Googled for a good burger near me..this little gem came up, and it was not wrong ! Best burger in some time. I enjoyed a Medium rare Frisco burger with sweet potato fries! It was busy for lunch time, attesting to the quality of food. Several TVs for sports viewing and a really hometown feel in bar and restaurant.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, they can handle a large group seating, price is reasonable. Food is spectacular. Their daily menu is always amazing. It's a hole in the wall place, but an amazing one! I've had everything, and I mean everything on their menu and nothing has ever disappointed me!

This place is great for lunch. The menu is good, the service is great, the food was pretty fantastic too. I found this place online while in town for business and I will be back.

Lucky dog Cafe is a nice little hole in the wall on Columbia Avenue. It’s a great dive bar just to chill and relax. They have really good sandwiches when you come in during regular kitchen hours, but I also like just going in there late at night and drinking. It’s one of the few places in Lancaster that’s open past midnight through the week and the drinks are extremely cheap. We got nine different drinks ranging from beer, mixed drinks and a shot and the bill was only $33. What’s not to love ?

So based on the recommendations of the PA Hot Wing Group on Facebook for our little Lancaster, PA trip....We hit up Lucky Dog Cafe.

We enjoyed our night out, so it was a great recommendation. The bartenders were awesome, funny and attentive. The food was really good. We ordered 1/2 Dozen Wings ($7.95) Hot w/blue cheese and celery, a cup of chicken corn soup, Patty Melt and a Chicken Caesar Salad.

This FB group is here for the wings and I will say they were good. Not "drive out of the way good", but you walk into the bar and order these and they are sufficient. The have the basic sauce flavors (mild, medium, hot suicide and I think a spicy bbq). I actually liked the blue cheese the most. Not sure what brand, but I though it was exceptional. The wings were rather large and crispy. However, I should've asked for the well done because they could've used a little more love in the fryer. Also, I would've preferred a little bit more sauce. I ordered hot (which I never usually do) and it had just a teeny little kick.... I'd give them a 6/10.

The Chicken Corn soup was different. We thought it would be more of a chicken corn chowder soup, but it was more like a chicken soup with corn. Very sweet and we both thought it was a nice surprise.

I got the patty melt with extra swiss and it was really good. Very juicy, and just really happy with it.

Her chicken caesar salad was ok. Why she didn't love it is because they grill the chicken fresh and then put the hot chicken on the cold salad. Me? I don't care, like it either way. Her, she prefers it cold....

It was a fun night at a spot we would've never found!

Place is great. Food is always delicious and drinks are amazing as well.

My family went for lunch and we ate outdoors. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitively go back.

Great neighborhood bar with the best roast beef sandwiches and wings. Daily specials! Varied menu with great prices, generous portions, friendly and attentive staff. Consistently a great place to chill with a lot of friendly folks.

Great food & service! Had the Baltimore pit beef sandwich special, it was 💯🔥. Love this place!

I've been going here since I was a young boy. I can't recommend this place enough. Everything is great here. Can't go wrong.

Food was fabulous! Staff was super polite and accommodating. Never had to wait or look for staff, honestly so many different people served us I'm not sure who got my tip! Atmosphere was relaxed, bar was packed and all the televisions had on some kind of sports. The crab bisque was delicious as was the Chicken Chesapeake! My only complaint..... there were so many delicious options on the menu it took me way too long to decide! We'll definitely be back!!!!

We had a wonderful lunch. The burgers are delicious. Servers were very pleasant. Bar setting.

Delicious roast beef sandwich!

Stopped in two days in a row while I was waiting for phone repair. Nice little townie bar, great service, friendly people. I had the open faced roast beef sandwich and gravy fries, which was really good. I don't live in the area, but if I did I would be a regular.

They were kind enough to invite our lab puppy to sit with us outside. The food was even better than the service! 10/10 recommend! They even brought our dog treats and a bowl of water for our puppy!

One of the best “dive bars” in Lancaster. When you first walk in, it will feel completely dark as your eyes adjust. If you are by yourself you can sit at the bar in front of you among the locals, or, if you are there for lunch just continue walking to the back where it is lit and there are tables. (Watch out for the step up) When the waitress comes order their roast beef with cheddar and horseradish. It comes with either beer battered or regular fries. Soooooo good!

Friendly, fun place with great food, and David was an awesome waiter! "The burger you can't refuse" was HUGE and delicious!

And my fiancé REALLY loved the loaded nachos!
