Holod's True Value Hardware

I've shopped at their garden center many times, and I've always been happy with the selection of perennials, shrubs, and trees. They usually have what I'm looking for, and offer to order it for me if there's anything they don't have in stock right then. They always have a wide range of both ornamental plants and fruit/veggies/herbs. Also, their perennial selection usually includes plenty of native options. They are unfailingly polite and helpful.

That is my favorite hardware store. They are always friendly and they have knowledge of what people want. Incredible concrete figures. They are a big family owned business. Mr Halod, his sons and his employees make everyone feel like family.

Stopped in to look for plants that would do well in the shade of our tree, we found a very helpful person to take his time and help us pick out the best plants for us. He was very knowledgeable about plants and helped us make the best choice for us and our garden. Also the plants were very reasonably priced.

Local garden store with a wide variety of flowers, plants, and various garden items. 1st time going here and was surprised how much stuff they had(would always pass the store and just thought it was smaller). Staff are nice and friendly, they're a little hardcore with their walkie talkies lol, but seems to keep them organized. Over all, great place to support local businesses!!

Great hardware store. This is my go to for all things gardening.

Went on a Sunday morning with my family. We were shopping around for a couple flowers and a tree for the front of our home. My mom picked out a gorgeous blue tree that was robust and healthy, in great condition, and very beautiful. The best specimen of its species that any of us that we have ever seen!

The customer service was impeccable as well. We were given a great tutorial on how to plant and care for our new tree, which was very informative and helpful. We have done planting of bushes and trees in the past, but the tips were very helpful and will definitely be utilized in our continued garden construction!

Overall, Holod's has a wide selection of plants that are very healthy and beautiful. It's a great gardening supply shop and has a nice selection of pots It's a family favorite for all of our gardening needs—we never walk away empty handed.

I absolutely adore going to Holod's. They have a great selection of plants that are much healthier that you would find in a big box store. The staff has been nothing but kind, courteous, and incredibly helpful. We've been coming seasonally to get new plants for our flower boxes and planters, and all the plants we've purchases have been healthy and beautiful. It's also a great stop for any hardware needs. I could gush forever, but suffice to say I love supporting Holod's!

Awesome service and variety of Landscaping supplies and plants! I traveled from Collegeville to visit this business because of their Professionalism, availability and pricing of products!

I really like this place they have a great selection of plants and supplies for your plants. I have bought a couple of Carolina reaper chili plants there and I still have them. Everybody who works there is extremely helpful. One thing if you’re trying to get out of there during rush hour it’s going to be really hard. But that is not their fault that’s traffic fault.

Such nice choices for your home. Beautiful flowers, pots, mulch & garden statutes. Flowers are from local growers.
Also a great hardware store that has lots of hard to find items.

I really cannot understand the bad reviews. I have been coming to Holod's for my plants for many years and never had a bad experience. I drive there all the way from University City, because they have a good selection and are reasonably priced. Especially, if you can wait until the 2 for 1 sales start.

I shopped there yesterday and they could not have been nicer. I asked them for their names, so I could mention them in this e-mail. Frank helped me pick the plants and carried them for me to the shelf and later to my car. I walk with crutches and can't carry flats. After that I needed some things inside and Tom was very friendly and upbeat and took me to the right isle. Sandy at the checkout was nice as well.
I am really astonished about the poor reviews.

They always have an option for what I need. They will always talk with me. Prices may be higher than big box in some cases, but not many, and they won't steer me wrong. I honestly love coming here for my yard care rentals, rentals for my business, and to just see what they have going on with their plants and other wares. I have been coming in for eight years now.

Dan was kind and patient with us around picking paints. He was informed and was willing to read the cans to help answer our questions. This store has plenty of unique designed items for the home . Go explore.

Such a great place to stop..They have pretty much everything you could possibly ever need!! The employees are all so nice and helping..I’ve rented a bunch of machines from them and Louis always had everything fueled up and ready to go never wasting any of my time..Also have great deals on delivery if you don’t have a truck..
