St Anne's Church

Seems like a great environment. Many young families and children. On the day I went to mass they had donuts and coffee out front! Really a beautiful parish and a place I’m glad to call my new church home.

Beautiful church. Caring priests with Father Mongiello leading the way. Congregation is friendly, welcoming and actively involved with the church.

Just went in for my routine confession, but it is such a calming place to go. The priests are wonderful and go beyond just your "sins" and lend an ear for any issues that you have. They are very compassionate and understanding. I also find it very soothing to just sit for a while after my penance and enjoy the feeling that I get by being there. I also love going to 10:30am Mass on Sunday because they have the choir. And the service is very reassuring because it has, except for a few responses, been the same for the almost 5 decades that I have been attending church. I grew up in New Jersey and was forcibly moved to Bethlehem for my ex-husbands job and St. Anne's was a place that I could go to in order to center myself because, although it's far from where I came from, the ritual of the Mass was the same. Plus, the other parishioners are so friendly and open, you can't help but make friends.

I came to St. Anne's on Dec 23rd for confession. I like that this parish offers the sacrament on the 23rd. Most other parishes stopped doing confessions last week. The church I attend had it one time, on the 10th, simply not enough opportunities. I don't live near St. Anne's, if I did, I would become a member, I had to drive pretty far though.
Another thing that I liked is that they gave the time for the start of confession but did not give an end time. One time I went to a church and was in line the entire time and was turned away because the end time approached. I liked that these priests stayed to hear everyone's confessions. I got nervous when we arrived at 7 and there was already a huge line, but it worked out. I would like to attend midnight mass on Christmas, not many parishes offer it anymore.

Attended a funeral for my stepmother. Fr. Mongielo has been so kind to my family for years and we all appreciate that.

This beautiful church has devoted priests who have wonderful voices and great senses of humor.

I still remember the homily about the seed store where Jesus was giving away seeds for free. Will visit again if I ever happen to be in the neighborhood.
