Hearing about the log Cabin is nothing compared to the actual experience. Upon walking in, you realize there's something special about this place. Reading about the history and seeing the beautifully decorated interior transports you back to a period of elegance. We sat at the bar; the area is gorgeous. Lily the bartender was so good. She was passionate about making exquisite cocktails, and it showed through. The dishes were amazing in taste and the presentation was absolutely gorgeous. The setting was intimate, and we had wonderful conversations with strangers turned to comrades. You don't need a special occasion to dine here, dining here IS a special occasion. Highly recommend.

We had my birthday dinner there and everything was MAGNIFICENT! Kendall, our waitress was great and the food was amazing, but I dinged a star for the dry pheasant breast. It tasted good, just dry. The steak, although, was superb! The atmosphere was also of note...perfect lighting and great live music. I highly recommend!

It was such a delightful place to find. This is the ultimate place to have a romantic dinner. Great food, atmosphere, and service. We had a reservation. I would think it would be hard to get seated without one. They serve beautiful, tasty dishes. We wanted one of everything, but that would be impossible. I tried the stuffed acorn squash in season. I couldn't put my fork down. It was out of this world. Definitely try the pork belly. Their grits are amazing. My husband got the Pork Osso Bucco and said it was the best he ever had. We can't wait to go back. Very soon.....we already made a reservation.

We had a wonderful evening at the Log Cabin and the highlights included Max our server, the setting, which could not have been more perfect, and the food was fantastic. Every dish including the halibut, salmon, and the New York strip were flawless. In the resplendent realm of epicurean delights, the briny raw oysters, which provided the opening act, were served and enjoyed exactly as Max described them. Each was cradled delicately upon its pristine half shell, unveiling a symphony of oceanic opulence that danced upon the palate with a graceful finesse. This gastronomic masterpiece, a testament to the sea's bounty, beckoned us on a voyage of sensory exploration. As each glistening gem was lifted to our lips, a tidal wave of freshness cascaded forth, an ethereal essence that encapsulated the very soul of the ocean. The initial encounter was an ambrosial union of the sea's salinity, an undulating undertow of pristine brininess that caressed the taste buds in a serenade of maritime allure eliciting the sensation of a mercurial kiss from the ocean's depths, an ephemeral embrace that lingered like a whispering tide—a sensory verse that lingered, not wanting to depart and then quickly enticed us to embark anew on the gustatory odyssey that is the briny raw oyster on the half shell. Just as Max described.
The 21-day dry-aged New York strip was without exception. The exterior revealed a flawlessly seared crust, its bronzed countenance concealing the promise of succulence within. Upon the first tantalizing cut, the knife glided effortlessly through the steak without a whisper, unveiling a velvety reddish-pink interior that signaled the pinnacle of culinary craftsmanship. A mosaic of caramelization graced the surface, a testament to the chef’s understanding and control of the Maillard reaction that imparted a symphony of complex flavors. In its medium-rare perfection, this steak transcended mere sustenance, beckoning me into a realm where every bite was a celebration of the carnivorous sublime—a testament to the artistry of preparation and the primal allure of a superbly cooked New York strip steak.
The halibut and salmon were equally well prepared and are not to be easily forgotten. Each, a culinary diva, embodied the epitome of aquatic sophistication, inviting my wife and daughter into a realm where every bite was a revelation and every flavor note an ode to the ocean's bounty. Each presented a gastronomic symphony, where the virtuosity of the chef and the purity of the sea converged to create an unforgettable epicurean experience.
The desserts were a symphony of sweet enchantment. Each presented, was a masterpiece of culinary artistry and unfolded with an elegance befitting the grand finale of a culinary opera. These, like the oysters, were also exactly as Max described them and just as delicious.

Loved this place! Definitely on the pricey/upscale end but we definitely felt like it was worth it. All the food and drinks we had were excellent, the staff was friendly and accommodating, we had a great table right near a window looking into the yard, and the ambience of the place overall was wonderful. I’m hoping this is a place my partner and I will regularly come back to!

