Bible Baptist Church

This little church was founded in 1992, and my family joined the congregation 2 years later. That was one of the best decisions we made 27 years ago. We were the first black members with two young children. I will never forget the numerous times Pastor Lyon's wife (Mary) sitting on a rocking chair, holding our first baby boy in her arms in the nursery (he was the first and only baby then). I just knew we were home! Bible Baptist Church is a very good place to be every Sunday.

Our three children grew up in that church hearing the gospel of salvation every Sunday. I am grateful for my church family, and pastors who are faithful to the word of God.

Hands down the best church in upper Darby. Pastor Lyon is an amazing man. When he preaches u can tell he's spent time going over it and he explains things so we'll. It's not just a dry boring read of the Bible, he includes examples and experiences . It makes you really want to be there.

My church home for many years. Led me to the Lord and salvation in 1994. Pastor Lyons... I'll just say, Of all the souls that I have met in my life, He is the one that I have the most respect for. God bless.
