I enjoy living at Chestnut Hill Village, I’m approaching my first year here and have no complaints. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. I have no issue with management or maintenance. Maintenance works fast to solve any issues that may arrive.

Lovely Community. I just moved in this month and the staff was very helpful with me and my 91 yr old aunts move. Any issues that I had for repairs, the maintenance staff (Joy and Jose) were very fast in answering my complaints and fixing them. I look forward to being a long term resident here at Blossom Row (Chestnut Hill Village).😊

Well-maintained community! Very clean apartments and extremely professional leasing staff. Liya was the best! I could not be more happy with my decision to move here due to convenient location and cleanliness of the area.

We were looking for an apartment for a week. Once we saw Blossom Row we couldn't pass it up! To have a townhouse with a finished basement and small yard at such a great price, it was the perfect choice for us.

The staff was nice, sometimes hard to get a hold of, but we were able to move in quickly. Rene really sold us on the complex and all the amenities. Derek (head of maintenance I think) has been so helpful to make sure everything is taken care of.

Great place to live; close to shops, transportation, and local walking trails. Responsive and professional maintenance team.

I’ve had the same issues as two other reviewers. One the so called scheduled appointment to view the townhouse, no one was available and I drove 2 hours. Eventually I rented anyway, as I was starting a new job and needed a place ASAP.
I’m also having issues with parking. They’ve without a doubt oversold the amount of spaces. If you get home past a certain time, it’s almost impossible to find a spot, despite paying for it.
I don’t think this place is worth the money for many reasons (quality of flooring, water and ants in basement, cost of monthly water bill, parking, to name a few) and from what I understand, the rent is going to significantly increase.

The home itself is very nice, but ever since we signed the lease we have had issues getting in contact with the leasing office. Our biggest complaint at the moment is that we are paying $15 a month for parking and yet there are never spaces available when we return for the evening. I can't explain how frustrating it is to have to park on the street after paying for parking and being told by the leasing agents that "parking will never be a problem, there's always space!" We've lived here less than two weeks and on three separate occasions after returning home at 9:30 PM were unable to park in the lot. One of the huge benefits to us in living here was off-street parking and now not only are we paying for it, we're not able to use the spaces.

Update: After waiting 3 weeks from the manager response, we still have not heard anything from the employees the parking situation. Not even to inform us of our options of where else we are permitted to park.

Your experience here will largely depend on which building you reside. I live in the manor and we have horrible mice infestation and the buildings are old. I see many complaints about the garden apartments dealing with stolen packages, towed cars and heating/plumbing systems failing. Blossom Row is probably the best location but you will pay for what should be customary for all.

I love it here at Chesnuthill Hill Village the closeness of all the conforts. The Maintenance people are the Best. The Downside is the new rules since the buyout with no explanations of changes that were made or the Office Team may have 1 or 2 rude people who aren't willing to help. Being charged for trash take out twice it was never asked if I wanted this concierge service of a 25.00 charge when we already pay for the trash via another Company. New rules to the pool that makes no sense in regards to children it's as we went back in time with Amico Truthfully Evelyn C.

The unit itself is pretty nice but once you move in you will be overcharged, double charged, whatever they feel like charging you. I am now being told that I cannot opt out of a valet waste removal service when the trash dump (never clean and trash all over the street) is 5 steps from my front door, oh and I already pay for the regular dumpster trash service.
We pay a "utilities" fee to the place when we already pay the gas and electric companies directly. We pay for "pest control" but have had an ant and tick infestation for 6 months with no calls back from anyone.

I have never once received a call back from the office or maintenance (I have been waiting 9 months for them to fix my front screen door that is broken).

A little extra bit, they will also give your key to third party people to enter your home unannounced while your wife is in the shower and your daughter is sleeping just because.

I had seen other reviews before I moved in about the management but ignored them and moved in anyway. Now I am trying to figure out how to get out of my lease because the extra charges and hidden charged are so absurd that we can't afford to live here anymore.

Beware! It is infested with mice, mice and more mice! The buildings are old and the management doesn't do enough to solve the problem. They obviously don't like permanent solutions because those cost more money.

Former and current management care more about the exterior of the community, in order to attract new residents, rather than the interior of their units and the satisfaction of their current residents.

Service requests might take months or even more than a year to get resolved! Even if some of them have to do with the safety of residents! Maintenance personnel don't follow the instructions while entering the units, don't always provide an update of what they did while in there.

We made an appointment online (which I confirmed the day prior) and had to chase down the leasing office (which is part of Chestnut Hill Village) to get someone to help us - clearly no one was expecting us and the person who "helped" us acted like we were imposing on her for wanting to see one of the units. We should have just left at that point instead of actually seeing the unit, because the quality of the construction was HORRIFIC. Crooked kitchen cabinets that would barely open, uneven floors, carpet haphazardly tacked down on the stairs. Units are impractically laid out with a split level living and dining area - the living area is too small to fit a full-sized couch. We asked a number of questions about the other models and the community as a whole, none of which the agent knew the answer to (nor did she make any attempt to say she would follow up). Given the incompetence of the leasing staff, I would be terrified to move in there and need something from maintenance. Save your time and money and look elsewhere!

Blossom Row is the same as Chestnut Hill Village. Weekly/ Monthly tow raids out there. The cars just end up parked across the street at Chestnut HillTowers.
