I have plantar fasciitis and very wide feet. I also wear custom inserts and work on my feet all day. I struggle to find supportive shoes and today was the easiest shoe shopping experience I've ever had. They measured my feet with a 3D imaging program and recommended a variety of shoes to choose from. They had my size in stock and the whole thing took about 20 minutes. The staff is very friendly, helpful and courteous. I will definitely be returning for all my shoe needs in the future.

Bought a pair of shoes and insoles for my flat feet. Excellent customer service. Worth the money I paid for them. I have less knee pain. I appreciate they were not pushy-they were there to help

I just had a very good experience with Sawyer, shopping for athletic shoes for my grandkids. He was knowledgeable on pronation and flat feet. A successful trip! Highly recommend this store!

I have always gotten good service from this store. I have unusually large but narrow feet. They offer suggestions but have never pressured me to buy what I don't want. They are knowledgeable about what they sell.
Amazing staff

Friendly staff that knows their shoes. We had to order a pair as my husband has an uncommon size. They told us that we were under absolutely no obligation to purchase them if we came back in and he ended up not liking them. Very low pressure atmosphere. We will definitely come buy shoes from them again.

I have been a fan of NB for 20 years. I have several issues with my feet and was heading to a wheel chair. New Balance stresses the importance of sit and fit. I explained my issues and the sales staff recommended a shoe that changed my life. The sales staff are trained technicians. They are not just cashiers. If they don’t have the answer to a question, they will find it. Because of the rigorous training that new associates are offered, it takes time to develop skill and knowledge. I have always been impressed with the loyalty and commitment Josh and all the employees have in making all the customers feel like they received the best service and product.

Ok, they are not perfect. However, they try. If you are unhappy, please let them make it right. They will!
We had a customer try to return shoes that were purchased nine months ago. They were “uncomfortable”. If they had been returned in a timely manner, they might have been able to exchange the shoe. As it was, a healthy discount on a new pair of shoes was offered.

Salesperson was very helpful and didn't make us feel rushed or pressured. Special ordered in a shoe for my daughter and even though she didn't chose that pair, there was no pressure. We like that a customer has 30 days to try out the shoes - so we didn't feel nervous or regretful about size and style when we knew that we could exchange and get store credit if needed. The sale person was very informed ( didn't catch name - but he goes to Rexburg college ). We had a good experience and will return !

I always struggle to find the right shoes; shoe shopping is something I dread. But not today! The guy helping me was efficient with his questions to narrow down what I needed, didn't push anything on me to boost sales, and I left way sooner than expected with a great set of shoes and insoles.

Great customer service. Clean showroom. Because of my longevity of customer satisfaction & buying shoes they gave me a great discount on my shoe purchase. "I will keep buying shoes from new balance simply because they are the only company to offer sizes larger (that I've found)than 13 in the valley at budget pricing.

I love NB. I am very happy with the many pairs of shoes I have from NB. They have more technology behind the make of their shoes instead of marketing like Nike does. I would recommend NB to anyone that have any kind of foot issues. They are very helpful. Well worth the money. Your wide feet will love all the room! Ask for Nick or Parker!

Great selection of shoes. I described to the staff what I was looking for and they showed me several styles the fit what I was looking for. It was tough to narrow the selection down to one. I think I'll go back for the other two pair that I liked. The pair that I ended up with are comfy light and have a Vibram sole. This is my first pair of New Balance shoes but I'm already very impressed.

Spectacular store!
I went in looking for a pair of casual/everyday shoes.
Purchased a great looking pair of shoes. Brian was very very helpful in highlighting every shoes features and what he recommended for me.
Within two weeks the shoes glue began to fail....a little disappointing but hey it happens.
I gave them a call and explained I had only worn the shoes around two week before the sole began to separate. Was told they were a factory defect shoe.
I explained to the manager that I live in Canada and would not be back to the store until my next visit to Boise. He sent me a new pair of shoes!!!!
Wow! Old School Service! Love it, would definitely recommend this store to everyone.
New Balance for Life

Needed better lateral stability (particularly around the ball of my foot). The staff was meticulous in helping to assess a number of possibilities. I bought the minimal configuration with an invitation to return for reassessment later. Great people!

New Balance is one of the few athletic shoe brands that seems to always fit just right. I have worn little else in the past decade for cycling, jogging, gym workouts and everyday casual wear. My wife and I both got new shoes today at the New Balance store, which is the only one in Idaho.
