I have to agree - Mary only gets 5 stars because that is all that are allowed. She is amazing. Drove us around for days looking for property when we weren't completely sure what we were looking for. We finally found a building lot in an area we didn't think we wanted to be in (thanks to Mary's intuition). We love where we are and continue to meet up with Mary occasionally (we owe her a lifetime of lunches).

Sooo I found this amazing person named Mary that helped me during an exciting, but stressful time in life. Purchasing a home. Mary went above and beyond in this process and I am so grateful. Also, she’s very knowledgeable and kinda funny, will force you to be her friend. Kidding, I earned a good friend during this adventure! Thank you, again, Mary!

Mary is extremely knowledgable, professional, and kind. She does an incredible amount of research to make sure your home is priced right. I cannot say enough fantastic things about our experience with Mary. She assisted us in finding the perfect home in an extremely challenging market. Mary only gets 5 stars because that is all that the allow, she is worth so many more. I may be one of her clients that have taken the longest to finally close. Mary and I started this journey about 6 years ago. After my divorce I was looking to buy but life got in the way. She never gave up on me and we have stayed in touch until I was ready again about a month ago. I told her I was ready and we hit the streets that day looking at potential homes. Mary is truly a full service realtor. When things came up that could potentially derail my purchase, like my lender's office closing, she was texting and calling to make sure I was ok and to assure me that we were still in good shape. She has been amazing every step of the way. She has gotten to know me well enough that we could walk into a house that we both thought would be a winner and she would just look at me and I knew it was wrong. She would always go through what was wrong and why it was wrong for me.
Mary is simply amazing and I can't say enough good things about her. When I was completely stressed out she was able to help me through it. Start to finish, I can't recommend her enough. If you get a chance to work with her, you'll know what I mean! Love her!!!

Realtors are not created equal and I'm pretty sure that is because no realtor can measure up to Mary Barnett. She's caring and supportive, listens to what you really want and need in a home, and most importantly understands that the home buying process is about you, not about her getting a sale. I couldn't recommend Mary more, she deserves at least a 10 star rating on the 5 star scale. If you are looking for a realtor, want the home buying process to be smooth and fun, Mary is the realtor for you!

My wife and I were introduced to Mary through our local realtor in California with whom we have bought or sold several properties. We had never been to the Boise area and we wanted to get a feel for the various possible neighborhoods.

We had been looking for a suitable place to move/retire-slowly and escape the complete nuttiness of the SF Bay Area (not to mention the taxes). Boise was the last place on our investigation list.

Over two-day period, Mary took us on real estate tour through the valley, showing us the neighborhoods with homes in our price range. In the process she gave us a good sense for each area from Downtown Boise out to Nampa and Caldwell. She is very knowledgeable about the history and the culture of the area.

Mary is an extremely good listener. She quickly picked up on the types of properties that might fit our requirements and directed us to areas and homes that would work.

The real estate market in Boise is very, very hot. After our visit, we decided that Boise was just what we were looking for. We started watching homes for sale in the areas that we liked while Mary did some research for us into buying into one of the new developments.

As it turned out, we found a great house. It went on the market on Thursday, Mary looked at/video toured it for us on Friday, we put together an offer on Saturday and it was ours before lunch on Sunday. Her offer strategy (and our relatively uncomplicated offer) won over the seller.

We were only aware of the next closest offer, but according to our new neighbor there was lots of interest (it was priced aggressively).

Without Mary we would probably still be searching for a home months later.

Mary was amazing to work with. Mary was patient, professional and understanding. Mary worked hard to make sure we get what we wanted and that we are happy with our purchase. Even after the sale, Mary continues to be awesome and helpful. I would definitely hire Mary to take care of our next sale and or purchase other properties.

Mary helped us navigate the sale of our home and subsequent search of new home in such a doting and gracious way. It’s no secret that the current real estate market in Boise is a battlefield. And Mary is battle tested and ready in the best ways possible. Highly recommend!
