My mom, sister and I have been clients of Elisa (at Headfirst) for over 20 years and there are a million reasons why!! She is the best colorist I have ever met! For years I have consistently gotten complements on my hair color and people ask both my sister and I if we are a natural blonde (me) or a natural redhead (my sister) all the time. We definitely are not! Elisa's cuts are fantastic and always on trend. Despite being a long term customer, she takes the time at each appointment to give me a full consultation and checks in about my wants and needs for my hair. Elisa offers honest and knowledgeable advice about what will look the best and what styles I can execute. She has also done the up dos for every major event in my life including my wedding and my sister's wedding. All of my friends and family get so excited if Elisa is available to do their hair for a special occasion. She is accommodating and flexible in her time. Anyone who sits in her chair will see that she is an amazing hair stylist with a kind and bubbly personality that is simply a pleasure to work with!

Have been going here since my high school years. My Red hair is very tricky and Elisa does an amazing job with both cut and color. The salon is very clean and the owner is one of my favorite people on the planet.

Everyone is amazing at Headfirst. I have been client for over 30+ years. I live in the city and travel to Headfirst ever 5 weeks. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

I am from the city (recently moved to Oreland). I was trying to grow my hair out (thus, the dark roots). I specifically had the back of my hair cut in a wedge from my previous hairstylist with longer layers on the side.

"Okay job," on highlights (I have had better). After a week, and only two shampoos using salon purple shampoo....are now faded yellow and brassy. The stylist had a "plan," and picture to cut my hair shorter. I said. "No." She went ahead and cut the back of my hair the way, she wanted it. Sides are short also (goodbye planned bob and $50 worth of biotin pills).

I called the stylist. We might as well go short. I was willing to pay another $50. She was rude. Very rude. She was insinuating, I was trying to get a free cut. "Long story short." Faded highlights, a weird cut (not one compliment on my hair from friends or colleagues). I always have compliments. Going to the, "Architects," in Center City to have more highlights and a great cut (I sent my picture in).

When your stylist has never heard of Powder Play (a volumizer and texturizing powder that goes for $25....red flags went off). Sticking with the pros in the city.
