Esther's Restaurant

My family drove from New Jersey to Ohio. We left early in the morning and Esther's Restaurant was our first stop for food and restrooms. The server was incredibly kind and helpful; she was unusually solicitous of the children's needs. The food was fresh and delicious, and the facilities were comfortable, spacious and clean.

We were super hungry and there was a 30 minute wait for another local restaurant. Esther's was quick and super tasty and easy! 10/10 would recommend!

Home style cooking. Was just there 2 days ago and had an open faced turkey sandwich with homemade gravy, fresh cooked pieces not sliced from a deli.

Frist time here, I order the Ruben sandwiches w/fries & chicken, corn rivel soup 🤤 Meal was delicious! Services was amazing, staff super friendly and welcoming. I definitely enjoyed my time & recommend everyone who is driving by to check them out.

This is one of the places that, if you are in the area, you have to stop and try it. It can easily fit 6-7 trailers on the parking lot. My omelet with veggie and bacon was tasty, with no oil in the food. Portion is very generous and cheap compared to other 'franchise' dinners.
I tried waffle with blueberry. I was happy with the choice I made. Waffle was crispy outside and almost hollow inside.

What a lovely hidden gem! Our lunch was great and the service was even better! Such friendly and welcoming people. Our waitress was beyond nice.

Delicious family diner. Large portions. Fast and friendly service. Had the short stack of pancakes (2 large plate size pancakes) and side of bacon (4 large strips) Reasonable prices.

Stopped here with my wife on our way to get a new puppy. Best decision we made. The restaurant is very clean. Everyone is super friendly . And the food was out of this world. We were in and out within 30 minutes which we were suprised since they were super busy. But it was incredible. I highly recommend. Btw I didn't post the pics of there pies. The slices are huge. And the Apple Pie was the best I've ever eaten.

Kudos to the owners for having truck parking! So nice to be able to stop, sit down and have a hot meal that was both delicious and very reasonable priced. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. Now that I found this little gem, I will most definitely stop by again.

One of the most tender and cooked to perfection black diamond steak! Sides were outstanding and chicken corn soup did some justice with cold weather, hit the spot 💯%

Will definitely come back again, this meal was the highlight of the day!

They have the best New England clam chowder. Burgers are very tasty. French fries are crispy. Just the way I like them. Great Chocolate cream pie.

The food was delicious, very good-sized portions. I liked the small-town diner atmosphere. Lots of Bell and Evans Chicken options on the menu!

UPDATED BELOW: Obviously not five-star dining. Dingy, dated, and cheap silverware. Old fashion waitresses that hustle. A local roadside diner/truckstop. Prices are cheaper than doing it yourself. Absolutely fantastic. A piece of Americana. UPDATE- how is this diner able to offer a lunch special $7 for a bowl of soup, fish sandwich with chips and a pickle? While McDonalds charges me $11 for a stomach ache?

Great service, great food at a great price. Seriously worth checking out for yourself!

Tasty food, friendly staff, plus they have room for a handful of 18 wheelers... I will definitely eat here again in the future. Thanks for a pleasant meal after driving up from SC! *edit* Today I enjoyed the spaghetti melt. See the photo. It was delicious. Nicely done burger inside texas toast with spaghetti, marinara and mozzarella on it. Served with French fries and pickles, it was another home run for Esther's!

Olivia was our server and she was wonderful. Our food was delicious. Mashed potatoes were homemade. The roast beef was actually moist roast beef, not dried ot. The burgers were made out of actual ground beef. Everyone in our group lived the fries. The black diamond steak was also delicious and had a really good flavor. Would definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

Best burger I've had at a restaurant. Got the cowboy melt and even the bread was delicious. Whole family was happy. Great lunch stop on our road trip. Highly recommend.

I had an unforgettable experience with my family. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was amazing, quick and efficient. The food was incredible, especially the Blue Diamond Steak and my Chicken Parm was excellent. Loved my sides, I ordered mashed potatoes and French fries. Their pies are homemade and absolutely delicious, the cherry pie was to die for. Would go here again, 10/10!

You might not think to much when you pull into the parking lot of Esther's, bit let me tell you I had one of the best meals ever there. The New England clam chowder was great and their roast beef platter was delicious. It's a definite return whenever I'm in the area.

our lunch was delicious. we got lunch specials and ate every last crumb. the service was fast and excellent and this diner has an 80s home like feel to it and i love it !
