Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre

Dutch Apple is a great place to go with family and friends. The atmosphere was good with an exception of having few black people. Most likely it was due to the nature of the show: Ragtime the musical. It was emotional but on the other hand entertaining. Food was delicious and the service was excellent.

This evening my family saw The Addams Family musical. The show was top notch. The meal oh my goodness, God has blessed the hands that made the brisket. It was juicy, tender, melt in your mouth like butter deliciousness. I can't wait to come back for more shows and food.

We really enjoyed the show we saw. The cast was extremely talented and put on a wonderful performance. The food was surprisingly good. Nice selection and very tasty. Great dessert table as well. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. It was an all-around pleasant experience, and we definitely be returning.

I took my daughter for a belated birthday gift to see the Addams family along with my sister in law and mother. We couldn't have been happier. The cast even had a signed card on the table for her when we arrived. We were able to purchase a souvenir Addams family glass as well. My daughter was thrilled when Morticia and Wednesday gave her a special little nod during the performance. A perfect evening, thanks Dutch Apple!

This was our second time attending one of the children's theatre lunches at Dutch Apple and it was just as wonderful as last year's experience!! We got there around 11:30 to get our tickets, the buffet lunch opened at about 11:45. I can't speak of the dinner shows, but the lunch shows for kids is very KID FRIENDLY food i.e. things like chicken nuggets and corn dogs, cup cakes etc. There is a good salad bar, coffee, etc. Staff is very quick to keep food available, clear your plates, refill drinks etc. Overall we enjoyed the food and it's a fun part of the experience - I definitely recommend getting the lunch + show ticket rather than just the show.

You are sitting at your table during the show which started at around 12:45. They chairs are padded and comfortable, we simply turned them to face the stage so our necks wouldn't give us trouble.

The sound, the singing, the dancing, set, acting, etc was all top notch! Just terrific performances by all!! This was a summer show and I believe involved the children's theatre camp program, so had some younger actors, as young as 11!! They all did so great, we just loved it!!

After the show, and I'm not sure if this is common, but they had a Q&A on the stage so kids (and adults) could ask questions to the cast, and after that the cast came out to the lobby and outside so you could take photos and talk to them. SO COOL! My kids, myself, my husband, and my parents all just absolutely loved this entire experience.

Can't recommend this place highly enough, whether you live in the area or just come for vacation like we do every year!!

I've been here a few times, and each time that I have; my experience has always been positive. The dinner is set up as buffet, and there are enough choices to make one happy. The service is always impeccable, and the show is always well done. If you enjoy theater or just a good show, I highly recommend that you give it a try. The show I attended tonight was "the piano men" father and son backed by a 4 man band performing the music of Billy Joel and elton john. Very enjoyable

Elvis finally came to the back tables to claim a gift, which made it very enjoyable.

We just saw A Christmas Carol.
It was a top notch production by Alan Menken. He wrote the music for a ton of things, including The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Little Shop of Horrors, etc! The voices were exceptional, dancing, costumes...it was spectacular. Live music in the pit too! Really awesome show, bravo! Going to take my parents to see Sound of Music in July!

Lovely buffet with nice amount of choices, for both dinner and desserts.
The show was top quality. The performers were very talented. Would highly recommend.

Everything. Was. SUPERB 👌 the show, the actors are amazing; the musicians are top notch; oh my word the food is incredible; the atmosphere comfortable, very clean, very friendly...all for a decent price. It was my first visit; but, sure won't be my last. Planning for the next show, already! 🙌

The show we saw was fantastic! The actors are superior and portray their characters with depth and great comedic timing. What fun! This review app did not provide a rating for the show, just the food, service & atmosphere.
I would rate the show a 6 out of 5 ;) and 4s all around just for my personal taste in food and atmosphere. Overall, the entire experience is a 5, and I do enjoy coming here. It's a great way to spend a day out with my mom.
The food is good quality and prepared well. The hot menu items are especially appealing for the establishment's clientele, and there are healthy choices. The coffee is good, and the dessert table overflows with variety and decadence!
The entire venue is clean and orderly. There are enough restroom facilities to prevent very long lines.
The servers are pleasant and helpful. Like everywhere, though, it seems they are a little short-handed (or perhaps it was just the day of our visit).

We just left Dutch Apple after seeing Ragtime and it was amazing! The show was Broadway quality! I saw this show on Broadway and I would have sworn watching this production I was right back in NY. The voices left me speechless. Great job!

We never got to eat or see the show. We were trying a new experience with our special needs granddaughter. We didn't even get fully seated at our table before we knew we needed to leave. From the minute we walked in the door, every staff member we encountered was phenomenal. They did everything within their power to assist us, even going as far as giving us full credit for our tickets to use at a later time. Even the other patrons that were affected by the events were so understanding and compassionate. We want to thank you all!

I just watched Guys and Dolls on TVI have to say I enjoyed Guys and Dolls so much more at the Dutch Apple! The performers were first class with the best voices and the acting was phenomenal! Our waiter went above and beyond and the food was great. If you get a chance I would add them to your travel list, I know I will be back!! What a hidden gem.

This was fantastic! We went on Wednesday and saw newsies. I had no idea what this was about, however it was great. I highly recommend this show. The dancing is incredible. And the singing as well, you will definitely fall in love with jack! Our waiter was Craig , also an actor. He was phenomenal as a waiter, he mentioned all the shows he’s been in too. I’ve been here so many times I lost count. Some shows are over the top and some are just that. This was wonderful. Now for the meal. The salads were top notch. Get the potato salad. The main course had Mac and cheese that was unbelievable with the amount of cheese. Also the chocolate cake is die for delicious. Ice tea and coffee are included with ticket. They do serve drinks on a separate tab. They ask you to tip , as they are actors serving.

My children and I attended this I went off of some reviews. It was my daughter’s birthday, her 14th birthday to be exact and she wanted to see a show with dinner. I couldn’t think of anything and this was recommended to me. I must say it was an absolute amazing experience. Every part of it was so professional. The staff was amazing, very attentive to the tables, although it was a packed theater. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for very affordable rates a great show and great food. The food was pretty good for being Buffay style. I love the fact that we were able to get more food. I think the price point is amazing, especially for children. We are really looking forward to going back for future events. The staff was even so kind because it was my daughters birthday so we went as a family. The gift shop gave my son who is to a little teddy bear. My daughter really enjoyed everything about the performance. It was probably in her words the best birthday ever my only recommendation would be if you were a family like mine, and you like to scrapbook or make a memory book. Be sure to get Hard tickets and you get them right at will call we did purchase hard tickets and it took two seconds to get the tickets I called ahead of time and she had the tickets printed ready to go. If you don’t purchase hardcopy tickets are just gonna be available on your phone so I purchased hardcopy tickets and that would be the only recommendation that I would. For the price point per person I use my children my ticket was $80 again I feel that’s a very fair price with the food being Buffay and the kids tickets were very affordable.

We love this Theater. Great shows! Our most recent show was "Sister Act ". This is definitely one of my favorite shows at Dutch Apple. We normally purchase tickets for "show only" no dining. The seats for two are perfect. Very nice staff. Unique items for purchase in the gift shop. Large parking area.

My boyfriend surprised me with tickets to see Chicago for our anniversary. Very lovely place and I was impressed. Prime rib was on the menu for the buffet which had me excited from the start. I would personally consider it a nicer dressing establishment (think church attire or a nice dress/sports jacket).

Staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. For being a buffet, the food was very good. The show was marvelous and I would definitely attend future shows.

What a wonderful time, every time we go ! Great staff, excellent food and service, and actors that give it all they've got to make it a memorable and meaningful experience.
