I started taking my vehicle to Jim’s a few months ago on recommendation from my sister who has been a customer for several years. His service is excellent. Work is done in a timely manner. He takes the time to explain what has to be done because my vehicle is twelve years old with low mileage and certain maintenance is required. I feel his prices are reasonable…much better than the dealer’s for the same work. No more going back to the dealer for me. I give him an A plus rating and highly recommend his services.

Jim and his guys have been taking care of our cars for almost twenty years. I never get the sense that they are trying to push unnecessary work on me. They understand that people are trying to be responsible to take care of their cars while not incurring unnecessary expense. They've been generous about doing small things without charge. I trust them and will continue to take our cars to them!

Fantastic experience. I’m a new customer and had an urgent issue with my car, Jim got me in right away and was able to get it fixed and get my car back to me on the SAME DAY. So far it’s running beautifully, and the prices were fair.

This man, Jim, is a GOOD person! My daughter and I traveled over 3 hours so that she could attend a show at the Keswick Theatre. Halfway to Glenside her vehicle started to act up when starting out after a stop. I was so worried about the trip home, fearful of being stranded, so I found this business after a google search. I called right away the next morning and they told us to bring it over and they would fit us in and check it out. They even directed us to a cafe where we could spend some time while they did so. After driving it and checking some things out they told us what they thought was wrong, recommending that we have our mechanics look at it when we get home, but that it would get us there the way it was. He was right, we got home safely! Plus, he would not take anything for checking it out! If the world was filled with people and businesses like this what an amazing place it would be. My daughter and I are so grateful for the help and peace of mind he gave us for our trip home, and hope for many blessings for Jim and his business. I would give this business more than 5 stars if I could!

I called Jim for a last minute PA inspection after my usual mechanic couldn't make the time for me. They were very professional, polite, upfront about pricing, and called me as soon as the car was done. The store was very clean and organized. Will definitely go back if needed!

Jim’s is a great auto mechanic shop. 2 weeks ago I was leaving for work and noticed my wife’s car had a flat tire. I contacted Jim’s and he was able to get the tire temporarily inflated, drove it down to the shop, and repaired the tire. The entire service and repair cost $55. With his help, I was able to get to work on time,and my wife had the repaired car back before noon. Definitely a 5-star performance. Highly recommended.

They got me in and out for an alternator and front brake replacement on a Monday without an appointment. Great communication from Jim and the rest of the guys and the prices were fair. I like the early hours and the location is great for drop off and pick up because they are near Public transportation. Because it's an independent shop, you don't get the hard sell for unnecessary services like you would at franchise/chain car care places. I'll be sure to come again for my car care needs in the future.

I've had my car in twice here. Both times I've been extremely happy with the service. Jim is honest and his prices are reasonable. I've definitely found a shop I feel comfortable continuing to go back to. 😊

It was a good experience, they were very professional and they were very helpful with my situation. I called the day before stating I have an oil leak he said I can bring the car in the next day they looked at the car and they repaired my vehicle and I have not had any issues since. The pricing was not bad because when I checked with Toyota a few months back they were saying this may cost me a few thousand dollars to repair. it was less than a thousand. The next day they texted me just to check in and see how I was doing. Great job it was extremely helpful and I have found me a new mechanic
