The Farm House Restaurant

Great place for a date night. Small main dining area made it feel intimate. I got the bison short rib and my wife got the scallops. Both were very good. The short rib was slow cooked and very tender. The scallops were seared just right, without overcooking. Calamari appetizer was very good as well.

Me and six of my brood dined here for my birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. When I was choosing a restaurant a few days before, I realized my options were quite limited given my birthday was falling on a Monday and so many fine dining establishments are closed on Mondays and often Tuesdays. So The Farmhouse was one of the few that were open and I am so thankful this was the case otherwise I might've landed elsewhere.

Once I reviewed the menu, saw a few photos of the place and the food, I grew rather excited and rightfully so, as it turns out. It is located in a picturesque setting, the building's grounds and exterior are lovely, as is interior and the ambiance. We were greeted and seated promptly by Alex who would also be our server. Hats off to him. We received excellent service throughout. He was attentive, gracious, accommodating and skilled. He was even kind enough to oblige my request to take a couple pictures for us before we left.

The espresso martini was top notch. For appetizers the table tried the calamari, roasted Brussels sprouts (yum), chicken noodle soup, and the shrimp (much like bang bang shrimp but it's called something else here I can't recall at the moment). Everything was delicious. My mom is a huge calamari fan and she says it was one of her favorites here. I agree. The shrimp was amazing too. Well shucks honestly everything was. Several of us had the salmon, another had the crab cakes, one had a burger, another the pasta carbonara.

Everybody was very pleased if not raving about their food. Next time I go I really want to try the bison short ribs (and everything else I'll try subsequently)! Now about dessert... this is my forte...I had the pumpkin creme brulee and let me tell you my mouth is watering now. I loved the seasonal spin on this classic. It was so good! Alex even put a birthday candle on the plate as he heard my mom say it was my birthday! 😁

Delicious food in a quiet area. The farmhouse itself is beautifully restored but the outdoor patio seating overlooking the golf course is absolutely the best place to be on an autumn evening!

*update 2/24 - I just discovered they have a lovely upstairs dining area that can seat about 25 people - would be perfect for a small group gathering.

This restaurant is located on a golf course. In the winter the crowds are smaller with a very pleasant atmosphere. The chef easily managed my food allergy. The server was friendly and helpful for menu choices. Both meals were delicious and well prepared. It's a little pricey but worth the money! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredible all around. Unfortunately don't remember waitress name but she was amazing. She was helpful with questions about the menu and suggestions when my friend and I couldn't decide. Very attentive. When we mentioned we were going to share a salad she/ kitchen staff put it on 2 plates for us. And when we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday she brought a candle to put in our delicious deserts. Loved the fire pits outside.

Just amazing all around. Only had the French dip prime rib and a cup of Manhattan clam chowder with a salad but taste was great. Wife had crab cake and salad. Amazing food and service. First time here but will return.

Spent one of the most beautiful days.sitting on the patio enjoying the scenery and having a delightful brunch with an old friend. The service was great and our waiter was so very pleasant. This was our first time to The Farm House but will certainly not be the last! Thanks for a great dining experience!

Fantastic experience. Refreshments before a long hike at nearby trails then dinner under the moon. The calamari was so fresh with a delicious sauce. The short ribs not only were generous in portion, they were so flavorful, tender and juicy. The accompanying mashed potato and Brussels spouts rounded out a throughly delicious meal! 5 stars all the way!!!

Took my wife here for our wedding anniversary. Best duck breast I've ever had. Top notch service & friendly staff. If I could I'd rate 10 stars. My wife really enjoyed her salmon too. Looking forward to our next trip back

Absolutely delicious and fantastic service

We really enjoyed it here, the weather was beautiful for outdoor seating - the drinks were good but they seemed to be out of a few things on the menu. Price was reasonable for 4 people and just over $200 - the brisket mac and cheese and chocolate cake 5/5 - the meat loaf 3/5 - would dine here again bc she kept bringing me soda 🥰

Held my sisters bridal shower at the Farmhouse Restaurant and it was perfect! Justine is so sweet and a pleasure to work with! The other staff was wonderful too! Food was delicious!

Not only is the Farm house a perfect place for dinner, but also a great place to host your private event! The staff is amazing the food and atmosphere just perfect! Thank you Hans and Crew!

EDIT: Spoke with Jonathan regarding my original post. It is so wonderful to have concerns addressed! We will be back soon with my in-laws, so happy with the atmosphere, food, staff and how much they care about their customers' experiences.

Was a little disappointed this time (second dining experience there). After three separate attempts at ordering a bottle of wine, found one they actually had in stock. Went with my husband and in-laws. Everyone's dinner except my mother in law's came out together, was told hers would be "4 more minutes". 15 minutes later, we flagged wait staff over asking where her dinner was.....5 minutes after THAT, her dinner was delivered to the table. I don't know if they forgot, if they burned it the first time around, etc. The food itself was wonderful, and the staff were pleasant. I wouldn't let this deter going back, just felt bad that she had to wait so long for her meal (we were giving her some off of our plates so we weren't eating without her).

Stopped here for lunch on the spur of the moment while out for a drive. This very quaint restaurant has delicious food and friendly service. We plan to try it for dinner sometime soon.

I have been a regular customer of both Skippack golf course and Farmhouse restaurant for over 4 years, I would highly recommend them both. Both general managers Nick and Tim of Skippack golf course and the Farmhouse restaurant are dedicated and caring proprietors who take great pride in their business and care of their customers..., the course is well groomed and fun to play ..., and the food and atmosphere at the farmhouse restaurant over looking the golf course are fantastic !!! The staff at both the course and the restaurant are equally as amazing and welcoming !!! Go you will not be disappointed ..,

Great food and service. The parsnip soup and reuben sandwich were both amazing.

My husband and I were there on Saturday for some drinks/dessert. Travis was bartending and made me an excellent martini! One of the best I've ever had. I love their banana foster dessert too. I've been there several times and the food is always good and service is great. Nice, friendly staff! I highly recommend making reservations. Today we went there for lunch and Irene was fantastic! My only complaint is that the menus have changed since we were there on Saturday. I was shocked! The martini list was gone and so was the banana foster I came to know and love! Those were two big reasons for going here and they were gone! I certainly didn't expect changes like that within a few days and over a holiday (today was Valentine's Day). Very disappointed in the menu switch, but service was still outstanding, staff was as friendly and rolling with the changes as ever, I just really wish they still had the same martini list or something comparable to it. Only martini on the new list was a grapefruit martini that I'd never order in a million years. However, still had a great drink that Irene whipped up for me to make my Valentine's Day special!

spent a day that was really lovely.savouring a delicious brunch with an old friend while relaxing on the terrace and taking in the scenery. Our waiter was incredibly polite, and the service was excellent. We visited The Farm House for the first time this time, but it won't be the last. I appreciate a wonderful dining experience.

We decided to have a lunch here following the service of our mother passing and it was fabulous.
Excellent service, excellent food!!!
