bookstore also. The coffee was really good.

Cute little coffee shop in a cute town! We stopped on our way to Bryce. Got a smoothie and a sandwich. They were fast, kind, and the food was good!

The Grind has come a long way - super good coffee in a great space right on Main Street in town. Used to be kind of quiet 15 years ago, but is very fun and interesting these days. Love the adjacent book store with open-passage between the coffee shop and bookstore. So much of Cedar City is excellent and The Grind compliments Cedar City.

The cozy atmosphere made it the perfect spot to get some work done. The latte was perfect.

The fact that it has a doorway leading directly into the next-door bookstore is interesting and convenient.

Highly recommend this coffee shop for anyone who loves to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book.

I hadn't been in The Grind for quite a few years, I was really impressed with the difference. The atmosphere is great, it is a lot more open and comfortable. Great service, the girl at the register was really helpful and nice. I got the veggie sandwich, that and the potato salad were delicious! Coffee was also pretty good. The Grind is the type of small town coffeehouse you want to go to!

Every town should have a The Grind Coffeehouse. Really enjoyable coffees and lattes featuring Formation Coffee (house roaster?) and Caffe Ibis (Logan, UT). The coffee shop is big, comfortable, and features a good looking food menu right in downtown. A really comfortable space, complete with faux fireplace and an inside entry to the bookstore next door. An old Probat roasting machine is in the back adding a dash of coffee elegance.

Nice, cozy, quite place for a quick breakfast while driving across the country from the west coast to the east coast

Amazing Thai tea latte. One of the best I ever had. Highly recommended. Apart from Thai tea we ordered waffles with berries n whipped cream. I would recommend to choose Nutella with cream than berries. I found berries a bit tangy and had to add more maple syrup instead.
Nutella ones are perfect balance.

People working at this place are super friendly and guided us to most of the places in and around cedar city.
Overall good experience for evening tea.

The food and coffee are delicious;
Excellent service and great atmosphere, we were here yesterday on the way to Brianhead Ski Resort, and we were back again next morning, lol.
I definitely recommend this place!!

the grind's veggie sandwich is the most toe curling culinary delight my silly little tastebuds have ever had the pleasure of feasting themselves upon. I have ascended to a new plane of sandwich after taking just a nibble of this affront to all that is holy for this sandwich is my new favorite thing, i worship this veggie sandwich. i hope when i die its just a sandwich from the grind
