Cafe Classico

Classical Italian dishes never a disappointment in all of my trips here. Have been both with small group and large group functions. The antipasto combinations have a variety to suit any palate. The pizza is a pleasant departure away from chain restaraunts. The warm fresh Italian bread is a must.

Cafe Classico used to offer delivery before Dash and everything else we have now through IDeliverEats. Sadly, they’re not part of the new delivery apps; but their hot hoagies, soup and pizza were always fantastic.

I keep checking from time to time to see if they join one of the delivery apps…

We love it here! It’s probably our favorite place for pizza. Their sauce is amazing. Their bread is phenomenal. The vegetable calzone is fabulous and so is the eggplant fungatelli with cavatelli amazing.

Found this place while looking for something to eat that was not just another chain. They have a great atmosphere, brick archways throughout the establishment, friendly staff, and as you can see from the photos... large food portions!

The prices are reasonable, a bit more than a standard Italian joint, but well worth it. Most importantly, the bathrooms were clean, stocked with toilet paper, and easily accessible. Also - they have paper towels!

Definitely recommend this place to others for a good lunch spot, or even a cute date night location!

This is definitely a hidden jem. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the prices were so reasonable even my college daughter can afford to eat there on her own. I even ordered a margarita which I wind up sending back 9 times out of ten. Iw was the greatest but it was pretty good!

Cafe classicist in Scranton pa is a nice classic Italian restaurant. All beautiful brick archway and wine bottles make for an enjoyable time. The food is very good. Also great deserts too. 👍

To be honest it's a little pricey but u definitely get what u paid for and the portions are huge. everyone in my party went home with takeout boxes.

By far, the best Italian cuisine in Scranton. The service is excellent and food is top notch. Everytime I order something new and everytime I am blown away. Could not recommend any more highly. I've been going there so often the owners even recognize me. Such an amazing place

Loved the food, was on my way to DC and made a stop in Scranton, a Monday at 3pm, for a late lunch. I was positively surprised. The food was amazing. We had a lentil soup, pizza, salad and pasta. All food was tasty, savory. Service was great.

This is a great place to eat. Relaxing atmosphere with brick walls, muted lighting, and music at a volume that encourages conversation. Our server, Devin, was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He was attentive, but never intrusive. Oh. Right. The food. The food tastes fresh. The recipes are authentic and delicious. The portions are big. We both took food home. The personal cakes for dessert were just right, and rich. We will return.

This place always has great Italian food and pizza.

I honestly will visit anytime. We had sallad, with shrimp. My wife and I felt special. We are given a first class treatment. Staff are friendly, environment is clean and neat. I'll definitely recommend Cafe Classico.

We’re new to Scranton but I think this is our favorite Italian food so far. We’ve been here twice now and it’s been amazing both times! We’ve had the homemade cavatelli pasta, pizza, and cannolis. Portions are great. Excited to come back and try more.

Visited Scranton twice in the past 3 1/2 weeks…, & this place was convenient and the food was delicious. The service was personable and good. Dependable for our needs as out-of-towners.