I wish I had pictures to share. This was a date so I was immersed in the moment and avoiding my phone! Romantic, easy listening and heart warming live jazz complimented the cozy wood surrounding our high top table. Our waitress was the most pleasant and dear providing great service. Finally, the food was deliscious! I had the oyster appetizer and I wanted seconds! The blackened salmon with crab was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Lastly, I am on a mission now to find a bottle of the house Cabernet! It was excellent. So full that I couldn’t get dessert but just might sneak in one evening to sit at bar just for dessert.

Celebrating our daughter's birthday here was the best choice! Enjoyed the live music afterwards. I had duck confetti salad and it was delicious! And the seafood chowder was the best. Snowcrab legs were a special and grandson devoured them

Amazing meals. First visit to The Log Cabin this evening was excellent. Great atmosphere, quite a history to the place. As for the food, everything from the calamari to the pasta with PEI mussels and scallops was excellent. Our server Christine was outstanding. Great young lady. Want a place to go for a special occasion? Try The Log Cabin.

Absolutely excellent! We had brunch here to celebrate a couple of family birthdays, with it being one of the best meals I’ve had. All seven members of our party agreed their dishes were prepared to perfection. The atmosphere was great for the occasion and the service was spectacular. Alandra, our waitress was top notch; we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. The prices are definitely up there, but everyone agreed that every dish ordered was well worth it. We’ll definitely be back to celebrate many more special events in the future!

Took my wife there last evening and the ambience, wait staff and the food were absolutely one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. Hats off too the management for keeping it a beautiful place and the quality that the locals always expect. Also hats off to the chef for such a diversified menu, from the oyster stew to the Oso Buco, to the great cocktails and of course the Bassett ice cream, wonderful, thanks to all there that made it such a memorable evening.

From the entertainment & lounge to the Fantastic host & Server. Kirk the owner was super pleasant & also Maximino the Server was super charismatic & helpful. We enjoyed all of our food especially the vegetarian option mushroom entree. Bread & butter were very good & The veal chop was a huge hit amongst our table & surrounding tables. Definitely will return. Loved the Log Cabin vibe. Rooms were Special. People in general were so friendly. Glad we visited from Bucks County.

Came back for Max's graduation from Franklin & Marshall College also being his 23rd birthday & the restaurant looks beautiful for Christmas & his food is so consistent. That pretzel plate was delish & his most popular dessert were new adds for me.

This evening I enjoyed an excellent dining experience at the log cabin celebrating my parent’s birthday’s as they are a week apart. When we walked into this historic building there was a live band playing jazz music. Our server Tina was attentive and well versed in her duties. The food was expertly cooked to perfection and delicious. At the end of the night we even met the chef to congratulate him on a job well done. This is clearly an establishment that seeks to provide the best possible experience. 5/5 will dine here again

Such a wonderful experience, loved every aspect. There was live music Friday night and they had a few differnt seating areas so depending where you are you may have direct view for the music or you might hear it faintly so it's not over powering. Very lovely experience for sure, highly recommend and they do have coat service which is wonderful. It is business casual so leave the sweats at home :)

What a discovery. 13 yo grandson and 1 were underdressed for this business casual upscale restaurant but they very nicely seated us in the tavern. The food was marvelous. Staff were superb! Grandson left his hat under his chair. They called within 5 minutes after our departure. I highly recommend this restaurant. I hope to return a few more times.

What a wonderful experience! Beautiful ambiance, delicious food, and great staff. Our waitress Mary Rose was amazing! So cheerful, attentive and helpful. My husband and I went for brunch. It is on the pricier side, but worth it. The dessert sticky toffee pudding was to die for! Highly recommend.

This is an old restaurant with art on the walls in every room. Although it is an imitation of a world famous painting, it can be seen that the owner of the restaurant has artistic attainments…Restaurant food and service are perfect.
