Tequila Mexican Grill & Bar

I've been looking for good Mexican food ever since I moved to PA. This place is definitely added to my list. Having lived in Los Angeles for 25 + years, I know good Mexican food when I see and taste it! I had the Carnitas and my wife the steak enchiladas, and it was very good. Rice and beans were fresh and delicious. I recommend stopping by here and trying it out if you're looking for good Mexican food. Their bar looked pretty good, too, with a lot of different drinks to choose from.

Their fresh Guacamole is definitely my favorite out of any place I’ve tried so far! I had the mango margarita which was perfectly sweet; and my mother and I shared the fajitas. Although it only comes with three tortillas, you can order more. The portion of the meat seems way too much for one person, so it’s the perfect sharing option for 2. The presentation of all of the food was great as well! The menu has a lot to offer so you may be stuck with not knowing what to decide on! Definitely a recommend location if you’ve never been.

Can’t say enough great things! This restaurant may be fairly small but they serve some mighty flavored dishes here. It smelled delicious from the entrance, was super high-energy colors and decor, and very friendly staff. There’s no complaints here. Pricing is fair, flavors/taste is amazing, and the employees were all very accommodating and helpful. Would recommend this location!

One of the best, authentic Mexican restaurants in the county. As as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with glass cases full of Mexican knick knacks and memorabilia. It’s not a massive restaurant but has plenty of seating to serve its purpose, along with a little bar off to the right. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the menu was. All of the food was top notch and the service was even better. Also, check out their drink selection. The margaritas are on point. The only knock I have on this place is the parking is less than ideal as it’s small and directly off Rohrerstown Road.

Good stuff. Fajitas flavored just right. Burritos are a hit. Authentic taste and the smell is spot on. Do yourself a favor and give the Tequila a shot. You won't be disappointed.

We got the queso with chorizo, beef barbacoa tacos, and magaritas. Everything was delicious.

Fantastic choice for food to go along with our monthly meeting. Everyone highly enjoyed their meals. Most could not finish it in one sitting.

It's a small, charming Mexican restaurant. The staff is friendly, kind and welcoming. Our waitress gave us great recommendations for dessert as well and surprised my husband with a sombrero and birthday song. The food is flavorful, delicious, and a party in our mouth. They definitely know how to give their customers a proper food-gasm. It's easy to overlook when you're driving down Rohrerstown Road but don't underestimate this restaurant. They are well worth the stop. Oh and their bathrooms are clean, colorful and beautiful. I highly recommend you eat here.

Absolutely the best Mexican Restaurant I’ve eaten in. Food was exquisite, tasteful and fresh, the waiter we had was super friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any one who will enjoy authentic Mexican food. This place is definitely family oriented.

Quaint authentic Mexican restaurant with a very large menu. All food is made in house like guacamole, salsa and own tortilla chips . We had tacos and they were delicious. The place is decorated so bright and cheerful. Our waiter Niko was sweet and helpful.

This is one of the best bites of food I've ever had. When I ordered barbacoa tacos, I did not expect them to be made birria style. Incredibly rich and decadent. The presentation is also very nice, and every dish is served with these little American and Mexican flags. The guacamole is served right in the molcajete they made it in, which is something I've ever seen before.

It's a bit pricey at about $80 for 3 people (no alcohol, one appetizer), but totally worth it.

Food was delicious I’ve had birria tacos at other places and they put very little meat. This place loaded up my Beef Barbacoa tacos and it was so flavorful. I also never usually like tres leches cake but theirs was delicious not too milky and just the right amount of sweetness.

This Mexican place is really Mexican! The flavors are pretty much close to match the Mexican cuisine. Personnel is kind and polite… and they speak Spanish too! The place a bit small, but it makes you feel cozy. The portions are enormous so be prepared. A bit expensive compare with other places, but totally worth it.

We enjoyed our meal so much here. Jeanette and Sisly were lovely. The food was tasety and full of flavor. We had the guacamole made perfectly. The Barbacoa Tacos 🌮 were delicious and the Carnitas were very tender and I loved the rice and beans. We even took home some of their scrumptious tempting desserts. This place is BYOB, if you feel like having alcohol, just bring your own. The colorful decor made the restaurant welcoming and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

We went back again tonight and this place was even better than the last time. They have a bar inside now and will make any drink you like. I had a really great Mango Mojito. Fruity and delicious. I think they've even expanded the menu with new and exciting dishes to prepare. The service was impeccable. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Our server's name is Nick and if you ask for him when you go, you will not be disappointed. His Mom who also works there is charming and sweet. Their food is fabulous. We got the Taquila Nachos, along with the Barbacoa Tacos (I wanted them this time because my husband got them the last time) and they were outstanding. He had the Seafood Molcajete. It had everything in there. We will see you guys again, definitely!!

We were in Lancaster this evening, and wanted to find a bite to eat - real food, not national chain stuff. We passed by Tequila and came back. It was the best Mexican food we've had in a long, long time, some of the best in PA for sure!!

*Edit: After many months we were back in the area. All of us had some form of burrito or chimichanga. Did not disappoint!! Still some of the best Mexican food we've had in PA!!

Although we got take out, the food was still absolutely perfection. We drove just under an hour to try this place and cannot wait to experience an in-person dining. The carne asada tacos and tamales were out of this world. 10/10

Our waitress Daisy was excellent. She is the only restaurant server we ever had that excused herself before speaking to us as she didn’t want to interrupt our conversation. She was so kind and accommodating to detail as well. As always our drinks and food was presented so well and delicious. Also a fun atmosphere im the restaurant too . Truly a pleasure to have Daisy as our waitress.

It was our 1st time here after hearing from quite a few friends that we should go. We had delicious, authentic Mexican food and the server and bar tender was great as well! The only problem was there were too many choices on the menu! I wanted to try so much! We will be back!

Nom nom nom nom! I cannot express just how good the food was here. Plus the service! Our waiter was attentive and friendly but didn't hover over us either. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend anyone who likes Mexican cuisine to try it. The ingredients are so fresh and we left stuffed.
