There are many words & things that could be said about The Historic Easton Cemetery but I think only one singular word can really sum it up & that word is BEAUTIFUL! It's walkable, admirable, & a very large cemetery to peruse around! *WELL WORTH THE TIME & ENERGY*! The cemetery is also immaculately maintained! I mean there are graves from the 1800's time 🕙 period that are still decipherable & that's just IMPRESSIVE!

A attended a guided tour of the Cemetery this past Sunday (4/21/2024) and was amazed at it's beauty & historical significance for the town of Easton. The monuments & craft displayed in the cemetery speak well for past residents of the town. I'd also add that the young lady who led the walk was very nice.

One of the most beautiful of cemeteries! Easton Cemetery's parklike cemetery landscape design is based on the picturesque romantic styles of the early and late 19th century. Its landscape is set with thousands of examples of funeral artwork, in a variety of decorative styles, spanning Greco-Roman Revival, Gothic Victorian, and Art Deco. Established in 1849, Easton Cemetery is the earliest and best surviving example of a romantic parklike cemetery within the Lehigh Valley metro area. Architecturally noteworthy features include a Gothic Revival Gatehouse and office, stable, cemetery chapel, and a Gothic frame workshop.
