First-time visit and couldn't be happier. While the restaurant was full, we didn't have to wait long for our table for a party of six. Our waitress Nina made us feel right at home, as did the owner Ken who spoke with us while waiting for a table.

Staff was spot on with service and a smile. While we had a waitress, all hands were on deck to ensure our experience was exceptional. Of course, that service has to be backed up with delicious food and it was exactly that. Plates we're cleared!

Had a great time and look forward to going back again the next time I’m in Philly.

Loved the sunshine cafe! Usually when I write a review, I'm mainly focused on the food, and while the food here was good (I had the cheesesteak omelette) the service was spectacular! They had mostly young high-school aged kids working but everyone had a job and seemed to do that job outstandingly. The sunshine cafe staff was a well oiled machine. Great old school diner type place. I will be back!

Stopped here twice while working in the area. Staff was extremely welcoming, food was prepared quickly, everything tasted great. Owner came over to chat for a minute. Thoroughly pleasant and personal experience.

This place is awesome. Was in from out of town and needed a breakfast spot. The parking lot was so packed we thought no way we would get a seat. But it is big inside and has a back patio area with a ton of tables. Great service. Filled our coffee cups like 10 times! It's seat yourself, so no need to wait at the counter and ask for a table.

Great lunch here with a friend early this week. Owner Ken and waitress Nina were so welcoming and friendly, stopping by table for a chat. Back porch was nicely heated and had tons of room.

Menu was broad, breakfast all day- lots of vegetarian options for me. Veggie omelette had broccoli, which I love! Sourdough bread on my friend’s breakfast sandwich.

Will definitely be back & taking friends.

Such an inviting atmosphere that you feel the moment you walk through the door and the staff greets you. My family and I have eaten here several times and each time the service and food exceeded our expectations. The food is just so good it's hard not to request a second serving (we have done that once). We usually have Nina as our waitress and she is fantastic. Nina always get the order right and she makes sure that we have everything that we need to make our dining experience a delightful one. We love eating at this restaurant.

In my opinion, this place has the best breakfast anywhere nearby. The food is served piping hot. The wait staff is amazingly friendly and on their game. The food is, of course, delicious. But it's more than that. For example, most places offer French Toast that tastes like it came out of a box. Here it tastes like real food. There's no way I can completely describe how good this place is... But it's always busy and packed with a LONG line on the weekends. So a lot of people agree, this is the place to go.

This is the second weekend in a row that my husband and I visited this place with our two daughters. Both times was a pleasant experience. Restaurant clean, friendly staff, prices fair and food absolutely delicious. Today I ordered the funnel cake french toast and my daughter ordered the s’mores french toast. Both were amazing. This is our new spot to dine for breakfast.

Consistently great food, we had great service and the prices are great. We sat ourselves immediately. The service was outstanding. We are definitely making this our spot. The menu has great selection choices as well

A warming and hearty place to eat! The atmosphere is very friendly. Affordable prices for a well portion, delicious food. Best coffee I got in long time! Highly recommended.

I love this place. First of all I will like to complement the server miss Carly S , she is amazing in everything. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was packed with guest and the food came out lighting fast. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and delicious. Most definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

Good food, fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices and nice size portions. One the better places in the area for breakfast hands down.

I can’t say enough about Sunshine cafe. Their breakfast burger and funnel fries are fantastic! Go get yourself some. Yum!

We just had to leave quick for a cat emergency, and our server (I didn’t catch her name) was very sweet and understanding! Top notch for customer service!!!!

I had one of the breakfast specials and coffee. All were very good. Server was attentive and cute too!

Enjoyed a Turkey BLT with my daughter. Pleasant lunch after playing 18 holes of Mini golf at Waltz nearby. Highly recommend

Always good food - price is right - friendly service - if I lived closer I'd be a regular - and you get the idea when you're there that there are tons of happy "regulars" that make this cafe a second home!
