This is a little Hidden Gem! This takes me back to my childhood in Idaho we had a college in and out place and this is what it was like this food was so good. If I am ever backing you out, this is where I'm going to stop. Their milkshakes are so thick and so good. I also suggest the cheeseburger and this sweet potato fries.

Still one of our favorite places. We go to the one off Lincoln.
Is it perfect, no. Is it healthy, probably not. Does it have dipped fries that are killer, YES! The shakes & hard ice cream are also phenomenal.
Usually the staff is HS age, sometimes they're grumpy, but most of them are awesome & super kind.

Very clean well maintained. Excellent food. Quick service. Worth driving a little further away from the freeway and crowds!

Stopped in Yakima as I was told the battered asparagus here was worth stopping for (seasonal)... and it was! The burger and shakes were great also. Very traditional American type experience of a drive up burger joint. It was a beautiful day and sat outside in their parkette to dine.

Great signage from the road. Lots of parking. Handicapped accessible. Dine in or take out. Nice building. Friendly staff, great menue. Good food. Great onion rings. Fried zucchini was greasy. Meal all around 9 1/2. Family friendly. Student friendly. Clean bathroom's. Reasonably priced.

Stop it, where have you been hiding all my life? This is the best burger place I’ve been to. We stopped today on our way back from playing in the Naches and good grief! The burgers are huge, delicious, and juicy! The service was wonderful, smiles and positive attitudes. Definitely will come back again and again! (The price is worth every tasty crumb.) I wish I could have snapped a photo, but we were all so hungry and couldn’t stop eating once we took that first bite. (So so good!!!)

An awesome breakfast experience! We were travelling from SoCal back to Canada when we had an issue with our RV. While Aubrey’s was fixing our RV, Crystal recommended Major’s for breakfast.
Our breakfast special number 2, under $10, was amazing. Large portions and included bottomless cup coffee. Service was incredible.
Loved our Major’s experience!

Major's is always great food with huge proportions. I always love the asparagus when it's in season. The Mexican burrito is great in the morning. The Major burger with grilled onions is delicious. The food is fresh so it takes a bit longer but it's worth the wait for sure. Also the shakes are delicious and really thick, peanut butter is my favorite.

Major's is not only one of the oldest restaurants in Yakima, but it is also one of the best restaurants. The menu is extensive, from burgers and chicken to teriyaki and seafood platters, Major's has something for everyone. While the price tags are higher than that of other local chains, the food is definitely worth the price. After all, you get what you pay for and Major's is worth every penny. It is also a great place for kids to eat, and boasts tons of yummy treats. If you haven't tried it yet, don't wait any longer!

I don't like their hamburgers. I only go for fresh peach and marionberry shakes. NOT SYRUP. I won't have shakes anywhere but majors now. Spoiled...

Food is great, workers? A+ customer service and they always get my orders right. You really can’t find a more decent burger joint around Yakima. Majors burgers, have a homestyle taste and the fries are really good especially dipped into the fry sauce. They have good daily specials. The thing that really makes a difference to me, is the quality of customer service here. While your visiting, please pick up the fried asparagus! I recommend this place highly!

Hands down best tomato soup in town or in Washington. I love a good grilled cheese with soup, but this one absolutely exceeded my expectations. Very creamy and delicious. First time here by the way, will be back to try more things for sure

My wife and I ordered the fried asparagus, onion rings, cheese sandwich, and the cheeseburger. My wife even ate the fried asparagus which surprised me. She didn't like the onion rings as much as they weren't as crispy as she is used to. However, I enjoyed the onion rings and all of my orders, thus five stars for my review. Everything was delicious and I was impressed on the amount of food we got for the price. Next time I am in Yakima, I am going back to this place.

This place is always super yummy. We used to just come on Thursdays, when they have the kids meal deal for...$2.99 I think. You can choose a burger, chicken strips, corn dog, or grilled cheese. It comes with fries and a kid sized drink. Very tasty! Now we come around to try other goodies, like the loaded baked potato- which was delicious. They also have hand scooped ice-cream! Definitely worth visiting.

Majors is always a great place to eat a good meal. Though we more often pick up something to take home.

Had the Major Cheeseburger today, and it was GREAT! Their fries are battered perfectly, and I believe they make their own tartar sauce. Will be back again! Thanks for the great food AND service.

This place was fantastic! Found it while on a weekend adventure through the Yakima area. Tons of food choices! Burgers, hotdogs, soup and salad, fish and chips, and a full breakfast menu. We had dinner there. My daughter had the Majors bacon cheese burger which was huge and delicious! Really great burger! I had the Captain’s Platter - freakin amazing. Came with shrimp, scallops, clams and cod. Damn good! Both meals came with a huge pile of the best fries I’ve ever had! The prices were completely reasonable considering the amount of food. I’d add a picture but the food was so good I forgot to take one.

The only complaint I have is that we don’t have one in Western Washington!! So unfair.
