I've been a Co-Op member for nearly 20 years now. When the Village location opened I was thrilled to have an option closer to home. Love the selection and atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The beer aisle is my favorite part of the store and I love that it keeps growing and growing. Cheers!

This is one of the best grocers in the Boise area, my wife and I go here as much as we can in order to buy locally; especially during the winter months. We discovered this store while looking for locally grown honey to help with allergies; which is found here at this Co-Op. They also have one of the largest, most geographically thorough wine selection I have ever seen; #FlawlessVictory.

Stopped there on my road trip and this is hands down one of my all time favorite grocery stores! I'm glad to see that there are stores that carry an amazing selection of healthy options! Excellent service and all the employees I met were super friendly and helpful! I ended up spending a good amount of money and it was worth every cent! I successfully indulged in a food-coma and had an amazing burrito, salad and sandwich and also got other items that are hard to find at regular grocery stores! I wish I had a store like that close to where I live...

Boise Co-op Deli catered our garden club's district meeting - platters of breakfast breads, boxed sandwiches, individual salads, and wrapped chocolate chip cookies.
It was a great experience and an easy meal for us to offer our guests.

I absolutely love how the staff is so welcoming when you walk through the front door. They are also extremely attentive and helpful. I buy a lot of plant-based items here, as well as, produce and kombucha. Some of the stuff maybe priced high (as several con reviews suggest); however, they do offer incredible deals on specific items that you can’t find other places. I always feel like I hit the jackpot when purchasing kombucha here and they offer rare items you can’t find at other places. It’s definitely an amazing place. I will be back soon.

Most people here talk about the organic food or vegan options. The real hidden gem is the beer selection in the back. Prices are very good too. I go here often just for the beer.
The selection can be a little intimidating, but on almost all beer items, you can break down the 4-packs and 6-packs and create your own selection. They have spare can holders and card board 6-pack bottle holders free to use.
The deli here is pretty awesome too.

The best spot to get groceries in Treasure Valley bar none!

I’m in here often getting snacks and also those ingredients and items you can’t find anywhere else.

Lots of delicious food, healthy items, and a cornucopia of delicious drinks!

Also I LOVE the tree art installation near the checkout 🌲

My baby can't tolerate dairy through breastmilk so I've had to go dairy free. Dairy is probably my favorite food group so I don't know what I'd do without Boise Co-op! I'm not missing out on a single thing with all the selection they've got!

Who would’ve thought that a hipster place known in the community for offering super healthy, organic & local products would be the best place to buy ALCOHOL (specifically beer)? For the handful of years I’ve been an Idahoan, this has been (and will be) the #1 “beer run” location (Meridian location over the downtown Boise one).

Beer selection here is FANTASTIC. The “over the counter”, popular OG beers are still here (from the local breweries and from around the country), but the main attraction are all the specialty beers that you won’t find in Walmart, Winco, Albertsons, Fred Meyer. The enormous Albertsons “World Market” that’s close by might have a bigger selection (in terms of floor space in the store), but you won’t find a lot of the beers at this Co-Op over there.

The #1 perk of buying beer here (and the primary factor of the 5 star review), is that you can buy beer BY THE CAN. No need to waste money on the full 6 pack when you don’t know if you’re going to even like the beer or not. The pricing of beer, by the can, is extremely competitive, and is only $1-3 more than buying the full 6 pack (or 4 pints). This has encouraged me to try so many new beers that I’d never try before. This “feature” is killer, and easily differentiates this place from the rest of the stores.

As for the food, I’m sure it’s extremely healthy, ethically raised, etc, but the price is just too high for me (and I’m sure for a lot of others). If money isn’t an issue, I’d love to be able to buy all my produce here, but that’s not reality (at least for me). Some of my favorite items here are the chili at the soup bar, the “Acme” branded rosemary bread (UNREAL), Wildflower bakery scones, and the amazing selection of cheeses (smoked gouda baby). Favorite non-food item (and a great gift) is the Idaho shaped bamboo cutting board that’s sold here (I don’t actually use for cutting stuff, just decoration).

This Meridian location is superior to the Boise location. This seems newer, bigger, more interior lighting, layout isn’t crammed, and the EASY parking (parking at the Boise location just isn’t worth the hassle). Only perk at the Boise location is the better / bigger olive bar.

Friendly people working at this location. I’m not a member, and don’t plan on spending money to be one, so as long as they don’t require you to be a member, I’ll be coming back.

If you’re looking for LOCAL IPAs (hazy, double, etc), “Mother Earth Brewing” from Nampa cannot be beat. I tried most of the other local, Idaho breweries, and IMO they don’t even come close. My all time favorite IPA has to go to “Revision Brewing”. 4 Pints for around $16.50 (used to be $12.50!) is pricey, but they hit it out of the park in terms of high octane alcohol %, low IBUs, and that distinct “dank” smell and flavor I crave.

P.S. Shout out to this place for sending out free $10 off for $25+ order vouchers years ago when I lived in an apartment nearby. This was the only reason I started coming here (since you could even use that on beer lol)

Our favorite store. Yummy organic non gmo foods, fresh squeezed juices, hot food bar, variety of fruits and vegetables as well as meats and fish, cheese. I hope though you can have fresh strawberries from Prolife Richardson Farm. They have yummy organic strawberries. I haven’t seen or tried any better strawberries then what they have and hope this Co Op can stock up on them too for us not to shop all at once spot. Thank you ❤❤❤❤

You can always count on Co-op for good quality organic produce, among other things. (I can hardly wait for persimmon season every year!) They're experts at packing a whole lot of goodness into a relatively small space. You never know what treasures you'll find hiding in this little gem!

Shoutout to Steve the butcher. My girlfriend and I have come here multiple times to get various meats. I don't eat meat very much, Steve has been super helpful every time we've come. I won't be coming back too often, but when I do, I hope Steve is there.

I have shopped at Boise Co Op many times and was always pleased. Last week the Chinden Garden Club hosted a lunch event for 65 people and we chose Boise Co Op's deli for catering both breakfast and lunch. The food was excellent. The pastries and bread are baked fresh daily. The sandwiches and salads were delicious and ample. The cookie for dessert was quite large. Our overall experience was 5 star. The manager, Ruth and her staff were so friendly and easy to work with. Our club will definitely do it again and I, for one, will stop by and purchase their pre made food.

Love Boise Co-op. Great selection of items and super helpful staff. If that's not enough, membership perks will convince you to join. Best selection of lactose free items in the area. Thanks Boise Co-op.
