Seems like an ordinary small bookstore at first, and a nice place to spend an hour, as there's a decent selection of books for it being so small with average prices. But it also happens to be the oldest continuously-running bookstore in the United State, founded in 1745. How cool is that?

The oldest bookstore in the US Moravian Book Shop, is not just for amazing books of all genres, but also has a great selection of university sweatshirts, Tees and more, including beautiful little Christmas ornaments and decorations. Enjoy a walk on Main Ave and explore the array of shops, antique stores and restaurants.

Great place to find creative toys, puzzles, card and board games for the kids. I love to do my holiday shopping and grab some great stocking stuffers here. The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind.

Great place to find all sorts of books and merchandise, seated right on Main Street in Bethlehem.

They were gracious enough to arrange a book signing for me, and it was an awesome experience! Definitely stop in if you're in the area.

This is a great bookstore. There’s a lot of genres represented, with a selection that’s heavily contemporary. I went at Christmas time and they had a fairly large Christmas decoration section as well. One section of the store is dedicated to Moravian University merchandise and school supplies.

Nice and cozy place accompanied by history behind it. Definitely worth going, if you are planning to go on a trip to Bethlehem. The staff were also very nice.

This, the oldest continues running book store in the USA is a true treasure and should be a landmark historical sight.

We only visited the bookshop/gift shop, not the restaurant side. Book shop was lovely, not a huge selection, but definitely a good selection of current titles, something for everyone. Helpful staff, very neat - also had a good selection of local interest/history books. A whole section of Moravian College gear, and some kids gifts and Christmas ornaments as well (the ornaments I thought were a little overpriced.) Overall a lovely shop!

Such a great place! I'm guessing it looks much different now than it did 300 years ago but the history is wonderful. We really appreciated how the shop is highlighting banned books.

Most beautiful place, we've been shopping with them for years. Books galore, Bethlehem staples, and handmade items everywhere. We love it!

Lovely store with great employees. One of our favorite places!

We were in town for a memorial service and stopped to visit this bookstore on a walk. The store is well stocked and offers good variety. It took me back to a happier time when bookstores were common and great places to explore. We found a couple titles to purchase and enjoy. I would return again if in the area.

Little disappointed. Haven't been down there in a long time and they turned half the bookstore into a bar cafe. No more books. Sad nobody reads anymore

Great addition to the Lost Tavern Family! Love how they decorated and changed the space. Amazing ambiance and open space and with Dave's Deli how could it be better? Lost Tavern does it again

A very good visit to this old bookstore. In a great location in town with a fantastic selection of books. Should be something for everybody.

Staff very helpful. So thankful to Moravian College for stepping in to save ahistoric bit of Bethlehem.

They have basically all the authors you can think of and the atmosphere is very cozy
