DABS Utah State Liquor Store #18 Cedar City

Having grown up in California and lived in Vegas, this was new to me, used to going anywhere and buying liquor.
The people there were very pleasant and helpful, I'm not used to being treated like that, pleasantly surprised.

I'm from Rhode Island so this was an interesting experience for me. I'm used to a huge variety of products. What if you want something that the State liquor store does not carry?

Hahaha.....Utah, what a concept. Still doing business like the 1800's.....

This state-run store offers an amazing selection. The other stores like it that I've visited pale in comparison. The cashiers were cool and I'd bet enjoy a little Schnaps once in awhile.

Prices were good, not as good as our Total Wine store back in Tucson, Arizona, however after traveling through small towns in Utah and realizing that our Tequila stock was getting real low, this store was an oasis. They love to hide these stores I think or make them difficult to find. Fortunately a clerk at a KB gas station was helpful and directed me right to it. Just don't count on going out late for more supplies for the party. They all close early.

For a smaller town liqour store, they have a decent selection, and the prices aren't very expensive. I will also say the staff here is a lot friendlier than they used to be.

It's just like every liquor store in most states. Not sure why the reviews seem to care what they named it although dabs is pretty funny as im from Washington and a dab is a weed concentrate hit. If you're over 21 and want to drink, this is where you go. Staff seems nice. Never had an issue.

I’m not used to a state owned business, but I was surprised at how nice the store looked.

Every time I arrive excellent bargains are waiting for me!!! A store employee suggested Scotch to me after a short conversation. I now only buy excellent German beer AFTER high quality Scotch is waiting in my liquor cabinet.

There are thousands of bottles here. Literally hundreds of different wine bottles from all over the world. They have a nice selection of craft beer, whiskey, and aperitifs.

No mixers or ice, but that's an easy stop at Walgreens.

Knowledgeable crew working here. They know their inventory and if they don't have it, they'll advice you what to do. A lot of people don't know rules and regulations for State Owned and Operated Liquor Store.

The store layout is cool. Section seemed to be good. Staff was helpful.

Couldn't find the wine my wife used to love before we moved to Utah, cashier was wonderfully helpful in finding it as well as making good recommendations

Huge selection, competitive prices, very clean and well presented.

As always, they're was a bit of a wait, like 3 to 5 min on the inside check out line. But, as always, it went really quick.
