I was so lucky to get taken in for a walk-in buzz-cut instantly without scheduling an appointment ahead of time. I was fortunate he washed all the excess hair away after cutting my hair so when I left I was able to continue conducting business in the city! He wasn't to rough, & really treated me like family! The area surrounding the shop is also quite pleasent & rather walkable!

i made an appointment this morning and they got me in same day!! i thought my haircut i used to have would be unattainable again due to the condition it was in when i arrived, but they made it happen! i’m forever thankful and this has become my new go to salon for my haircuts. thank you <3

I've never gotten a haircut here, but the owner was extremely helpful today. He helped me get away from a homeless man that was following and persistently harassing me for money on the street.

I have been going to Joe for many years and in addition to a great haircut, I find the time I spend their is reminisce of days' gone by. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming and there always is plenty of great discussion. Joe is a pleasant guy who always makes me feel like an important client. His calm personality, coupled with his skill as a barber makes for a great experience. If you are considering changing barbers, go to Joe and you will never look back.

I have been going to Joe’s for my haircut for many years. First, Joe gives excellent hair cuts. Second, I always enjoy my conversations with Joe. He is well read and really cares about his customers. I strongly recommend him.

I have been a customer at this barber shop for several years. Joe's knowledge and skill make this a great place to get a haircut. He really knows his craft. He listens to what you want and does his best to make sure you leave satisfied.

I started working nearby, and for that work I needed to keep clean and look sharp. I don't have the best head of hair to work with to start. Joe's near, so I made an appointment and sat in. I saw the negative reviews, but it was just two and they looked like outliers to me.

What can I say? Joe did the trick. I went in looking like a belonged up in the Appalachians in a tin shed somewhere, feverishly writing a manifesto, to a decent looking professional. I don't look like I own the place, but I do look like I might be buying.

Those bad reviews, I gotta think they confused this with some other place. The energy in the place was nothing but calm and welcoming, and Joe's a good guy.

I've set up my next appointment already to make sure I can get back in here when I need to. Best praise I can give, I think.

The 1 star reviews that you see are from a couple of people who are tenants or Joe. They had a misunderstanding with him (he was in the right) and got upset so they left those reviews on his business. I have been going to Joe for a while now and he gives the best personalized hair cuts around. Not only that, but he is a very kind, respecting, and genuine man.

Excellent service! Men's haircut and head wash for only $24! All other places charge at least $25! Awesome atmosphere and awesome guy!
