Bernie's Restaurant & Bar Glenside

I've been wanting to try their food for the past about three years, my second time in the establishment and first time trying it. I went Sunday afternoon. They have brunch open till 3 PM. And dinner starts at 4. The menu was a bit smaller than the dinner menu. however, everything was perfect waitress was helpful. Seating is nice multiple TVs to enjoy the game the food was great and in all around beautiful atmosphere. It is getting colder outside, but they do have outside dining available for summertime accommodations as well.

I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty busy but nonetheless the service was great. The food was tasty and well priced. I ordered a side of sausage and the Big Guy which came with French toast, 1 pancake, bacon, eggs, and home fries. I love how crispy the home fries were and the portions of the sausages. They also serve alcohol!

I highly recommend making a reservation before coming. Also the address on the site is wrong and the gps took me to a high school. The address on google is correct. It was inconvenient and annoying that the business website had the wrong address but thankfully I didn’t have to drive far to the correct address.

Great flavors with everything we ordered. We had the crabcake which was all crab!! The mussels were cooked to perfection. Everything was tasty and we will be sure to come back. The atmosphere makes it for easy entertaining. So excited for a place like this!! The filet, crispy beef and sauteed shrimp were all hits with our table!!

Decent size outdoor seating space. So far, all the different things I have eaten from this place was delicious! Also they have nice happy hour specials!

I have fallen in love with this restaurant for Brunch. I am having a Bernie's Brunch Bacon burger. Each time I try it the sunny side egg is perfect. The atmosphere is quite casual and there are large TV screens high on the walls allowing you to see whatever sporting events are occuring.
The wait staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They often come around to ensure that you are not lacking in anything.

Great food and drinks! The new outdoor tent is gorgeous and warm! Service was great too after a short wait in the beginning. We had a great night and will definitely be back. Thank you Bernies!!

I have been to this restaurant twice now and each time I have had great food, great atmosphere, and a great waiter/waitress. I would encourage you to make reservations on Friday and Saturday nights as they get full rather quickly.

Interior was very nice. Lots of natural light and a pretty fire place. Great for a cozy Saturday brunch. Staff is also very friendly. Ordered the eggs benedict and it was very delicious, potatoes on the side were also very good.

The shrimp and grits were amazing with bacon, mushrooms, and chives. It's the best I have had ever❤

Superb place to eat and hangout. The decor was beautiful. The food very delicious. The service was fantastic. Highly recommend to all!!

When this place 1st opened we used to go for happy hour all the time and loved it. . Never had a bad dish . Tonight was our 1st night back in a couple of years and there werw barely any tables filled for Friday night. We called ahead and were told We could have a table within half an hour. We got there in 15 minutes and they sat us immediately but explained that they were short staffed and it could be a 15 minute wait before anybody got to us. They actually got to us far sooner than that and the food was delicious. We got 2 types of wings and they were exceptional. My husband loved the mussels and the tuna. My daughter got the Buffalo chicken wrap which she said was equally amazing. I had the shaken beef with mashed potatoes recommended by the waitress (Stella) . It was room temperature but still delicious. They were obviously dealing with a staffing situation in the kitchen, and made mention of it apologizing perfusely, but the service was still amazing and the food delicious. Stella was fabulous.

10/10 tore it up! Y’all gotta go for sure. Food is amazing. Amazing service. Mimosas to die for.

As per the usual I was not disappointed..shrimp and grits this visit hands down was the best by far I have had outside of my own kitchen.

Hosted a 60th birthday party here and it was perfect! The whole party was so beautiful, and the food was delicious! Our waitress (Casey L) and the rest of the staff were so attentive and made the experience even better. Erin, the event planner, was so helpful and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back to dine!

I had an amazing time with my co workers at lotus beauty spa! Amazing staff service! The only thing I would suggest is to deep clean and scrub the silverware! The silverware had an oily film on them wrapped in clean napkins! We asked our server for plastic utensils to eat our food!

I am 58 years old and have eaten grits once in my life. It was not a pleasant experience. I don't live in the area and came to Bernie's with my birth father and his wife. One of the guests at our table ordered the Shrimp and Grits. I had to taste it because everuone tells me how good it is. Oh Dear God, I could not wait to come back and order them! It took a little less than a year but we came back and had the best lunch!!! Everything was delicious!! My Shrimp and Grits was outstanding along with my Purple Rain!!!

One of my favorite restaurants in the area, Bernie’s has a very cozy interior with a modern fireplace, and nice outdoor seating. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. The cocktails are always good, and the menu has lots of options! My favorites have been the fake meat wings, Parmesan punched potatoes, and salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans

Loved the atmosphere and the menu. Got the shaken beef since I was feeling getting something unique and it was unique and really good. The parmesan potatoes were great, the buffalo and blue cheese combo with it was different but worked and the Mexicali Mule was delicious. I was feeling hesitant about a tequila based mule since tequila and I haven't been friends ever and this was amazing. I will be ordering this again no questions asked

My co-workers organized a happy hour and we also celebrated my birthday. I do not eat meat so the seitan options were great. It was raining when we arrived so we did not stay outside, but the outdoor seating looked great. I will definitely be returning.
