I absolutely love Cabalar. Every single time I go there I leave feeling like I just ate the most delicious thing to ever exist. They are consistently a 10/10 for me. The burgers are bursting with flavor and they offer lots of creative combos to choose from. The fries are also a MUST. Perfectly cooked and crunchy. Stop by Cabalar if you’re interested in pleasing your taste buds.

The place has the freshest burgers I've had in a long time, they take the idea of an in-house butcher and really run with it. We got here and it was super busy, and the guy at the counter was very considerate to inform us that it would be a long wait after we ordered. Needless to say the wait was well worth it.

We travel alot and we always get pizza, but this time I was told no pizza. So burgers then! Searching high and low throughout reddit I found Cabalar. Love the smells and the atmosphere, plus the fact they are also a butcher. I ordered the bacon jalapeño cheddar burger and she got the Cuban. Burger: incredibly juicy and flavorful and they don't hold back on the heat 🥵😃. The Cuban was the best I've had outside of Miami. If you're in lancaster and need a burger that hits the spot, just go here. You won't regret it.

Good food. Clean atmosphere. Choices for drinks are basically beer or water. Wish they offered soda. Got the steakhouse burger without mushrooms. Burger patty felt thin so the bun and blue cheese flavors overpowered. But otherwise, delicious 👌🏻

My husband and I stopped in today, 3/24 around 1:00. We got the house special burgers with fries. It was hands down the best burger I have ever had and was cooked to a perfect medium temperature. I would add nothing to it except an additional patty. I’d like to also note that the kitchen team did an excellent job despite being hit all at once. This place is really special! Can’t wait to come back

Really cool spot where you can grab a beer and one of the best burgers you'll ever have. I got the dry aged burger and a side of fries. The burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. The fries are also seriously underrated. I also got the MC Amber ale at the little bar in the back and it was good too. 5 out 5 would come here again.

Can you say best burgers in Lancaster? (and beyond) I haven't been here once when there wasn't a shop full of people enjoying what Cabalar offers. The sweet heat burger is incredible and the fries to pair with it are cooked just right and seasoned well! The atmosphere is great and the gentleman at the register who is always there creates such a welcoming environment! Come here if you're looking for a burger that you'll end up ordering again for the road!

I'm not at all exaggerating when I say Cabalar has hands down the BEST burger and fried chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. In addition to having the most amazing food they are also just the most kind people to meet and work with. Cabalar brought their food truck to our wedding in September and it was honestly one of the highlights of our wedding, our guests could not stop talking about the food, each of them saying they wanted to come back to the area just to eat at their restaurant. I can't thank the Calabar team enough and can't wait to be back for another meal sometime soon!

Love coming to Cabalar. I have yet to order an item that wasn't out of this world spectacular. Burgers are always top notch. Beef Tallow fries and onion rings are delicious. Fried chicken is always so tender, moist and flavorful. I just wish I was a little bit closer and could get around for lunch a few more times a year.

The chicken sandwich was fantastic. Chicken was juicy but also crunchy. The French onion sauce was delicious. Pickle rounded it out nicely. Very nicely balanced.
The sweet heat burger was good but very heavy. Not sure if it was the cheese or what, but a French fry felt like a light break compared to the burger. The meat was delicious. I liked the jalapeño. I would not get that particular burger again though, for myself.
The strawberry milkshake was sooo good. Loved it. 10/10 recommend.

New on my favorite spots in Lancaster! Had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Bánh Mi. Both were exceptionally good with great flavor. Pickles added great acidity to the ranch and dill sauce with the chicken and the Bánh Mi had great flavor and a nice kick with the jalapeños. Onion rings were also fantastic! They do great sandwiches and the focus on doing them right. Will definitely go back!

Cabalar is a spot that is never going to let you down! Every time I have gone it has been a great experience. Something that I have always appreciated about this place is their consistency. It’s a place where the staff make you feel known, and that you might see in a place like New York or Philadelphia. I got the pimento burger weekly special tonight. They stay ahead of the game by keeping their menu creative and coming up with new and creative weekly specials. What really made this burger was that the cheese wasn’t fully melted as it hit the burger, to give it some different texture and maintain some its “raw” taste while still being melted and creamy. I would recommend cabalar to anyone that enjoys awesome burgers/sandwiches/dry aged beef.

This restaurant was recommended by a local and the food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the Pastrami Rueben and the Cuban. Both sandwich’s were full of flavor and delicious. Plenty of seating and it was very clean.

Stopped in after reading other reviews and OMG the BEST burger I've ever had! Seasoned perfectly and the cheese all melted...yum!!! Also, tried one of the local beers and it was excellent. Great choice if you want some delicious food. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular on all fronts. It was even pretty packed and they were very efficient so the wait was not bad.

Usually when I eat somewhere I say so.ethings we're good and others I would not bother to get again, but this is one of those times we would absolutely get it all again.

I am personally a fan of Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and they knocked it out of the park. The pulled pork was great, fries excellent, Mac and cheese surprised the he'll out of me (very good), and farm show grade milk shakes.

I have been here for drinks a few times, but this is the first time we stopped in to eat. I am sorry I put it off so long, will be back very soon.

I’ve been wanting to go here for months and I’m glad I finally did. Not only is this a butcher shop serving food straight from the source, but there is also a Mad Chef stand in the restaurant as well. I normally love my burgers loaded with ingredients, but I wanted to see if the burgers were worth the hype. I ordered the house special that had 2-year aged cheddar, b&b pickle, aioli and onion. The burger is one of the best I’ve ever had and the bun was also really good. The patty melt has a perfect, crunchy exterior to the sourdough bread and the meat/cheese combo blends perfectly. I can’t wait to come back and try the poutine fries.

Absolutely the best burger I've had in my life. Since I've eaten that burger it has dominated my thoughts. I've also have now tried the Pastrami Reuben which is incredible, the poutine is amazing, so are the pork rinds and onion rings. This place does everything well.

Today, we enjoyed the first of many future meals at Cabalar’s. It was one of the best burger meals I’ve ever had AND one of the best meals *PERIOD* I’ve ever had in Lancaster. (I was raised here but have lived in Philly 20+ years)

Every component of the meal was impeccable. (For context: We got The Single Mac, The Patty Melt, Fries, Onion Rings (holy sh*t, the onion rings!) & Chocolate Shake) The staff was kind & the decor—stylish, clean & comfortable.

We can’t wait to come back & try every single menu item.

Cabalar has one of the best burger patties I’ve ever had. The burger was decently sized, well seasoned, the toppings were phenomenal, and the fries paired very well with the meal. My burger was juicy and not dry at all. The bun was soft and toasty, which is something not all burger places do. Truly an enjoyable sandwich. While spending an extra $2 for fries seems weird, it is truly worth it.

The nashville hot chicken sandwich was just okay. Nothing too special stood out. It wasn’t really spicy at all, which might just be my high tolerance to spice. The chicken was fine itself, but nothing special. The chips tasted like they came straight from the grocery store, so nothing special there either. I would stick to their burgers and other specialties here.
