Came to the park for a pickleball tournament. Parking wasn’t too bad but there could be a bit more. They have a water park and toys to play on as well. Lots to do for the whole family.

I walked for an hour and the fall trees are so relaxing along with the sunset of the afternoon.
It's always been a great place to walk any time of the year!

I love everything about this little park and pool. Friendly, well trained, staff. Great pool for s refreshing dip on a hot day and only $3 pet person for 6 hours! Planning to go every day for the morning lap swim when we move to Yakima in September.

Nice place, has a pool with lots of space to walk, have a picnic, or watch the kids play on the toys. The true beauty of Yakima's old architecture is shown in the homes surrounding the park. With the museum right here and a restaurant located where the old soda fountain shop sign is on the museum, it's great this place let's you use the bathroom too!! Lol Yakima joke. If your from the area ya know it's 👍 this is a great place in the winter to slide down the hill when it's fresh snowfall too!! Gotta stop if your in the area and are looking for something to do!!

Fourth and final visit to this fabulous park for the annual Sun Fair XC Invitational ... it’s a beautiful park ... almost like it’s part of an oasis-like area, as it’s surrounded by some neighborhoods with amazing unique and well-maintained homes.

A fun place to play outdoors anytime of year! There is snow sledding or Franklin pool to events and festivals or just a walk, jog or fly a kite. Dog friendly. Family friendly.

Awesome park! Definitely one of my favorite places to visit as far as parks are concerned. It has a lot of space for outdoor activities from as many as one person to possibly 100 or more people. I would say it's definitely a park worth visiting if you've reason to go there. Otherwise I'm not sure if it stands up to muster but for something like playing catch or something like that it's probably a really good place to do it. There is a hill which you can like run up and down if you want or even like you could play baseball I guess it's really good. Definitely visit it should the need arise.

great neighborhood park. there’s an amphitheater, playground, tennis courts, a pool, adjacent museum, soda fountain, old trees, rolling hills, sledding hill, baseball diamond, track, and it’s fully paved so you can do a nice run.

Franklin has it all!

Franklin Park is a great park for many reasons.
1. Great for going for a or run, including hills/terraces for a good workout. And they have a turf track as well.
2. Great place picnic or stop into the local coffee shop attached to the park.
3. Good for families, kids ay area and lots of room to set up your volleyball ball net or play Frisbee, etc..etc...
4. Beautiful setting with many large trees sit under or admire.
5. They also have public restrooms, a BBQ area and a stage for performing arts.
I could go on and on but go check it out and enjoy one of Yakima's nicest parks.

The Pavilion my son and daughter-in-law reserved for my granddaughter and sons birthday was clean (other than gum on the metal picnic table & cigarette butts on the concrete floor) Refreshing to be able to enjoy the GREAT weather out of the sun ( fair skinned family) close to the play area for the wee lads and lassies 😍 Other than the lack of rubbish bins and a public toilet closer than the pool(small children/Elderly/Disabled not readily accessible as-in distance)
GREAT park for family outings, walking the dog and quiet enough for some alone time reading/playing musical instruments, exercise and/or meditation 😊

Great place to visit if you're in Yakima. I often come down here and walk a few laps when I need to get out of the house, and back in my fitness days I would often come and jog it up at the track every evening. With a museum, pool, and cafe built on the park grounds themselves, you just can't go wrong. Definitely an integral part of Yakima as a whole!

Truly a beautiful park! They have a paved walkway that loops the park, as well as tennis courts, pickleball courts, public swimming pool (with a slide), a nearby track and field and a stage where they host a variety of artists/bands during the summer months free to the public. This is one of my favorite parks in Yakima.
