We have been very pleased with the care of our 3 children. Dr. Shambaugh is laid back, giving us all the information to make educated decisions regarding our kids’ health. He didn’t make us feel silly for asking questions as first time parents and listens to our concerns now as we have had multiple children. We highly recommend.

You were my pediatrician throughout my entire childhood. When I was 10 I had a bad blood disorder and you recognized what it was when other doctors hadn’t.
I would have been dead within a week if you hadn’t acted immediately to advise the doctors at the hospital. Thank you.

We had taken our kids here for years, back before Shambaugh took over. Since then I have not been nearly as pleased with the concern and care given to our children. We were recently refused further service because we had questions and concerns about some "standard" procedures that are not required by law and Shambaugh didn't even have the decency to talk to us about any of that before mailing us a nasty letter and trying to collect on a copay we were never informed about from 3 months ago. Very disappointed, and certainly would not recommend. It's a shame there's no other pediatric care nearby because much better options can be found in neighboring counties.
