I have been going to MIXD Salon since it opened three-plus years ago. I used to travel 30 mins to get my hair colored and styled and I’m thrilled they are close to my home. Brian is a fantastic stylist. He has a great instinct for color and style and I highly recommend him as well as the salon in general; so much so that I have purchased gift certificates for family and friends and they have become longstanding clients. Jasmine the owner of the salon is professional and friendly, and has created a beautiful and welcoming space and I love the clean Aveda products they sell. As a bonus, they have an awesome playlist going all the time! To All at MIXD Salon, thanks for being a part of the Chestnut Hill Community. ❤

I can't speak highly enough of this fantastic hair salon! I can sometimes feel very awkward and put off when entering a salon, however, from the moment I walk in to MIXD, the staff makes me feel incredibly welcome. Everyone is very friendly and so helpful. Brian, my stylist, is nothing short of a hair wizard. His knowledge and skill shine through as he continues to make perfect choices when styling my hair. What truly sets him apart is his exceptional listening skills; he takes the time to understand my preferences and is incredibly respectful of my wishes. I always leave happy. . I have been a client at MIXD for over 2 years. Brian, my stylist, has always given me amazing haircuts. His suggestions keep my hair looking great. I appreciate that he listens to my preferences but is able to make suggestions to make a more polished cut.

The cuts and stylings I receive are some of the best I have ever received. The gray shine treatment makes my natural gray “highlights” pop. The salon and staff provide a relaxing experience.

I was in need of some serious hair care and fresh ideas. Jasmine (hope I spelled her name right) is fantastic. She took the time to go over my current hair care routine and what I was trying to accomplish. Love the results! The cut, color and overall treatment is second to none.

My stylist, Sissi was excellent; she took time to talk with me about my hair and helped me decide on color. The result was amazing! The Salon is beautifully appointed and clean, (important during the pandemic!) I'll be back!

Amazing salon! The staff is accommodating, professional and talented. The Aveda products are to die for. The hot towel wrap is transforming for both my hair and my stress level! Jasmine's blow outs are gorgeous!!

The professionalism and service at MIXD Salon is absolutely second to none. Jasmine has created a really relaxed vibe with a great staff. And I've never had such an amazing haircut, time after time. Can't recommend MIXD Salon enough!

Let me start off by saying! I don't play about my hair it is a representation of who I am. When I tell you Jasmine is nothing short of amazing, she helped me to figure out my style and what I wanted, and baby let me tell you, the hair is fierce. The salons esthetic is such a vibe with beautiful details oh and let's not forget the professionalism. When I sat in Jasmine’s chair it felt like back in the day when your mom would take you to the hairdresser, she is not only a genius on the hair, but very relatable. I just loved my experience, see you next time.

I absolutely love this salon! The experience was outstanding! All of the stylists and staff are welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and offered complimentary drinks ( coffee, Aveda tea, and boxed water. My shampoo was relaxing. I was informed of each product that was used and its benefits. I am a woman of color with natural hair (thick/coarse) and Aveda smooth infusion and nutriplenish paired well with my silk press for great lasting results. I will definitely be returning! My search is finally over! Love love love this salon! Had the best haircut and color by Brian who was meticulous in his approach. Decided on a major change…gray blending! So pleased with the gorgeous results and the cut is perfect!

Loved every aspect of my visit -- from the intake form/history, to the coffee, to the wash, and of course the cut and style!

Sissi did a wonderful job bringing my hair back to life! I am very low maintenance with my hair, but she showed me a very easy technique for adding some volume and texture to my straight hair. (Literally demo-ed how to do it and how it would look for me to do it on my own hair.)

One of the absolute best salon experiences I've ever had! Brian listened to all my concerns and requests to whip my curly and frizzy hair into shape. He is super knowledgeable about hair and worked his magic to give me beautiful beach wave hair, just what I wanted! I am grateful for him taking his time and caring about his client experience. I truly loved my whole experience at Mixd Salon, from checking in to checking out. What an awesome salon, I will definitely be back!

I'm very weary of people touching my hair in terms of color, but I saw that this was an Aveda salon and had a lot of good reviews. They were able to get me in the salon the day after I filled out a request on their website. They were phenomenal! Everyone was so kind and friendly. Ava was my stylist and even though she's young, her skills did not disappoint! I absolutely loved her personality and we were able to easily fill the 4 hours with plenty of conversation. She's very knowledgeable and I loved the hair that I walked out with!

My experience at mixd salon was awesome. I went on MIXD salon's website, selected which style I wanted, made a deposit (of course the deposit was added to the over all cost). I showed up about 15 min late and I was still seen as soon as I walked in. The shop is beautiful and very clean. I loved how my highlights and trim turned out. Sissi was my stylist she did a phenomenal job! Initially I wasn't sure what color I wanted but sissi was very patient with me and helped me look over colors. I will definitely be returning soon. I would post pictures to show my highlights but I don't know how.
