Nirvana Indian Bistro

December 2021: lovely ambience. Friendly staff. Tasty food especially since my spicy level is mild. We had masala tea, chili paneer, vegetable biryani, tomato soup, mango chutney.

Food was really good. Usually some of the items we ordered are made very oily. But not at Nirvana. Very friendly people and delicious food

Great food and nice service,Dahi Aloo Papari chat and Vegetable Samosa was really good.Chicken Biriyani was good it came with Raita and had good quantity for two people. Their masala chai tasted great among the other ones I tried in philly.

Everything was superb ! Nirvana is the PERFECT name for this place . Happy, our server, was friendly and attentive . My boyfriend never had indian food before and I believe he may have experienced a little actual nirvana when he did. Our vegetable samosa starter was soo delicious and for our main course we shared the chana masala, and tandoori salmon. we were so full but still HAD to get some orange slices filled with sorbet before we left and of course they were worth the bloat. We will be back soon to try many more menu items!

We met for a family dinner on a friend's recommendation here. We ordered a variety of food and it was all well made, and all spiced according to each diner's requests. The menu itself was pretty typical for an Indian restaurant in the US. The service was good, accurate and quick. The only real difficulty was that parking is directly off the street, so backing out is awkward.

Delicious Indian food with multiple spice options. They can make it as spicy or mild, depending on the dish, as you like. Our go to is naan, chicken Tikka masala, and lamb Madras curry. Very friendly and timely service. Cash payments are a little cheaper so if you can, recommend bringing cash.

Our family has been coming to Nirvana for many years and it is consistently the best Indian food we've had. The richness of the curries, the freshness of the naan, and the broad selection of dishes is really hard to beat in the area. When we dine in, the service is prompt and polite, and they are always patient regardless of the size (or age) of the group; our now 3 year old is basically 10% Indian food from Nirvana! We also do take out, and our order is always ready and waiting to go exactly when it says it would be. I (and the 500+ other commenters) would highly recommend going to Nirvana, I think you'll be happy you did.

The food is amazing, but that’s not only why it deserves a five star. The Waiter is the nicest man I’ve perhaps ever met. He knows the menu and gives great recommendations and tailors the spice to your liking. He also gives out free items “on the house” such as dishes and drinks. If you go please tip in cash and with generosity… this man is truly so kind.

First time here and the food was absolutely delicious. Had the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan, flavors were all the way there! Service was quick and waitress was super friendly. We will be back again soon!!

This place is incredible. We enjoyed this place so much after going there for the first time we went for a business dinner with some clients the very next day. We had the pakora which was served with a trio of sauces, all of complimented them greatly, Chicken 65 a very tasty, spicy chicken appetizer. For entrees we had chicken Tikka masala, goat curry, and shrimp mango curry. They are willing to adjust heat (spiciness) levels to your comfortability. We loved this place so much both times and cannot wait to get back again

Highly highly recommend! They are consistently wonderful in every way. The food is phenomenal - and we've had a LOT of Indian Food in our lives. They are the best, they do a fantastic job. On top of that, the staff are the nicest people - we're regulars and we love chatting with them. We also love that they have clearly labeled vegan options. The service is fast too, they do everything right!

My family has been going to this restaurant since they were back in Conshohocken. The food never disappoints and there is a nice selection to choose from for general, vegan, and vegetarian diets.

As a spice junkie I can confidently say you can order any of the spiciest dishes on the menu and you'll be okay. The buffet is the best way to try most of the menu; it's closed right now but do your best to go back a few times and try a few things. All of it is really good and well made 😁

Our office ordered lunch from Nirvana today and everyone agreed it was phenomenal. The people that don't like spicy foods were so happy with "mild" spice level and the people that like it hot were very happy as well. Wonderful flavor, fresh food, cooked perfectly. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Food is delicious! Very flavorful and tasty. I've been eating here since I moved to the area in March 2014. Very friendly staff and excellant service. They are now offering lunch combo specials. I've had the Monday special twice, once for take out, and once to eat in. My favorites are; Chana Saag, Saag Paneer, Chana Masala, and Chicken/Paneer Tikka Masala. The Roti and naan are good too.
