Oh my goodness I love this place! I just moved into the neighborhood and went there today for the first time! Such lovely people! And as a transgender woman who is always wary of going into new places, I felt totally safe, accepted, and treated with all the kindness and professionalism they treat everyone else. I had Jackie as my stylist extraordinaire! She’s fantastic! I was in such capable hands. She’s so talented and friendly. She now has a regular client! I Highly recommend Starlit Salon and especially Jackie!

I absolutely loved my hair for my wedding and my bridesmaid’s hair. From the moment I booked to the last curl both Jill and Bonnie made me feel absolutely at home and truly listened to my ideas and wants for my wedding day. I am 100% happy with my results and cannot wait to see and share the pictures with them. If you need a stylist to do your hair for any occasion you cannot go wrong with Jill and Bonnie!

This salon is close to my home and I was intrigued so I called them up. I wanted to do something drastic and cut off my lifelong very long, very curly hair for a fresh look. It is not a decision I made lightly - fellow glamourpusses will understand. From the moment I called the approach was collaborative and inclusive, warm and welcoming. I was scheduled with Jill, the owner, and received periodic text updates about my appointment. The day arrived with excitement, and it was well worth the wait! An adorable salon, neat as a pin, super clean and more like an art studio with high ceilings and lots of well-utilized space. This aesthetic of thoughtful, deliberate design carried over into the services. A lovely wash and condition by the wonderful Lala was followed by a consultation with the pictures I brought, thorough color advice, comprehensive styling tips, and really the most comfortable and creative haircut I have ever received. Best of all my ponytail is being donated to Locks of Love for pediatric cancer patients. This gives my hair that I cherished and babied for so many years a new life where it is needed more . Starlit is definitely a shining star and I am hesitant to tell the world how incredible it was lest I have trouble getting a future appointment due to demand! But even if that were the case, such acclaim is extremely well-deserved. Cutting off long hair for something fresh and sassy (and dare I say - French?) is a choice akin to..i don't know? Having a baby? Signing on the dotted line? Bungee jumping? All I know is, once decided, there's no turning back.. After this unparalleled experience, I don't think I'll ever want to! We used Starlit Salon and Dylan Michael Cosmetics for my wedding this weekend and we were blown away. My maid of honor is very picky when it comes to her makeup and she practically bounced out of the chair with excitement at how beautiful she looked. You can't beat the prices! We had Bonnie and Casey for our artists and one of the girls said "Can I pay you to follow me around everywhere and do my hair??" to Bonnie. We were all so please. Hair and makeup both lasted all night :) Would absolutely go to these girls again!

Jill and her team are the most professional and fun team to be taking care of you. Whether it be for your wedding day or for a routine cut and color, they are the best. The atmosphere in the salon is very welcoming and relaxed. When you are in the chair, there is no other care in the world. Jill is so sweet and takes the time to talk with you and catch up. I have been a client of Jill's for over 15 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

What can I say about Jill other than that she's amazing? she's exactly what you'd want in a wedding hair stylist-- good with communication, making your vision come alive, and exuding big sister vibes. Jill made myself as well as all of my bridesmaids look amazing and did 9 people in 4 hours. We were done early and we all looked great. When I had wedding drama, Jill worked her magic to rearrange the schedule to put the dramatic girls first. My hair stayed all night and Jill even gave us extra hairspray and Bobby pins. You can't go wrong booking her

Been going to Jill since she was just starting out. She has built a beautiful salon staffed by talented operators and lovely support people. It is such a pleasure to spend time there and leave with complement worthy hair every time!

I couldn't imagine finding my light eyebrows and including them in my makeup regiment without Diane shaping and tinting them.

Jill, the owner, is amazing. I have been wearing wigs and hairpieces for over 9 years due to thinning hair. I have always been very self conscious of how I looked without one and would not go out of the house without a hat. I asked Jill if she could cut and color my hair in a style that might work with just my own hair. Yesterday , I walked out of the salon feeling great and loving my new look. She is a miracle worker and as sweet as they come. The salon is immaculate and following all of the necessary COVID19 protocol and then some. Jill is a real gem!

I love this Salon and the atmosphere. It’s very relaxed and you feel like you’re at home. Jill, the owner is amazing and knows what she is doing with color. I’m a natural blonde but have gotten darker as I get older and she can give me the platinum color I’m looking for without the brassy tones. Go here, it’s worth it :)

I received a haircut (bangs and layers) from Dani, and it looked beautiful! She did an amazing job. Everyone was so friendly and the inside of the salon is cute as a button. If you prefer public transit, the salon is right across the street from the SEPTA Jenkintown-Wyncote train station. I can't wait to come back!

Great experience at this salon today- my first time…Awesome customer service from the door..Maria is just very accommodating, makes you feel right at home…Jackie did a great job picking the right color for my hair and she’s very thorough…Lala, almost put me to sleep with her relaxing shampoo/head massage….Will definitely return…Kudos to the owner!!!
