El Rey De Oros Restaurant

I saw their menu and could not resist. I have been craving pupusas since I left the DMV 2 years ago. There we have a VERY extensive Sal/Mex/Peruvian amount of options- 30+ in walking distance.

This takes me there. The MOST authentic, delicious, inexpensive food in the area. PLEASE DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS.

I've had the sopes/carnitas taco/pupusas.

They are absolutely LEGIT- please please please keep this new local business alive and grab some! They are phenomenal!

If you want no frills , with down to earth ,genuine and friendly service, then El Rey De Oro should be on your checklist for a decent Mexican /Salvadoran fare.
They now have dine in service after all the restrictions, and they have delivery and take out as well.

The decor is simple with emphasis on their culture through the Display of both Mexican and Salvadoran flags that adorn one of the walls. A giant menu just outside the restaurant displays all the items and straightforwardly broken down according to specific items.

I had their Pupusas before and the flavors were spot on; during this last visit, I went with gusto for their Chorizo Burrito....Do Not pass this up! Crisp shredded lettuce and a very fragrant refried beans were served on the side. I requested to skip the guacamole and they gladly accommodated my request, and gladly gave me a good amount side of the rice filling on the side . The prices were fair and a good value for the amount of food you get. Horsham has a nice simple gem in their neck of the woods definitely.

Tried this place with a large group of coworkers, they were able to accommodate our group and food came out quickly with no issues. Great food, homemade tortillas, lots of variety on the menu. We’ll come again!

We live in this area of the world only 2 months a year. Seeking an exceptional Mexican toe restaurant, we stumbled upon El Rey De Oros Restaurant from Google Maps.
We have found our number one choice for Mexican food in the Northern Philadelphia area. We ordered various quesadillas, not wanting a heavy meal late in the day, with some Pico de gallo & guacamole. The freshest tasting and most filling ever.
Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Looking forward to our future visits to try so many more items off of the menu.

My family and I love the Authentic food. Well prepared and Great customer service.
We had asada tostadas
And horchata for drinks.

Tacos are my go to. Usually get the carne asada, chicken, and or carnitas. They keep it simple with cilantro, onions, and lime. Less is more.

My partner and I went here on a date night and were very pleased. The free nachos and salsa were delicious. The chicken tacos were great, as were the beans and rice. Everyone was very kind and service was very fast. We were charmed by the plants on the tables and colorful atmosphere. It was like we found a hidden gem and we'll definitely head back with our kids sometime (they'd love the claw machine). I wish I took photos, but I snarfled my food down quickly.

Authentic Authentic Authentic! No matter where I visit, my goal is to try local taco spots. El Rey de Oros is TOP NOTCH! Great lengua tacos and dont forget the delicious Pupusa. If I am ever in town again, I will definitely be back! Tha ks for a delicious meal.

I've been eating at El Rey for about 10 years now. The staff is wonderful and the food has been amazing every step of the way. Their pupusas are always 100% on point and their carnitas is great on everything ESPECIALLY the Carnitas fries which have become the #1 item recommended by my coworkers. If you want food good enough to make your soul dance try this place out.

Beautiful restaurant with great fish tacos! This was my first time eating here and it did not disappoint. The tortillas were nice and thin, and my food even came with slices of lime. Even though the tacos had a little too much sauce, I was still able to taste everything. My dad thought the menu was hard to understand, and the restaurant was a bit cramped (but cute anyway). I would definitely order from here again! 🌮

Great food! Wonderful staff! I tried bean and cheese pupusas for the first time. Husband had a beef burrito combo. Delicious! Quiet, small restaurant.

This place is great! Delicious food, always friendly service. Only have gotten takeout there but someday plan to dine in. Favorite dishes: pupusa & chorizo burritos!

This place was awesome! Food was home made and fresh. The gentleman that took our order and helped us through our meal was outstanding. Very friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive. I'm not from the area and tried this place on a whim. If I lived here, I would be a regular for sure!

Mexican Coca-Cola (just so there's no confusion), nachos with carne asada, chicken and cheese pupusas, and steak tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious. Super friendly and attentive (but unobtrusive) wait staff. First time there - already looking forward to trying different menu options on the next trip!

I've been here at least a dozen times. The owners are outstanding and remember you when you come back. All of the food is fresh and delicious. It's the kind of place I'm happy to see crowded because it means everyone else is enjoying it and I'm not at risk of losing my favorite local Mexican spot. Don't forget to check out the convenience store they own at the other end of the shopping center.

Food was excellent absolutely authentic and delicious every single thing that they serve me and my children. The service was very very good as well very friendly and attentive. Now all they have to do is update the restaurant and they will be the perfect place for me to go every time I am in the mood for Mexican!
