ShopRite of Birney Plaza

I've never reviewed a grocery store before, because what is the need to really? If you've seen one you've seen them all. But I recently found an item they sell here that sets them apart from ALL the other food stores in the area. Ready for it? The pre-made sandwiches in the deli section. Now I know what you're thinking, they're usually just squishy bread and soft old ingredients inside. Not here. The bread is bakery fresh and made here, and all the meat/cheeses are Bullshead. DELICIOUS! So good in fact I had to stop and write a review about it. Lol. Try one. You won't be disappointed.

This review is for Pat, who currently works at the deli and who should promptly be made manager for the value he brings to this establishment. Pat always has a smile on his face and a professional upbeat attitude. My children lovingly ask for him by the name “the cheese man” as he has given them a slice of cheese in the past and most recently he went out of his way to purchase cookies to give out to the children who are shopping with their parents. That is top notch customer service. He also will walk over my order to me if the deli isn’t especially busy and hand it to me. I really don’t have enough good things to say about Pat. My children used to scream if I said we had to go food shopping, now they chant “the cheese man” and smile in the car as we pull up.

Great store. Great variety. Like that it is open late. Love that it always has family packs of boneless, skinless chicken thighs.

Great supermarket. EVERYTHING you need. Fresh fish is wonderful, deli is quite slow, terrific selection of everything. Customer Service girl very helpful in giving us $3.00 credit for missed coupon. Oh ALWAYS CHECK COUPONS (sale prices) as some ate only digital (like our $3 water coupon)

Way better than I thought. Not from this area so I thought it was just going to be a little store but it's huge and had lots of selections! I highly recommend coming here

Awesome place to shop with wonderful employees. We recently celebrated our daughter's birthday. Due to COVID, we couldn't celebrate with a party but wanted to do something unique and special for her. The bakery staff helped us bring our idea to fruition. Thank you so much for making her day a little more bright. 🌈

Beautiful, well kept store. Like the BOPIS option to shop from home. Employees seem to be treated well, which shows in their pride of how the store is visually presented. Love coming here to shop

*** 1 year later I wanted to update. The shop from home Department is outstanding. I shop bi-weekly for my home groceries and they’re always great.Today I happened to be shopping for work- and the team here went ABOVE and BEYOND. Thank you Sarah and Jennifer for everything you’ve done today!!!

I was gathering the ingredients for a special recipe and the produce employee went way out of her way to help me. I didn't even ask for help. This sort of customer service seem to be becoming extinct. I couldn't be more pleased and thankful. Thank you Brittany . My recipe came out great thanks to you.

My new favorite place to Grocery shop! I’m not big on shopping much anymore, but I love coming to this store. Everything is always stocked nicely, and the store is clean. The cashiers are always very helpful & nice too. This is really the only place I go food shopping now, and I’m content.

I go to ShopRite almost every Tuesday . Customer service Jackie and Bob our wonderful I have stood there and listened to people belittle them and great them because they don't have an item they are looking for. That is not the customer service people fault that's a supply chain issue none the less they stand and take it with Grace and kindness and never say anything. I think if it were me I would be going over the counter at some of these people or just generally nasty and rude. On the upside the store is always clean the people are more than willing to help you find something and if you don't find what you're looking for are glad to give you a rain check to use the next week. For the most part the parking lot is kept very clean of cards I'm sure there is an issue and getting people to work at such a job however the man they have there now his name is Lee does his best to keep everything neat and tidy out there. I would recommend the store to anyone let's remember to show a little bit of kindness they're doing a tough job so that we can go shopping. A please and thank you go a long way. Remember patience is a virtue everybody's trying to get out fast you're not the only one there do you want to get out fast go early in the morning otherwise wait your turn like everyone else the store itself is clean the manager Vince is very nice. After a while you get to know the employees by name it's like visiting an old friend every week try it out you won't be disappointed and Tuesday is senior day 2

Very clean and organized store. Aisles are very spacious, making shopping easy. I was very surprised by how polite a nd helpful all the employees were, I was greeted multiple times. Highly impressed, and definitely recommend. Great deals definitely recommend you sign up with the store card and send digital coupons to your card..lots of savings!

I was there today to receive my Covid vaccine. The pharmacist, David, was fantastic. Professional, efficient, compassionate (I hate needles) and so very understanding. I cannot say enough about how completely impressed I was with him. He’s an asset to your pharmacy! I hope that someone reads this and let’s him know! 😃
