El Serrano

Stopped by El Serrano for the happy hour tapas special. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The margaritas were tasty! The bar tender even made me a version without sour mix, which I really liked. There were two bartenders behind the bar, but it seemed like only one of them was responsible for those seated at the bar because the other guy wouldn't make eye contact with people at the bar. The restaurant area wasn't busy, so that was a little awkward because he was standing around while people wanted to put orders in. Overall, it was a nice happy hour experience.

First, the building is a beautiful piece of architecture. With every visit, the food has always been excellent in variety, taste, and prostration. In addition, the variety and quality of drinks are second to none. The happy hour is a crazy good deal, half off many drinks. I’m not a tequila drinker, but I do like margaritas; and their Peruvian brandy (Pisco) spin on the margarita, the Pisco-rita, was excellent. I also felt their Peruvian lager, made in partnership with Lancaster Brewing, was quite good. The bartender and table waitress were both friendly, attentive, and helpful. This is definitely one of our favorite local restaurants. We still need to get to the York location which is actually closer to home.

We went pretty late, almost closing time. The food was great, and so was the service. Above all, the ambiance of the restaurant was awesome

Great place to go for a date night! Great service! Make a reservation tho this place is busy. The atmosphere here is good fun a and enjoyable. Locals may say it’s not busy bc they don’t see cars there when they drive by. That’s because the parking is out back and not visible from the road. The food is delicious and they collaborate with Lancaster Brewing Company to make their beer. The Peruvian Lager is excellent! Check this place out you won’t be disappointed. Cheers!

If you are in the area in the summertime, this is a must go place. The folks are from 🇵🇪 Peru, and they serve Pisco.
The dining area is really bright, and the glass ceiling allows sunshine to lighten up the place. It is worth taking a stroll in the restaurant to look at the decoration and architecture. Place definitely has a unique set of decorations worth checking out.
If the weather is permitting, the outside seating option is wonderful.
In the bathroom, in addition to soap and sanitizer, they do have listerine. It's great to refresh your breath before you leave the restaurant, very well thought.
Going back to Pisco, it is one of my favorite summer drinks and not east to find. You can not go wrong with Pisco sour. They have a great selection of Pisco choices with along Margarita, Wine, and Beer menu. I have had them prepare Spicy Margarita with Pisco, and it was delicious.
The food menu is simple, but everything I had was fresh and prepared with care. I would recommend anything from the Peruvian cuisine section with your type of protein.
They also have a variety of vegetarian operations as well.
Can't wait to visit again.

This is a very charming place, the decoration, attention to detail in the woodwork and decorating is amazing. It is almost like if you are in a different world. The amazing layout, the food, the great mixed drinks, the extreme friendly and helpful staff

Came here for my sisters birthday and had such a good experience. The food was so good and really great portions. Drinks were very good too, and the flan was amazing! You definitely get what you pay for. JD was our server and he was very personable and gave great service. I didn’t catch the owners name but he chatted with us for a little while and was very kind!

The food at this restaurant is delicious. Not to mention the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. I had the chicken fajitas they were sizzling hot and so flavorful. The fried ice cream and deep fried Hershey bar were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or any other special occasion.

The food was amazing!!! So good!!! Drinks were good, loved the atmosphere as well!! Our server was very friendly, however it took a very long time to get our food. When the table next to us, who were seated at least 20 minutes after us, same amount of people, were served their meal at least 10 minutes before us - that got a little frustrating. We were never asked if we wanted drink refills. Other than that, we really liked the place and because the food was so delicious we will definitely be back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at El Serrano. It had been a few years since we've been there. Savanah was our server yesterday. She was fabulous. From explaining some menu items to updating us on the Restaurant as a whole. She was super friendly and personable from beginning to end. It was nice not to feel rushed. Overall a great experience.

Definitely a unique dining spot for Lancaster! How embarrassing that I've lived here 5 years and have not been to this restaurant until last week! The food was very well made and, though the menu is not marked, the waiter was immediately knowledgeable of what dishes were gluten-free. We slid in at 4:30pm on a Saturday with no wait and was welcomed by a quiet ambiance so as to enjoy each other's company.

Excellent food and service. I was there with a large party, and the server was on top of our food and drink orders with friendly smiles. He made great recommendations for dinner choices and everyone had a great time! Will definitely be returning here!

First this place just looks cool. Then you go inside and get great food and service. Loved it. Worth it.

Our server JD was awesome!!! He was so attentive and bought us out everything we needed quickly. The food was amazing! I had the Lomo Saltado with all 3 meats (chicken, beef, and shrimp) portions were just right. I also had the passion fruit cheesecake to take home and it was also delicious. Definitely recommend going here.

Very beautiful building, clean spaces & restrooms, intricate details, & great food to boot.

One of our favorites in Lancaster. We've tried various things on the menu and nothing has disappointed. Drinks are generally good as well - I've really been enjoying the pomegranate margarita lately. Highly recommended.

My children and grandchildren took me to El Serrano for my birthday. I hadn’t been there in a while and wondered if the Chicken Fajitas were as good as I remembered. They were FANTASTIC!! We were seated in a private area which was very lovely. Everyone loved their dinners! Our waiter was delightfully friendly and so very efficient. We will definitely be back to El Serrano!

Beautiful restaurant looks like a mini mansion from outside. Beautiful inside and food was very good.
