I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque for 4 nights during the 2021 Balloon Fiesta. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for the annual Fiesta. First of all, the staff was so friendly, so helpful, so great with making sure that my friend and I had a nice stay. For example, when we checked in, the front desk gave us a specific line that we could text if we needed anything. Whenever I texted, they responded very promptly and I appreciated that. The concierge was helpful in giving us suggestions for things to do, and she definitely worked very hard during the Fiesta (being onsite at 4:30 a.m. to ensure guests were getting where they needed to go). The bartender, Kimberly, was funny and we had a good time chatting with her. All of the front desk staff, the self-parking attendants, and the manager Randy were friendly and helpful.

Second, our double queen bed room was clean and comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains (and then, days later, we could see the hot air balloons, too, which were amazing!) Ask for a mountain view room or select that when booking, and you will have a great view. This Hyatt had been closed for 18 months due to the pandemic, so initially we had a slight issue with the shower in our room on Day 1, but the front desk staff and maintenance addressed the problem promptly and it was no problem after that.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay here and I would stay here again if I return to Albuquerque someday.

Room was clean and operational. Receptionists were all nice and accommodating. During balloon week, they open the 19th floor from 6 am to 10 am to enjoy viewing with coffee. What a plus. We got free parking for a few hours to load up our car. Coffee in room. Nice pulsating shower hrad. Big room.

Exquisite rooms, relaxing, clean and quiet. We were able to have a pleasant stay and enjoyed some time in the lobby having our morning coffee from Starbucks. There's almost like a mini mall within the mall and the valets were pleasant. The only problem we constantly had to deal with was lobby hours for safety reasons. Short of that we had a great time at the Balloon Fiesta and a comfortable stay at the Hyatt.

This was an oasis and felt so much like home I extended my stay by an night and had to make myself leave. I travel extensively for work and this hotel really impressed me! The food was incredible and the service superb both from room service and the restaurant/lounge. Even with some serious allergies, the kitchen was able to accommodate me so that was impressive! The cleaning lady for our room was fantastic and always very pleasant! The front desk staff, notably Lauren, was very friendly when I checked in and always very nice every time I saw her after that. The security, notably Bradford, was also very personable and vigilante in his rounds making sure the hotel stayed a safe place which I really appreciated! All in all, the best stay in a hotel I have had in years! I will be back again! Thank you to JCLC for choosing this as our conference hotel!

Stayed here one night. Very clean and comfortable. Have to say the mattress they had was the most comfortable one I have ever slept. State of New Mexico had too many restrictions on covid and inspite if that they served a decent breakfast delivered to my room.

Felt like staying in a truly luxurious hotel. Food service is great, complete with mini mustard and ketchup. Rooms are very quiet, beds are comfortable, and staff knowledgeable and efficient. Also a great place to catch up on Chopped. Great TV variety

Great hotel! Definitely very welcoming and clean. The first hotel where I wasn't awakened by the noise from the maids in the morning. The freebies take it to an even higher level - lemonade and water available in the main lobby, Keurig machine with the variety of coffees and teas in each room and water. It's the little things and a great restaurant with great service.

Friends had a wedding reception at the Hyatt and everything seemed really well done. The event staff were almost invisible in a good way the food was pretty good for buffet style. The MC was funny and in general everything went smoothly. The place is really nice inside, fresh, modern, clean.

I frequently use hotels and I can honestly say that the staff here exceed my every expectation! After being here for 6 days, I've had quite a few interactions and I've yet to encounter an employee that is not incredibly friendly and helpful. This included the concierge, reception, house cleaning, bar staff, restaurant staff, and valet. I had a complicated billing situation to separate business days and pleasure days and the reception staff were splendid! I left a light on in my car in the parking garage and ended up with a dead battery and the valet guy was so kind and helpful! The other amenities are great as well. Also, there is a pool, gym, and business area, as well as a Starbucks, deli, nice resteraunt, yogurt place, bar, gift shop, and several shops in the lobby. Easy access and parking (both self and valet).

My only negative complaint was that my particular room lacked a mini-fridge and safe.

Great staff at the front desk. We called twenty minutes before arriving to see if they had available rooms and they accommodated us immediately. The hotel was clean with large rooms. Ours had great views of the mountains. Most hotels only have huge bed pillows, which I don't like. The Hyatt had big pillows and thin pillows upon request. We stayed four nights and had free parking the entire stay. The pool area was beautiful but the main pool cold. Would be nice if it was heated.

