Have been with this travel agency for years. They have very nice trips and service. If i could have given them 10 stars i would. Much recommended.

Just came from Czech, Austria and Hungary trip. Combined filling - greedy and caddish Lev Kushnir. Small group of just 12 people. 7 of 12 came a day before and accommodate in the same hotel as he. Next day we have to go to airport to meet rest of our group. Bus came to hotel to pick us up but Mr. Kushnir requested 6 euros per person to drive to airport. He unforced a new policy: you late for a bus in the morning (even for 5 minutes) you have to buy a bottle of wine. It wouldn't be a big deal if we use it by a group at the last day as a goodbye party. But, it was no last day party and he left with 3 bottles of wine. HA-HA-HA. I would consider organization of a trip absolutely not acceptable. His caddish behavior far away from professional. It is easy for him to insult people without thinking second time. I do not recommend this company at all.

I am outraged by the actions or lack thereof by Lev Kushner from Pilgrim Group. My mother had a misfortune of traveling with him to Dominican Republic’s resort in La Romana Dec 2-12.
During her stay, she fell unconscious and drowned in the ocean. Miraculously her roommate Natalia noticed her disappearance and immediately yelled for help (beach lifeguards were missing!).
By the time she was rescued from the ocean, she was “gone”, blue and purple and not breathing. Thankfully, with the efforts of tourists including one American doctor, she was revived from the dead. However, with lungs full of water and unconscious, she was driven an hour away to Punta Cana private clinic, decision made by the resort’s doctor.
Lev Kushner, the group lead, pretty much abandoned her, while remaining at the resort. He found me half a day later to solicit my credit card for 8K USD so my mom can be transferred into Intense care unit. When asked why he did not accompany a person in emergency (for all I know people gone missing in Dominican before) to the hospital, Lev Kushner declined to answer.
Also, Lev made sure to sneak into her room, find her wallet and collected her 125$ cash to pay for the taxi from the hospital. Oh, he opened an insurance claim. So much from the group lead!
When I tried getting in touch with Irina from Pilgrim Group, I got screamed and cursed by her, meanwhile Lev continued ignoring my calls.
This is not about the money, insurances, or claims. This is about a basic negligence of responsibilities by Lev Kushner that could’ve cost person her life.
Abandoning (by not going with her to the hospital) a person in state of emergency without cash, in a third world country, while under his care, and when it mattered mostly - a matter of life or death, is what Lev Kushner is about.
Be aware, when traveling with Lev Kushner and Pilgrim Group, and get ill, you are screwed. You may get lucky and survive or else, you become “a number” or a story of yet another American missing in Dominican Republic, while your tour lead enjoyed himself at the beach.
