Dining at Jumbars is like going to a good friend’s house for brunch, and they’re a great cook. The food’s homey, comforting, and simple. If offered, get the sweet strata (hot bread pudding with fruit sauce) to warm you up from the inside. I recommend splitting it as a dessert as it’s too sweet as a standalone meal. One order is large enough for four people (do the half order with fewer people). The rotating selection of soups are always delicious, especially the chowder in the style of Boston and Maine.

My wife and I came in here for breakfast around 10:30 on a Friday morning. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. We were seated within 5-10 mins. There are maybe 8-10 tables with either 2 or 4 seats. The food was tremendous. My wife ordered quiche Lorraine with a side salad. I ordered the Savory strata with sausage gravy. The bread in it has the consistency of bread pudding. It was SO GOOD! My wife doesn’t often get jealous of whatever I order, but she was jealous of this one. We also got two scones, two shortbread cookies, and two Kipfels to-go. Everything was good and we will definitely return!

Lovely spot for breakfast. The food was delicious and you can tell they use good quality ingredients, probably local.

After a small wait in line it was well worth it. Carol was a great server and hostess. Jumbars is like a cafe in a Robert Frost poem. A very quaint place with old school ambience. Everything is homemade and absolutely fantastic. The bread wow, the bread. My corn beef was hand peeled with not one bit of fat. The people we stood in line with were correct in saying that this one the best places for breakfast in Bethlehem.

My family has been eating here for years and the food is always good! We love the quiches! The soup is fantastic too! This time I had an omelette and grits! The lemon bar is just how I remembered ! I cant wait to come back on my next visit to PA!

Always a delightful place to get breakfast, but the seating area is very small get there early if you have a large party, sometimes I've seen the weight be over an hour, but it's one of the best and coziest breakfast places on that side of town, make sure you try the duffin with chocolate. They also make a pretty mean fast knot, if you're in that kind of mood, I have all kinds of other pastries that you can take home with you

On this chill fall morning I walked right past Jumbars while looking down at my phone looking for it. I’m glad I found it in the end. I had delicious locally roasted coffee and gluten-free corn muffin grilled in oodles of butter to start and ended up ordering a vegetarian Chili omelette. Delicious, simple good food. My coffee kept getting refilled as I did my morning writing. Left satisfied and a little wired. Took their special Pumpkin muffins to go for my husband.

Great service. It was quiet when I arrived but it was packed with a line up of waiting guests when I finished up and left around 9:30am on a Friday morning.

Visited Bethlehem PA for the Christmas weekend. Started out at a different restaurant on Christmas Eve and my order was messed up. So I googled to find another place, found Jumbar and decided to try it with my doubting hubby. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing, food truly tasted like homemade food. We were served by Mary & Kara who graciously shared the history of the restaurant. Recommend you try their scones, love love loved them, wished I bought more.
Would surely visit if I come back again.
A 10/10 experience 👍🏾❤

Best breakfast in the Lehigh Valley! I've eaten here so many times and never has anything disappointed. The staff is super lovely. Some favorites: Savory breakfast strata with sausage gravy and perfectly poached eggs. Don't miss the bakery counter!

It was my wife and my first time there. We had quiche and corn chowder. Everything was delicious and our server Kara was so attentive and personable. We dined with three friends as well and they were so accommodating. I recommend this cozy place.

This place never disappoints. I love the atmosphere there and the staff is so friendly. Everything on the menu is a treat. My partner an I always get different things so we can share and try a few things. The Elvis waffle hit the spot!! Tried their apple cider and pepper jam on their homemade English muffins this time. They were so good we bought a jar of each. Highly recommend!!

Cozy neighborhood Cafe. Everything is homemade. I took home a package of English muffins. Wow, They're way better than the spongy supermarket muffins.

My favorite breakfast in the entire Valley. The best scones, seasonal pancakes, and FABULOUS bread puddings. The restaurant is so cute and always clean. Covid smart, and the employees are so friendly and kind. Go here!

Great spot!! This is one of the few restaurants I have ever been to that makes me feel that mom made me breakfast!! Felt like home it was so good!! I don’t know what they did back there LOL but it was excellent! Bread is fresh baked and soooo good!! Only downfall is it’s small. There is a dead spot in the middle of seating area where they could easily get a few more tables in but maybe they want to keep it small? Either way it is soooo worth the wait!! Not to many places around that make such great meals it makes you feel like you’re at home.