It was an amazing stay for our family at the Hyatt Regency on the Fourth of July. After a long day of driving we arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon. When we got up to our room we saw a double rainbow. We also got to see the fireworks all across town with our view from the top floor. We got a drink from the bar to celebrate the holiday. In the morning, we saw hot air balloons as the sun rose over the mountains. It was so beautiful! The room was comfortable as well and I was so happy that there was a Starbucks in the lobby. This hotel also has a few of those little things that you may need. I was so happy that they had a few free nail polish removal wipes for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. They exceeded my expectations at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque.

I attended a professional event at this location that was great. Nice, open, and very clean venue. Didn't interact with the staff, but they appeared friendly. There was an underground parking fee, but it was reasonable. I'd absolutely attend another event there, and maybe this time try out some other amenities. :)

The hotel is in a very convenient location - quick walk to the train / transportation center, right across from the convention Center, and short walk to other locations of interest, like several breweries nearby. The accommodations are very comfortable, the rooms and furniture look nice. I was able to check in early, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly - gave me a couple recommendations for lunch spots to try nearby. I've had a very pleasant stay!

Arrived in Albuquerque at 2am after driving all day. Came here based on price and Google review after a fiasco with another hotel. The woman at the front desk was fabulous. She was very compassionate..I was so tired I wasn't thinking straight 😃. We got to our room, and found the toilet was broken, so they quickly got us keys to a different room. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds were ultra comfortable. I'm really glad we stayed here.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt for a conference also happening there. Housekeeping was reliable and thorough. My check-in was smooth and everytime I had to approach the front desk they were friendly and fast. The conference food was pretty standard. I did appreciate that I could order some microwaved mac n cheese and a fruit cup at 1 am after I arrived from the Airport without eating dinner. The full size Starbucks in the lobby was also nice. And if like me you are stuck in the conferance center all day and don't have time to go out shopping for gifts for your children, the gift and sundries shop on the 1st floor has more than your usual hotel gift shop offerings and lots for kids. The only issue we had here was the hot tub was kind of touch and go. Sometimes closed because of wind, sometimes not warm enough, I never got to use it but a friend finally did and said it was fine.

Excellent hotel. Helpful staff. My suitcase didn’t arrive at the same time as I did, so for about a half day I didn’t have any toiletries but the list of things the hotel has is awesome! You can even borrow a flat iron.

I don't see the "boring" that other reviews talked about. Front desk was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Rooms are nice - what I expect from a Regency - and clean. No it's not the Park, New York. It's just a Regency, but a quality example of one from what I can see. I'd stay here again. In fact, I will be here again in just a few days.

It felt like being of some royalty, they treat you so wonderful. Two bars, rooms are awesome. Allow pets.

The little water/park front, across the street is perfect to lounge in, while the sun is coming down.

Starbucks on site! a few other stores and why not be able to get your hair done too.

We arrived tonight (8/18/18) and found a few issues with our room. Night Manager, Eugene Berry, went above and beyond by responding immediately, putting us at ease and demonstrating professional and genuine care for our stay. We experienced a wonderful evening and will be back!

Nothing short of excellence! I stayed here for the USA Weightlifting American Open event; it was the host hotel. I utilized the valet service upon arriving, was greeted very professionally and warmly. Front desk reception was equally courteous and very quick. Room was nice, as expected of a Hyatt, however there were a few extras to speak of. First, they had my requested refridgerator in room, there were 3 bottles of free water (huge bonus), and a single cup Keurig coffee maker with caffeinated and decaffeinated k-cups. Everything was clean and in good working order, bathroom stocked with basic amenities, very spacious. Plenty of hot water, not safety controlled warm water like a lot of hotels now. Individual climate control in room, again, unlike a lot of hotels now where you can't adjust. They had their sauna set aside for our use, which was really nice, considering our event. I would say this is the only area I could suggest improvement, the sauna was at 100 degrees, normal temps would be 150-200 degrees, so it wasn't useful in cutting water weight (there were no instructions or controls immediately identifiable). There are a few shops downstairs near lobby to include a Starbucks, a Keva Smoothie, and gift shop. They had a restaurant ground floor which has an impressive breakfast buffet for 20$ - well worth it for the options! James, our server was memorable - very pleasant and fun, perfect amount of customer service interaction! Thanks James! Hotel right across from convention center so it was super accessible to event, loved the ease! I highly recommend staying here if in the area!
