The avenue of 444 flags is a great tribute to the military and to the hostages the flags were erected for . This memorial is a must see. We had a guide with the park. We are on an mystery trip with Eagle Rock tours from central, Ohio. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of our exciting trip.

For over ten years at Hillcrest Cemetery, now called "America's Cemetery", a World War 2 Veteran's grave site has been missing the bronze vase.

For over ten years, the sister of that World War 2 Veteran whose father, a World War 1 Veteran also buried there, has been bringing this to the attention of the people who work in the office at this cemetery.

Even when upset this woman is always polite and forbearing as her parents taught her to be in a fomer age when such demeanor was highly valued. This might make her easy for people of subsequent generations to ignore.

For over ten years they have routinely told the sister of the World War 2 Veteran that the bronze vase would be replaced and for over ten years they have failed to act upon their promise.

Today, 5/23/2019, acting on her behalf, I was told by the individual in the office that they have a supply of the bronze vases in a vault but that only the person whom she identified as Gary, holds the key to that vault. Of course, Gary was nowhere to be found in the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday in May and his office hours were also a mystery to her.

They have been acting in bad faith toward the sister of the World War 2 Veteran for over ten years.

Put this in perspective with regard to the words of the owner(s) and administrators of this cemetery and their self proclamation of patriotism at this time of our national holiday whereupon we honor those who've served, and those whose lives were freely given in their service.

The consistent shining-on for over ten years, of the daughter and sister of two Veterans of both world wars over a simple bronze vase which was paid for long go is wicked, reprehensible and calls into question the very patriotism so proudly self-proclaimed by the owner(s) and administrators of "America's Cemetery". After over ten years of this conduct, they do not deserve the single star required to post this review on this page.

My brother passed 2/12/18. The next day I went to cemetery to make arrangements. I spoke with Jane. I reminded her that years ago when my grandmother passed my family sat there till 5pm waiting for a piece of machinery to be delivered so the workers could finish her grave and she be laid to rest. I told her I did not want a repeat. She assured me they would have everything ready when the procession arrived, including wood planks and indoor/outdoor carpet as the ground would be muddy.
The morning of my brother’s memorial service, 2/16/18, Jane called me and said it was muddy and did my family want to go to the chapel. I told her no, we were going graveside to lay roses. I asked had she put the carpet over the planks so it would not be slippery. She replied NO, it was destroyed. I told her she had 3 days she could have gotten it and to go to Home Depot to spring for a piece of carpet. SHE DID NOT! 3 hours later I got a call from my sister that had arrived at cemetery to inform me the grave was not finished. The procession was enroute, a half hour away. When we got there we waited another 20-30 min while the workers dug the grave. I called Jane. She said it was rock and they were working to get done, normally it took 20 min to dig but because of the rock they had been at it for 3 hours. I reminded her that this was not the first grave dug in that area, it is always mud and rock and they should have dug the day before. She said they don’t do that. But guess what? They certainly have in the past, it was my 11th family funeral there and I knew better.
Horrific undignified service for my brother and family and unpleasant memories to look back on. My family and the waiting Honor Guard stood there in freezing 32 degree drizzle! This admin has no interest in serving their patrons and contracts with respect and dignity.
My daughter is buried there, she has a beautiful marker, it took me over a year to design, no to mention 7000.00 in cost. They covered her stone 3/4 of the way with plywood and piled all the dirt and rock on her marker from my brothers grave. When they finished putting dirt and rock over my brother they left a 3-4 ft thick pile on her marker. As of today, 5 days later it is still there. I called today and told them I want it off my daughter’ stone, it will sink with the weight. They said mid March. Her Angelversary is this Sat, 3 days from now. I cannot even go to pay respects without staring at this pile of mud, I cannot see her beautiful pictures engraved on her marker. I alsotoldJane to stay away from my daughters resting place.
It is Evident that management is without heart for the treatment of the interned and surviving family.
Think Twice when considering this establishment.
