Citron & Rose Tavern

I recently had a meal at this restaurant, and overall, this experience left a deep impression on me. These dishes have a delicious taste, are cooked perfectly, have a balanced texture and spices, and are paired with a rich and delicious sauce. The side dishes include crispy French fries and fresh, strong salads. The service was also pretty good. I will bring my friends again next time.

My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary here, and we'll definitely be returning. The braised short ribs and demonico steak were amazing! Cooked perfectly! I also could have made a meal just out of the cheesesteak egg rolls. This restaurant is perfect for a nice date night, or special occasions. Definitely recommend when looking for a classy fleishig restaurant in greater Philadelphia area.

Been here a few times when I was in the Philly area. Was really impressed with the dishes. Food was excellent and the service as well.

Love Citron and Rose! Great to have such an awesome restaurant in the neighborhood. They’re very accommodating (worked with my sister who’s GF - she had plenty of options!) staff is always great and love the ambiance. Highly recommend if you’re in the Philly area!

Food was some of the best I’ve ever had. The Duck Taco for starters and Chicken and Waffles for a main was a delight to the senses. Kept asking for more Jalapeño Syrup because it was so good. Wait staff was very friendly and service was quick.
Also do yourself a favor and get the New Orleans Crepe... it is incredible.

Really fantastic place: the food (hamburgers) was great, french fries a bit salty though. They have cocktails and a candle on each table. The space is brilliantly designed with various seating options. Highly recommended.

I split the brisket appetizer and half smoked chicken with someone who doesn't keep kosher. I loved it! My friend loved it also. Normally, they hate kosher restaurants, so this is very high praise.

Highly Recommend. This place is Wonderful. I randomly came here with friends after work to try something new and was shocked at how amazing it was. The food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere has a nice vibe to it. If you are lucky you will have Beatriz as your server. She is incredible and really knows the menu. I was impressed as she waited tables and made drinks flawlessly on what appeared to be a busy night. Carlos the manager is great too as he would check-in to ensure we were having a great experience.

I ordered a Pastrami Prime-Rib and the Ahi appetizer dish. Both were phenomenal.

Lovely place to visit when in center city Philadelphia. Food was delicious and decent sized portions as well. Our waitress Beatrice was extremely knowledgeable, timely, and very pleasant as all the restaurant staff. Will definitely come again when visiting!

Excellent service by Julio and Daniel. They made our dinner feel so welcoming and warm. Food was incredible. Especially the Philly egg rolls. I wish they had this style of food and service in my hometown. Can't wait to come back.

Perfect lunch at this fantastic kosher restaurant outside of Philly - I’m from NYC and haven’t had such good kosher food in New York!! The vibe of the restaurant is upscale while so welcoming and homey, you’re taken care of like a friend at Citron & Rose! The steaks are out of this world, so is the tuna and so arr the desserts! And the bar serves up amazing cocktails and great wine. So much fun for a perfect meal with friends or a spot to celebrate a special event with loved ones. Carlos at the front will take care of you and is such a sweetheart explaining all the dishes and accommodating any food sensitivities or special requests!! Can’t wait to go back

Gorgeous home feeling ambiance. Delicious food fast service. 2 years later it's still my favorite restaurant!

Writing this review for my mom, who dined here last night, and asked me to do so, advising Julio had taken excellent care of her and my stepfather, and that he was an terrific disposition and is on-point with his work.

Really gorgeous ambience. Delicious food. Our waiter Julio was very attentive and helpful.

Julio was great, explaining the dishes, making recommendations, and ensuring we were well taken care of. He’s a phenomenal mixologist too!

Staff is very friendly. Cobb salad had duck bacon - never had that before, but I certainly will again. The manager suggested Clyde Mays Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which was a real treat. Will certainly dine here again when I am in Philly.

Dinner for 5, tonight, five different entries ranging from steak to sandwiches to chicken dishes. Everyone enjoyed. We are repeat customers and will be back.

My wife and I visited this establishment about a year ago. We were not happy. Tonight we decided why not try it again? May I just say I’m glad we did. The waiter (Julio) was great. He took his time with us, and was not only professional but also friendly. Thank you Citron. You guys were great. And by the way we had the tomahawk steak. 10 out of 10.
